Tech arrived at a service call. Customer described that the compressor may be shutting down in the heat of the day. System was functioning at this time. The Delta and refrigerant was within range. The high side was a little high and the compressor amp draw was a little high. The capacitor was within specs and the contactor was in working condition. The coils were relatively clean but could use a wash. The top was removed and the coils were hosed off from the inside. The customer was informed of the benefits behind adding a Compressor Saver to the system. He is moving soon and will hold off at this time. The system was functioning upon departure.

Tech arrived at a membership service call. Upon inspection the outside system appeared to be tripping on high pressure. The customer recently had landscapers that removed debris from around the condenser. The condenser coils were fully covered. The top was removed and the condenser coils were hosed off to assist with air flow across the coils. The system regained functionality with a 18 degree Delta. The contactor was scorched. This item was replaced today.
