I took the time to thoroughly review the thermostat's features, including temperature settings, scheduling options, and energy-saving modes. I provided clear, detailed instructions on how to use these features effectively, ensuring the customers felt confident in managing their home's climate control. Additionally, I addressed any questions they had, reinforcing their understanding and satisfaction with the system.
I successfully constructed the walls for a new closet, ensuring precise measurements and alignment. Each stud was carefully positioned and secured, followed by the installation of drywall panels. The drywall was taped, mudded, and sanded to achieve a smooth finish. The final step involved painting the walls to match the existing decor, enhancing the overall appearance and functionality of the space.
Upon arrival, the customer reported poor cooling and excessive noise. After evaluating the blower speeds, it was found that the noise increased with higher fan speeds, indicating worn bearings in the mini-split head blower. The blower wheel had significant dust, dirt, and biological growth buildup, causing vibrations. The system also shut down randomly without throwing any codes. The condenser coils were heavily compacted with dust and dirt, which were cleaned. Despite the diagnosis button playing a jingle, no codes were generated. I discussed the repairs and unknowns with the customer and recommended a Comfort Advisor visit, which was declined. I informed Riley about the situation, and he agreed to contact the homeowners.
I inspected and tightened all electrical connections on the 2025 Airhandler and Goodman Heatpump. I replaced the filters with the customer-provided ones. The drain was clear and functioning properly, and the blower motor and wheel were in good condition. The evaporator coil and condenser coils were also acceptable. I ensured the dual run cap was within the manufacturer's range and cleared debris from the unit's bottom. The fan blades, motor, and compressor saver were all functional. I washed the condenser coils and waxed the top of the unit. I recommended a comprehensive cleaning (CCC).
I thoroughly inspected and maintained a 2023 Daikin Airhandler, ensuring all electrical connections were secure and functioning correctly. The air filter was in good condition, but there was a buildup at the P-trap in the drain. The blower motor and wheel were operational, but the blower wires showed biological growth. The evaporator coil was clean, while the condensate pan and insulation on the evaporator coil exhibited biological growth. Additionally, I performed a comprehensive service on a 2023 Daikin Heatpump, checking and tightening all electrical connections. The dual run cap, primary electrical unit, and refrigerant levels were acceptable. The fan blades and motor were in good condition, and the condenser coils were clean. I also cleared debris and washed the condenser coils from the inside out, and waxed the top of the unit. I recommended a UV system to address the biological growth, along with clearing and treating the drain, and installing a Micro Air Soft Start Kit.
Upon inspection, the well pump was found to have no power, which was preventing the pressure switch from activating. I began by checking the circuit breaker and ensuring it was not tripped. Next, I examined the wiring connections to the pump and switch, confirming they were secure and intact. After verifying the power supply, I tested the pressure switch itself, finding it to be functional. Ultimately, the issue was resolved by replacing a faulty capacitor, restoring full functionality to the well system.
Upon receiving the customer's report of uneven temperatures in the upstairs rooms, I conducted a thorough inspection. I measured the temperatures at each supply vent and found them to be remarkably consistent, all within a degree of each other. This indicated that the issue was not related to the supply vents. To address the problem, I recommended installing a damper in the system to redirect airflow more effectively into the front room. Alternatively, I suggested a duct redesign to ensure a more balanced distribution of air throughout the upstairs area. These solutions aim to provide a more uniform temperature across all rooms.

Upon arrival, I found the thermostat set at 71 degrees, but the inside temperature was 72 degrees. The system was blowing cold air, but the customer mentioned a Bible study with about 12 people the previous day, which naturally raised the temperature. I recommended using a regular filter and suggested removing the filter box and adding an AprilAire filter box for better filtration and improved airflow. However, the customer declined this recommendation and opted to use a regular pleated filter instead.
