My air conditioner would not turn on so I googled top rated air conditioner repair service in my area and Comfort Experts came up as a choice. It was on a Saturday when I called and was not available to meet the Technian until after 7:00 pm. The Technician arrived about 7:30 and stayed until 10:30 working in the rain to identify the part that had caused the unit to short out. When given the bill I was surprised how little I had to pay. The Tech was great & explained everything to us.

Completed my thorough inspection, both indoor units were inspected, both drains are clear and only 1 filter was replaced, the lenex filter wasn't the proper size. I would advise installing 1 UV system for each to sanitize the air as it passes through your blower. I would also advise installing a home surge protector to prevent unwanted power surges from getting to your home appliances and goods. The best way to clean out your lines is to install a treatment strip in each coil to bleach the incoming water from the evap coil. Both outdoor units were inspected, washed, and both capacitors are within rating. 2 treatment strips

Downstairs unit cap was out hard start was acting in place of start cap cx said he will replace himself. Refrigerant level is normal on both. Washed and cleaned both units. Moved to indoor units tested all components all measured within ratings and specs. Blowers, coils and drains are clean and clear at this time. Offered cx UV light for indoor air quality. Cx politely declined today.

Downstairs unit seems to be running great , blower is clean, filter changed, safety's are good , drain is clear, control board is good , sequence of operations for heat is great , Capacitor is up to tolerance, refrigerant levels are perfect , All disconnects are in good condition. All compressors are good . Downstairs unit and bedroom units are working and safety's check out .upstairs unit was ok , blower wheel is exceptional , sequence of operations for heat is good . System would not turn on due to faulty drain switch , bad capacitor, and added a pan strip . Refrigerant levels are good , compressor good , contactor is healthy. Add pan strip, Add capacitor 45/5 , Add drain switch

Upon arrival found both systems cooling with a 20 delta. Both filters were dirty and swapped filters. Delta was at 20. Tested drains with 2 gallons of water and the drains cleared without any issues. The thermostat on their wall wouldn't respond when you press the buttons. Replaced thermostat with customer's approval. Inspected outdoor units and cleaned both condenser coils. Both capacitors were low charged with the one on the bigger unit being much lower. Recommended compressor saver and a new capacitor. Customer wanted to replace the capacitor only today. Replaced the capacitor and system was cooling with a 20 delta.

3/29/23 Jhorden P - Replacement blower motor install completed. I received the replacement blower motor from Rob Hart to replace the temporary blower motor Alex installed 3/28/23. Once I arrived at the customer’s house I then proceeded to remove the temporary blower motor and replaced it with the new original blower motor. Tested the system in heating and cooling the blower motor operated in both. Contacted Robert Vinson to inform him everything is running properly. 3/28/23 Jhorden P - 99 recall due to part failure.

Amana gas furnace installed in 2010 with Amana straight cool condenser installed in 2017. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Ecm blower motor is acceptable. Evap coil and blower wheel are clean. 30/5 dual run capacitor is in range. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Customer complained of biological growth coming out of vents in kitchen. Tech discovered many spots in metal ducting where insulation had come undone and there was evidence of animals that had torn up some insulation. This is causing the metal ducting to condensate and bring moisture through the vents. Customer scheduled to speak with a comfort advisor regarding duct work.
