My air conditioner would not turn on so I googled top rated air conditioner repair service in my area and Comfort Experts came up as a choice. It was on a Saturday when I called and was not available to meet the Technian until after 7:00 pm. The Technician arrived about 7:30 and stayed until 10:30 working in the rain to identify the part that had caused the unit to short out. When given the bill I was surprised how little I had to pay. The Tech was great & explained everything to us.
Upon arrival systems on and cooling. Inspected outdoor units. Fan and compressor amp draws with unit specifications. Both capacitors out of tolerance. Refrigerant pressures good. Inspected indoor units. Drain lines clear. Blowers and coils clean. Recommended replacement of capacitors and installation of compressor saver kits. Customer agreed.
Completed tune up. Outdoor unit capacitor was out of tolerance. Replaced dual run capacitor. Fan and compressor pulling normal amps. Refrigerant level good. Washed outdoor coil. No issues on indoor unit. Blower wheel clean. Drain clear. Changed filter. Coil had some minor corrosion. Attic could use some insulation as joist are visible. System running in cooling on departure
Not an install negligence or part failure units sound is the vibration and sound of the compressor operating in 1st stage
5/12/22 Tyler B - System not working due to being low on refrigerant, located leak in condenser coil, ordering new coil and txv under P&L warranty
Thoroughly performed a super tune up, washed condenser coil out and checked all components. Refrigerant levels are low sat temp 30°, furnace extremely dirty, blower leaking oil covered in dust, flame sensor burned up, gas valve sticking and system is r22. Highly recommended upgrading to something reliable with warranties behind it before summer hits. Customer will let system totally die first.
Right side unit Lv4 36k horizontal gas with Lv3 filtration
Performed ctu, system operating as should. Primary drainline clogged. Cleared drainline, recommend safety switch to prevent issues in the future. Compressor pulling over lra, to extend lifespan of system and machine recommend compressor saver
Completed tune up on downstairs unit. No issues. Upstairs unit was down when i arrived. Needs condensor fan motor ordered. Unit left down.
$1 3/23/22 Tyler - System not heating due to drain line being clogged, I was unable to unclog drain line so I recommended a condensate pump, customer purchased the repair and I am ordering the pump, system is down as far as cooling but it is able to heat.
