Cap on downstairs unit was blown on fan side and 20 % outside tolerance on herm. Fan motor was not coming on causing the compressor to short cycle on overheat. Replaced with new dual run cap 55/7.5 mfd and single run 5 mfd combined to create 60/7.5 mfd. Installed fan and compressor came on system 8s now on and cooling properly. While I was onsite customer mentioned upstairs unit was chasing the thermostat temp and running long periods of time told customer I would take a look. Hooked up gauges refrigerant reading yielded system was low on refrigerant leak on system R22. After a conversation with customer we both agree it would be more beneficial to replace system than bandaid repair the current system. Signed up for titanium membership and scheduled visit with comfort advisor tomorrow 3-5 to discuss their options of replacement. Equipment being replaced serves the upstairs area of home.

Goodman gas furnace with straight cool condenser installed in 2018. Arrived to no cool. Blower was blowing air but it was not cold. Discovered that capacitor had failed and burned the wire connections. Changed out 45/5 capacitor and fixed wire connections. System running in cool upon departure.

Upon arrival the outside unit was not running. The capicator was within tolerance and the refrigerant was at good levels. I went to the air handler and saw water in the secondary pan and the secondary drain line with a drain switch on it was completely full. I cut and cleared the primary drain line before the p trap and then flushed the primary with a large amount of white vinegar and it was flowing smoothly at this point. After flushing the drain line and clearing the blockage the outdoor unit came back on and the house began to cool. Before I left I ensured that the outside unit was back up and running. Thanks for choosing comfort experts and have a great night!

1999 gas furnace, r22 or 407c. Not sure, had a friend do some work years ago. Blower capacitor is failing, low Refrigerant, evaporator plenum not installed correctly, furnace flu not installed correctly, condenser capacitor failing, condenser coils have 2 large spots of what seems to be animal urine that are through the coils. Heat exchanger burners have orange flame coming back into the cabin indicating a cracked HE. Customer has agreed to a 6pm CA appointment on 05/25/23 confirmed by Rob G.

Competed a CTU Unit is functioning properly. Corrected a couple concerns with wiring. Voltage wires in from main power to airhandler breaker was not installed properly. Refer to pictures for observation. I cut and stripped the wires and reattached them to the breaker. I also checked voltage drop upon completion Refer to pictures. Also the vapor line insulation was detached or removed from the Vapor line leaving cold copper line exposed to hot attic air causing condensation. I repaired the small area to stop the issue of concern. Indoor coil, blower, cap, and connections were good. Air delta was 20 degrees. Indoor unit functioning properly. Outdoor unit is functing as it should. Compressor and fan amps ok, cap was within spec, fan motor and blade ok. Outdoor coil clean. Refrigerant levels were good. Recommended an outdoor unit surge protector to customer. Customer is happy.

Heat pump 3.5 ton system had some biological grow. I took some disinfectant wipes and got it all off. System is within tolerance and condensor coil is now clean and free of debre. Over still a good working system. My recommendations are a drain line float switch and a uv system to keep the system healthy. Thanks for choosing comfort experts.

System not working properly due to the outdoor unit not going into defrost so the system remained frozen, this is due to the defrost control board being bad, I replaced the board under warranty, system is working as it should

69 AHC Complete Customer claims high energy bill. Double from normal. Indoor unit was purchased in 2018 per customer carbon copy from Decatur heat and air. MF date is 04/2011. Filter wrong size - requires a 20*20*5 Drain line clear - secondary drain line not connected properly and has a float switch on it. Blower wheel inspected Evaporator coil inspected - leaks detected, could be the problem due to wh system always calling for second stage heating using heatstrips. Tstat wires - insulation jacket compromised on multiple wires. Many breaks and cracks in the door covers - leaking energy. I discussed with the customer the issues I found, customer called son over the phone and I had a conversation with him. Cust son said "we're not paying anything but the service fee". Said they would call installer to figure out what can be claimed.
