Joe came out to check our mini split in our master bedroom. Intermittently would make a loud racket. He spent 20 minutes trying to replicate but couldn't. He listened to the recording I had made so he could hear what exactly it was doing. He let me know exactly what he was going to do and how the process was for the parts and what would happen when the came in. He was our installer of the unit last year so he knew what he was doing. Also, very courteous and cleaned up after himself. No payment required at this time.

Called on a Sunday due to heater not working. Scheduling was easy, notification on technician was great, provided text when the technician was on the way. Mark was awsome, checked everything. Unfortunate for me the problem was the ducting was torn up by feral cats. Mark scheduled one of their engineers to come out to do an apprasal and quote. Very satisfied with service and information. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again when the need arises.

Jan 8. 2026. Outstanding plumbing service - Truly Above & Beyond. I cannot say enough good things about the plumbing inspection I received from Jarred. From start to finish, this was hands-down the most thorough and professional service I've ever had. He took the time to address every single issue I had - no rushing, no short cuts and explained everything clearly so I actually understood what was going on with my home's plumbing system. He didn't just point out issues; he provided remedies and solutions for potential problems before they become costly emergencies. What really impressed me was the amount of time he spent with me. He went far beyond what was expected, carefully expecting each room and walking me through his findings. He was personable, respectful, and extremely knowledgeable - the perfect balance of professionalism and easy to talk to. At the end of the inspection, he provided a detailed room-by-room report with transparent pricing, which made planning repairs incredibly easy. There was absolutley no pressure, just honest advice and genuine care about the condition of my home. If you want a plumber who is meticulous, trustworthy, patient, and truly invested in doing a good job - Jerred from Comfort Experts is your guy! He provided the kind of service that restores your faith in home professionals. I recommend him without hesitation. Karen C. Fort Worth TX

Alonso was out last week for my annual inspection. He was very professional and cordial. He found that one of my air supply tubes and come loose and I was cooling my attic needless to say that was wasting quite a bit of money. I had him order the part and he came out this afternoon and installed it for me. He was again very cordial and professional.

Alex and his helper came early and stayed late to insure our new HVAC system was installed properly and running correctly. Both men were courteous, knowledgeable, and informative. In spite of Murphey's law glitches they worked tirelessly to get our system up and running correctly. I couldn't be happier with their service and strongly recommend this company and these technicians.

Xcellent job of analyzing the two systems (heating and a/c
Mike did an excellent job on both systems (heating and a/c), and thoroughly explained his findings. For the a/c system he found several things that required replacement and repair. For these he created a detailed analysis and cost estimates. We do need this priced out narrative to consider which one to attend to immediately.

I conducted a thorough evaluation of the unit. Upon inspection, it was found that the unit was not reaching the setpoint. I meticulously checked all functions and settings to identify any issues. After a detailed analysis, I determined that the problem was due to a minor calibration error. I corrected this and ensured the unit operates efficiently. Thank you for choosing our expertise.

Today, I inspected two cooling systems. The smaller system showed no superheat (sc) and a subcooling (sh) of 17. This system requires a leak search and additional refrigerant (freon). The larger system had a superheat of 6 and a subcooling of 25, which is due to a dirty filter and a malfunctioning thermal expansion valve (TXV). This system needs a new TXV to correct the issue. Both systems were cleaned and washed. The homeowners have set the upstairs temperature to 83 degrees and the downstairs to 79 degrees, with minimal demand on the systems.

I conducted a thorough evaluation of the system. The indoor unit is functioning properly, but the outdoor unit was not. I updated the software on the CoolCloud interface, checked the filter, drain, refrigerant, and cap, all of which were in good condition. I discovered the outdoor unit was not receiving high voltage due to a tripped breaker at the main panel. After resetting the breaker, I monitored the system and found no further issues. I also discussed the benefits of the Comfort Club and suggested surge protectors to prevent future problems.

Today, I inspected and serviced three systems. The smallest system required a cut and pull cleaning, drain clearing, and cap replacement. The second-largest system needed cap replacement, drain clearing, and freon refill. The largest system also needed cap replacement and a thorough cut and pull cleaning. Additionally, two smaller units would benefit from new fan motors to prevent high head pressure on the compressors. The largest outdoor unit lacked a cover for the disconnect. I cleaned all three systems, changed two filters, and recommended the homeowner acquire 20×25×4 filters. I also identified significant biogrowth within the systems and suggested UV treatment for all three to maintain good air quality.

We conducted a comprehensive plumbing inspection, identifying several minor issues. Detailed estimates were promptly sent to the customer. During the consultation, the customer expressed interest in relocating their water heater and potentially installing a water softener system. To provide the best possible options and pricing, I coordinated with Plumbing Comfort Advisor Mark W. for a joint visit. On the scheduled day, Mark W. and I arrived to assess the feasibility of moving the water heater from its current location to the garage. We thoroughly discussed the process, potential challenges, and benefits. A detailed estimate was then prepared and sent to the customer via email.

I arrived to address an issue with the upstairs HVAC system not maintaining the desired temperature. The homeowner reported it reached 78° during peak heat, while the thermostat was set at 68°. Upon inspection, the condenser was covered in dirt, and the refrigerant levels were low. Due to the late hour, I scheduled a return visit for the next morning. I returned promptly, cleaned the coil thoroughly, and recharged the system. The temperature differential is now 20°, and the system is cooling effectively. The homeowner opted to leave it running.

During the evaluation, I found that the indoor unit was operational, but the outdoor unit was not. Upon inspection, the outdoor unit was not receiving 240V. The AC breaker at the home panel was tripped and would immediately trip again when attempting to turn it on. The capacitor was in good condition, and a start kit was tried without success. When the compressor was unplugged, the fan started, indicating a failed compressor. I explained the benefits of the Comfort Club, but the homeowner decided to consult a friend who specializes in HVAC before proceeding with any repairs. I left the breaker off at the home panel and the compressor unplugged at the outdoor unit, with the system still down.

Upon arrival, I inspected the system and identified a failed capacitor as the cause of the issue. I replaced the capacitor and performed a minor electrical repair. After the repair, I verified the system's functionality by pouring two gallons of water into the primary drain line, ensuring proper drainage. I also confirmed a 15° temperature split across both systems. Both systems were cooling and fully functional at departure. The capacitor replacement is not covered by warranty. Thank you for choosing Comfort Experts.

Upon arrival, I identified a "transfer wire warning" on a 24kw Generac air-cooled generator. After a thorough inspection, I discovered that the control board was producing only 1.7VDC, significantly below the required voltage. This indicated a fault in the control board. Given that the generator is under warranty, as confirmed by Brian, I proceeded to pause the job to order a replacement control board. The specific part needed is a Generac control board, Model G00721010, Serial 3015378917. Once the part arrives, I will replace the faulty control board to restore the generator's functionality.

Upon arrival, I identified that the combination breaker was frequently tripping, which was traced back to the coffee maker. To resolve this, I removed the combination breaker and installed a regular Homeline 20A breaker, ensuring it was properly secured and tested for functionality. Additionally, I replaced the existing kitchen plug with a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) for enhanced safety. This change not only prevented the breaker from tripping but also provided an extra layer of protection against electrical faults. The coffee maker was then reconnected, and I verified that both the new breaker and GFCI were operating correctly. The job was completed efficiently, ensuring the safety and reliability of the electrical system.

Upon arrival, I assessed the generator displaying a transfer wire warning code. I removed the panel covers and the transfer switch cover to inspect all connections, ensuring they were correctly placed. Despite these checks, the generator continued to show the same code, a problem it has had since its installation in 2024. I verified the wires and voltage levels but found no issues. During the inspection, I consulted with Brian over the phone while Hunter and I were on-site. We decided to call Mark D, who has more expertise in generator issues, to assist further. Mark D was en route and had previously stopped to address other matters. Don, who originally installed the generator, was not available.

Upon inspection, both the upstairs and downstairs systems exhibited significant issues with clogged primary and secondary drain lines. I began by carefully disassembling the drain underneath the sink, ensuring minimal disruption. The primary and secondary drains were thoroughly cleared of obstructions. Following this, I meticulously removed all accumulated water from the emergency drain pans. To prevent future clogs, I applied specialized pant treatments to both systems. After completing these tasks, I verified that both systems were operational and the drains were fully cleared, ensuring optimal performance.

I was called to address an issue with a kitchen breaker tripping whenever the coffee machine was in use. Upon arrival, I identified the breaker as an arc fault GFCI. I inspected the connections on the kitchen plugs and found them to be loose, so I tightened them. Despite my efforts, I couldn't replicate the tripping issue. However, I recommended removing the AFCI component of the breaker and leaving the GFCI in place to prevent future tripping while still providing essential safety protection. This solution should help ensure the kitchen outlets function properly without unnecessary interruptions.

During the service, I performed a comprehensive tune-up on the 2017 Carrier heat pump. I started by changing the filter and ensuring the Delta was functioning properly. All electrical components were tightened, and the drain was cleared. Although the biological growth was noted, no immediate action was taken. The refrigerant levels were checked and found to be adequate, with the cap within tolerance. The start kit was recommended to lower inrush and extend the compressor's life. A slight play on the condenser motor shaft was identified. The unit was thoroughly washed, and the system was cooling effectively when I left. I also discussed the benefits of the Comfort Club, but the homeowner declined additional services for today. They requested a plumber for 8/3/26 and an electrician for 8/4/26.

On August 1, I evaluated an AC system that was not functioning properly in the morning. After inspecting all electrical components, I found they were in good condition. However, the sub-cooling was below the expected level, indicating a refrigerant issue. Unfortunately, I couldn't add Freon because I didn't have the required R32 refrigerant on hand. I paused the service to return next weekend with the necessary refrigerant. Thank you for choosing our services. We look forward to resolving the issue and ensuring your comfort.

Upon arrival, I assessed a system that was non-operational, with the compressor failing to activate despite the presence of a hard start kit, a fresh capacitor, and a new contactor. After thorough testing and analysis, it was determined that the compressor itself was faulty and required replacement. Additionally, the disconnect needed to be replaced to ensure proper system functionality. I provided a detailed evaluation and recommended the necessary replacements. Upon arrival, I conducted a thorough evaluation of the system to ensure optimal performance. The system was found to be functioning correctly, with no issues detected in the drain, filter, or airflow. Refrigerant levels were confirmed to be within the appropriate range, and the cap was inspected and found to be in good condition. Given the possibility of the unit experiencing thermal stress during the day, I took the proactive step of washing the unit to maintain its efficiency. By the time I left, the system was effectively cooling, ensuring your comfort. Thank you for choosing our services.

During the service, I performed a comprehensive tune-up on the system. The air filter was inspected and deemed acceptable, though the homeowner will order and replace it themselves. All furnace components were examined and found to be in good condition. The system's delta pressure and drain were checked, with the drain being clear. The float switch on the emergency pan was found to be operational, but it was not on the primary line. Refrigerant levels were verified to be within acceptable limits, and all electrical components were tested and found to be within tolerance. The outdoor unit was thoroughly cleaned. Additionally, I discussed the benefits of the Comfort Club membership with the homeowner. Upon completion, the system was cooling effectively, and I left with the assurance of a job well done. I completed a successful installation of a mini split system. First, I sold the unit to the customer and ensured they provided a pressure test. I then pulled a vacuum to remove any air and moisture from the system. After setting the charge, I confirmed that the unit was working properly. The customer paid in full using a credit card. The installation was a smooth process, and the customer was satisfied with the outcome.

Upon arrival, I began the Super Tune-Up by thoroughly cleaning the outdoor unit's condenser coils and checking the refrigerant pressures, which were within the manufacturer's specifications. I then inspected all electrical components and controls to ensure proper operation. Moving to the indoor unit, I confirmed a 20°F temperature split between the return and supply plenums. I poured 2 gallons of water into the primary drain line to verify proper drainage and flow. All internal components were inspected and found to be operating correctly. I noticed dust buildup in the return plenum and recommended an IAQ 300 air purification system to improve indoor air quality and efficiency. I also suggested adding a soft start kit to reduce stress on the outdoor unit. The customer declined these recommendations but requested estimates for future consideration. The system was cooling properly and operating normally at departure.

I performed a comprehensive super tune-up on the HVAC system, ensuring optimal performance. I checked and confirmed that the system's deltas were within acceptable limits. All filters were changed to enhance air quality and efficiency. Drains were tested and found to be clear, preventing any potential clogs or leaks. All electrical components were inspected and tightened to ensure safe and reliable operation. Outside, I identified that the hardstart had failed and the capacitor was out of tolerance. Additionally, one unit exhibited a schrader valve issue, causing bubbling. I made the necessary repair on the schrader valve and recommended topping off the system with freon. Both units were thoroughly washed to remove any dirt and debris. The homeowner chose to upgrade to a soft starter, replace the capacitor, and have the system topped off with freon. I conducted a comprehensive super tune-up on the straight electric system, meticulously inspecting all mechanical and electrical components to ensure maximum efficiency. I identified significant issues with the filter, recommending its replacement. Additionally, I highlighted the presence of biological growth within the unit, severe dust accumulation in the blower, and ducts. Photographs were provided to illustrate these concerns. To address these issues, I recommended a UV system installation, duct cleaning, and blower cleaning. An estimate has been sent to the customer, and a follow-up call is scheduled for Friday to discuss their decision. Thank you for choosing our services.
