Customer stated thermostat was giving a no power error message. Found that indoor unit was flashing a 24 error code, indicating an issue with the low voltage side, found contactor coil to be shorted. Poured 1 gallon of water down drain and found no clogs. Quoted customer on contactor and float switch. Customer only wanted contactor at this time.

Arrived to customers wet switch tripping drain line was Clogged, cleared drain line and flushed with 2 gallons of water ,left system cooling
colby.finch@acgenius.com
On arrival the system was running and cooling, satisfying the thermostat demand of 68. I checked the outdoor unit for the downstairs unit and found a subcool and superheat both under 7. The compressor was pulling 17 run amps out of 25 or around 65-70%. The fan is not pulling much heat from the compressor, that combined with a hissing sound from the compressor and the fact that it is pulling a lower than expected run amperage leads me to believe that the compressor has a mechanical failure. Thanks for choosing comfort experts and have a great day!

Master bedroom and office u it had a blown capacitor replaced with 35/7.5 single run caps system is now and cooling. Upstairs unit was not on at all because of a tripped drain switch cleared and tested drain line is now draining properly system is on and cooling.

Arrived for service eval Coil is iced over X13 fan motor does not run consistently Cannot measure refrigerant Dual run cap way out of tolerance Condenser fan motor over amping Compressor over amping at start up Condenser coil very dirty Biological growth present in the supply plenum No water safeties on the air handler Customer is going to try and fix it himself and call us if he wants the air handler replaced
Ian C.
Swapped breaker, no longer tripping
Mike R.
cramed filter at the unit and has allowed dirt to build up that is affecting the pressure of the system it is likey the system will continue to freeze up after long run time. I recommed a cut and pull cleaning as well as a hard start to insure the system continues to function properly and has a long and healthy life.

Upon arrival for service systems on and cooling. Inspected outdoor units. Upstairs unit very dirty. Downstairs unit has low refrigerant. Cleaned upstairs unit. Leak searched downstairs system. Found oil spot on condenser coil. Leak detector verified it was 410a refrigerant oil. Condenser coil will need to be replaced and refrigerant added back to system. Left downstairs off to prevent further damage. Left upstairs on and cooling.
