On arrival the system was freezing up , upon further investigation found a leak in the Evaporator coil , customer has home warranty and will contact them to see if they will replace the coil. Electronic leak searched system found leak on bottom right side by the rust and corrosion base of header plate, went on the face side and found solid leak detection reccomend to replace coil and touch back with us.

Lennox air handler with heat pump installed in 2002. R-22 system. Arrived to no cool. Discovered 60/7.5 capacitor reading .1/7.3. Replaced capacitor and system started up and cooled to a 21 degree delta T. TXV system showing that subcooling is low at 2.1 degrees meaning that system is low on refrigerant. Customer is not interested in replacing system at this time.

Condenser fan motor, compressor amping high, blower motor leaking oil, evaporator coil rusty corroded and dirty, build up on blower wheel, biological growth, system upgrade do to age condition and refrigerate phase.

Replaced evap coil, purged with nitrogen, pulled vacuum and recharged with 9 pounds of 410a. Need the proper sized pass through breakers. Both breakers on system are 45amp and tech was given a 30 amp and a 60 amp. Need to return with the correct breakers to finish job.

Arrived to no cool. Discovered evap coil and compressor frozen up. Thawed ice and performed leak check. Found small leak in lower corner of coil. Unit is performing like it has a blockage in coil as well. Low superheat and low subcooling. Symptoms could be coming from poor airflow across evap coil. Customer is interested in replacing unit with something new with warranties. Comfort advisor scheduled to come out tomorrow.

System down upon arrival. Upon investigation, found the evaporator coil frozen, no air filter, and no power to primary control contactor. Bryant 50a breaker compromised, took lines from 50a blue and removed voltage from 60a Bryant orange (heatstrip) and utilized that breaker to get cust up and running. Dethawed System and left running in cool mode. Cust purchased a titanium, 50a blue Bryant breaker, and a pass-through 45a breaker for indoor unit (compromised as well, passing power when off). Data tag was illegible. I think we installed 9 years ago. Cust also claimed husband was trying to figure out the labor warranty issue with the office. I explained that if we purchase these products now and get them ordered and then find out P&L was reinstated then we would issue a credit, if not then this is what it'll take to get these items fixed.

Main house unit was completely dry on r22, guest house unit was slightly low on r22, fan motor serverly over amping, contactor was welded shut due to ants, heavy biological growth in indoor unit, customer has comfort adviser coming out hopefully today

Completed a $49 eval call for no cooling Upon arrival, unit was not blowing cold. Upon inspection, it was determined the constant suction port was the culprit and leaking. Customer witness the leak detection. Problem was address and refrigerant was added. Deltas rose from 8 degrees to 22 degrees in cooling with correct refrigerant levels. All the Schrader valves were tested for leaking and no leaks present. Customer was very pleased to have cold air. System is 3 years old.

I preformed an air filter change. Customer was member but has since removed membership and will pay for repairs as needed per customer. Upon inspection of filter and plenum, I recommended to customer about duct cleaning and cleaning filter grates and grills. Customer would like to speak with comfort advisor about duct cleaning. Next week April 25th through 28th morning times would be good for customer. Monday the 24th is not. Customer would like the comfort advisor or dispatch to call and set appointment time next week. He also mentioned the repeated calls of dispatch and/or customer service were nuisance. I educated and explained to customer why this is. He was very understanding. Customer did say Tuffys performed a duct cleaning about 5 or so years ago. He also mentioned he know his ducts and grates are dirty.

REAR GUEST BATHROOM this restroom is ok supply is slow all around house drain for sink is slow,recommended a p trap clean, shower like all fixtures has poor water pressure but drainage is good FRONT RESTROOM is also good Drains goodbut pressure is low, toilet flushes ok and fills slow. KITCHEN drain is okay and supply is slow, all other kitchen fixtures are good. WATER HEATER everything is water heater is installed properly, two shutoffs were turned off but customer states he installed all plumbing for water filtration and supply. Customer opted out in inspection of master bedroom

Upon arrival, customer complained about an odd smell coming from the vents, a "mixture of urine and wire" said the adult son. I looked over the indoor unit thoroughly, removing the filter which needs to be replaced immediately, removing the blower wheel and inspecting the heat strips and the supply plenum. No smell inside the unit. The UV bulb was not functional as well, which aids in overall system smell for the most part. <br> I spoke to the customers about the benefits of a maintenance agreement, UV bulb replacement and it's required time frame, the importance of the filter being replaced and adding a condensate drain line treatment to help with performance and odor. Customer will call us when his filter comes in and further discuss the membership plan.

12/21/22 Changed out compressor and charged unit. Will need to return on a day when it is over 65 degrees to fine tune the charge. System was running when tech left.
