I would highly recommend Kellen he goes above his job task by carrying about his client.
Upon arrival, I assessed the customer's complaint about the cooling unit stopping. The blower was operational, but the outdoor unit was inactive. I reset the thermostat to cooling mode, and the system restarted successfully. I checked refrigerant levels, which were normal, and ensured the drains were clear. The air filter was slightly dirty, so I cleaned it. I also inspected the TXV and the Coleman inverter unit, finding no visible codes. The system is now running and cooling effectively.
Upon arrival, the Amana gas furnace with a straight cool condenser, installed in 2019, was not providing any cooling. The condensing unit displayed an L6 code, indicating a failed capacitor. I replaced the 35mfd capacitor under warranty, ensuring the system's reliability. Additionally, I installed a compressor saver to enhance the efficiency of the compressor during startup. After completing the installation, I conducted a thorough function check to verify the system's performance. The system was successfully running and effectively cooling the home by the time I departed.
Upon arrival, I identified that the second tank was experiencing a blockage at the inlet, preventing proper water flow. To address this issue, I carefully removed the pipe where the water enters the tank. This action successfully restored the flow, allowing the tank to function correctly again. Additionally, I plan to investigate the possibility of sourcing a new controller for the pump to prevent future issues. To ensure the customer is fully informed, I will reach out on Monday or Tuesday to discuss the situation and any potential next steps. This thorough approach aims to provide a lasting solution and maintain the system's efficiency.
Upon arrival, I conducted a thorough inspection of the system as requested. I checked all components for functionality and identified potential issues. I took detailed notes and documented my findings. I attempted to contact the customer via phone but did not receive an answer. Given the circumstances, I decided not to leave a voicemail and instead planned to gather more information. I will follow up with the customer on Monday to discuss the findings and next steps. I ensured all equipment was left in a secure and orderly condition before departing.

Upon arrival, I conducted a thorough inspection and discovered unusual refrigerant levels, indicated by a very low delta temperature. The coil was not circulating refrigerant properly, causing it to warm up. To prevent further damage to the compressor, I advised the customer to shut off the outdoor unit immediately. I scheduled a Comfort Advisor visit for 9 am on 10/9/26 to address the issue comprehensively and ensure the system operates efficiently.
Upon arrival, I identified that the disconnect switch was left in the off position, which was affecting the system's functionality. I carefully examined the switch and confirmed its position. To resolve the issue, I turned the disconnect switch to the correct on position. After ensuring the switch was properly set, I tested the system to verify that it was operating as intended. The system responded correctly, indicating that the issue had been successfully resolved.
On 10/7/26, I performed a comprehensive tune-up. I inspected the electrical connections, which were secure, and found the coil acceptable. The blower wheel showed minor biological growth. I recommended a UV system, which the customer decided to purchase. I also checked the outdoor unit, ensuring all electrical connections were tight and the capacitor was within range. The top of the unit was cleaned and waxed. Refrigerant levels, compressor, fan motor, and heat strips were all functioning correctly. The customer plans to use her free service fee for the UV light installation.
I thoroughly inspected and maintained the 2025 Ducane Airhandler, ensuring all electrical connections were secure and tight. I replaced the filter with the customer-provided one and confirmed the drain was clear and functioning properly. The blower motor and wheel were inspected and found to be in acceptable condition. The evaporator coil was also checked and deemed acceptable. For the 2025 Ducane Heatpump, I verified all electrical connections were secure and tightened as needed. The dual run capacitor was within the manufacturer's specified range. The primary electrical unit, defrost board, and refrigerant levels were all acceptable. The fan blades and motor were inspected and found to be in good condition, as were the condenser coils. I cleared debris from the bottom of the unit and cleaned the condenser coils from the inside out. I recommended installing a Micro Air Soft Start or Compressor Saver to reduce inrush amp draw and a UV 200 to prevent biological growth and maintain clean
Upon arrival, the customer reported a blank thermostat and suspected a blown fuse. After thorough evaluation, I confirmed that the fuse was intact. Further inspection revealed that the primary drain line was clogged, causing the float switch to trip. The customer mentioned that a previous technician had not identified this issue during their visit. I cleared the clogged drain and utilized the recall function to address the missed issue. The system was left operational in cooling mode.
During the tune-up, I inspected a 2007 Carrier air handler and heat pump. The evaporator coil was heavily rusted, and the blower motor and wheel were compromised. The drain was filled with debris and lacked protection. The TXV bulb was found outside the unit, likely not functioning properly. The return air was inadequate, and the primary electrical unit had significant carbon buildup. The refrigerant levels were acceptable, but multiple components showed severe rust. I recommended replacing the system due to its compromised state and high repair costs. Photos and detailed recommendations were sent to the customer.
I contacted the customer to schedule an appointment for a comfort advisor, focusing on adding a second unit to the primary bedroom and splitting the home into two systems. Upon arrival, the system was not cooling. I identified a low pressure switch trip code on the outdoor unit, performed a hard reset, and allowed the system to restart. After ensuring refrigerant levels were within range, I confirmed the drains were clear and airflow was adequate. The air filter was slightly dirty, so I replaced it to rule out any potential issues. The system resumed normal operation, effectively cooling the home by the time I left.
On September 28, I received a request from a customer for estimates on the rough-in and top-out phases of their project. I reviewed the provided plans and scheduled a meeting with the homeowner and Mark W for October 5. During our discussion, we thoroughly examined the plans, ensuring all requirements were understood. I will contact the homeowner shortly to provide a detailed estimate, aiming to start the project promptly and efficiently.
On October 2, I visited the site to address an issue with the existing shutoff valve at the well. Upon inspection, it was determined that the current valve needed to be replaced. I assessed the situation and confirmed that a 1-inch shutoff valve would be the most suitable replacement. I proceeded to remove the old valve and installed the new 1-inch shutoff valve, ensuring it was securely and correctly positioned. The new valve was tested to confirm proper functionality. The job was completed efficiently, and the well system is now operating as intended with the new valve in place.
Upon receiving the call, I began by assessing the issue with the drain. I carefully disassembled the drain components, ensuring minimal disruption. Using specialized tools, I inspected the internal parts for any blockages or damage. After identifying the source of the obstruction, I employed various techniques to attempt clearing the blockage. This included using a drain snake and applying appropriate cleaning agents. Throughout the process, I maintained a high level of attention to detail to ensure thoroughness. Although I made every effort to resolve the issue, I want to clarify that this service is provided as an attempt only, with no warranty on the outcome.
During the service, I thoroughly inspected and maintained a 2025 Amana Airhandler. I checked and tightened all electrical connections to ensure safety and efficiency. The customer had recently changed the filter, which was in good condition. The drain was clear and functioning properly. The blower motor and wheel were inspected and found to be acceptable. The evaporator coil was also in good condition. Additionally, the unit surge protection was functional. For the 2025 Goodman Heatpump, I inspected and tightened all electrical connections. The dual run capacitor was within the manufacturer's specified range. The primary electrical unit and defrost board were both acceptable. However, the unit surge protection had no light, indicating it needed replacement. Refrigerant levels were acceptable, and the fan blades and motor were in good condition. The condenser coils were clean, and I washed them from the inside out. I also cleared debris from the bottom of the unit. I recommended replaci
Upon arrival, I assessed the customer's drainage system and identified a clog in the primary drain. The secondary drain was also leaking, causing water to drip. I recommended clearing the clog and addressing the leak. The customer opted for a drain switch and level 3 dryer vent cleaning. I successfully cleared the drain, installed the switch, and performed a thorough dryer vent cleaning. The customer also joined the Comfort Care Club for ongoing maintenance.
We conducted a thorough pressure test on the home to identify any potential leaks, either within the home or beneath the slab. To facilitate access, we removed the water heater. After the repair, we tested the circulation line and maintained a pressure of 58 psi for ten minutes, confirming no leaks were present. During the test, we observed that the Culligan water softener was undergoing a regeneration cycle, which is typically scheduled for nighttime. We advised the homeowner to contact Culligan for a system check to ensure optimal performance.
I successfully completed a pipe repair beneath the structure. The affected area is now sealed and operational. However, due to the age and condition of the existing pipe, I cannot provide a warranty for the connection. The repair process involved identifying the leak, replacing the damaged section, and ensuring a secure and leak-free seal. All work was performed with precision and care.
Upon arrival, I engaged in a conversation with the customer to understand their concerns regarding the noise level of the outside unit. After listening carefully, I inspected the unit and determined that it was operating normally. The noise they were hearing was the compressor kicking on at the start of each cooling cycle, a common occurrence. To address this, I explained that installing a soft start kit could effectively eliminate the thump. After discussing the potential solution, I collected the service fee via card. To ensure comfort, I left the thermostat set to 79 degrees before departing.
During the recent tune-up of the 2024 Amana heat pump system, the evaporator coil and blower wheel were found to be in acceptable condition. All electrical connections were secure and free from burn marks, and refrigerant levels were within the specified range. However, the condenser coils were heavily compacted with dust and dirt, which were cleaned thoroughly. The primary electrical unit and run capacitors were also within acceptable parameters. The drain in the primary P-trap was cleared to prevent future clogs. A recommendation to upgrade to a microair soft start kit was made to further reduce inrush energy usage at the compressor. Photos and detailed recommendations were emailed to the homeowner.
I arrived to install a new doorbell for the customer. After carefully mounting the doorbell, I tested it to ensure it functioned correctly. I then guided the customer through downloading the associated app and connecting it to the doorbell. I explained the app's features and how to use them. I reassured the customer that if any issues arise or further assistance is needed, they can contact us for support. The installation was completed successfully, and the customer was satisfied with the outcome.
Upon arrival, I assessed the condenser fan motor, which was struggling to spin. The motor had failed due to worn-out bearings. I replaced the faulty 825rpm, 1/3 horsepower condenser fan motor with a new one. After installation, I conducted a thorough function check to ensure the motor was operating correctly. The system was then tested for proper cooling efficiency. The home was successfully cooled upon my departure, with the new motor running smoothly.
Upon arrival, I conducted a thorough inspection of the system and identified that the primary drain was obstructed, leading to intermittent shutdowns. This blockage was triggering the brain safety switch, which was shutting down the unit. I carefully cleared the blockage from the drain to restore proper functionality. To prevent future issues, I installed a drain pan treatment designed to keep the drain clear and free from obstructions. After completing these tasks, I performed a comprehensive function check to ensure the system was operating correctly. The unit was successfully running and cooling efficiently upon my departure.
Upon arrival, the customer reported intermittent cooling issues with the bedroom system following a recent storm. They had already reset the system at the breakers, and upon inspection, the system was running normally. Refrigerant levels, amp draws, and electrical connections were all found to be within normal parameters. During the inspection, a wasp nest was discovered inside the service panel. The nest was carefully removed, and the wasps were safely relocated. A thorough safety check was conducted on the other unit, which was also operating normally. The UV bulb on the bedroom unit was identified as expired and was recommended for replacement. The UV bulb on the other unit is still operational but nearing the end of its service life and will require replacement soon.
