Mike was pushy and would not leave until I made an appointment I do not intend to keep. Blamed my cat for getting out of the house when the cat has only gone out the door when it has been left open, not while we were walking out. Left the used filter out in my hallway for me to dispose of.

We have been with this company for 11 years and counting. Every single time the service person gets here, they are clean, courteous, knowledgeable, transparent with all the info, etc. They are truly a 5 star company throughout. They take care of all our a/c needs and since we have a service agreement with them ($20/month) they come out 2 times a year for a checkup and cleaning, and service discounts. This company takes all the questions out who to call for a/c, plumbing and electrical. You cannot go wrong with this company!

Mike came in and got right to work; both my wife and I were at home working and he just made it happen. We had been without AC for some time (waiting on a part) and so we were stressed, and I was super-happy that I didn't have to stop what I was doing to sign 100 pieces of paper before he went to work. He worked diligently, updated me when asked, and most importantly when he left my AC worked, I knew why, and the area was cleaner than when he got here.

We have used Comfort Experts / Hobson Air Conditioning so far to: 1. Repair an AC unit 2. Purchase a new AC unit 3. Repair a dryer 4. repair an AC unit (again) Every time, they have been on time, communicative, respectful, and very open about all options without being 'sales-y'. I want to clarify; when I say 'responsive', the last interaction with them began on a Tuesday at 5pm and we had someone in our home looking at the A.C. by Tuesday at 6pm. 100% recommend.

During this visit I washed and cleaned the vendor and changed the filter. The system makes a 15° super heat and td is 20°. The system could benefit from a duct cleaning and also an easy start.
For this super tune-up I inspected the customer's furnace, and condenser. At the customers furnace there is no strain relief for the thermostat wiring going into the system, which is a code violation because over time those wires will wear down from the vibration of the system and cause a short. There needs to be strain relief installed to protect the wiring from damage. Additionally the furnace is short cycling periodically because the flame sensor is corroded. I recommend replacing both the flame sensor and igniter as they are 8 years old and oxidized which is causing the furnace to short cycle. The compressor is overamping on startup, exceeding the LRA which over time is damaging the comp and can shorten the lifespan of it, so I recommend installing a hard start kit to the compressor to keep those amp draws lower. At this time the customer declined all recommendations.
For this evaluation the customers system was not coming on at all. The furnace was not showing any fault codes, however when I bypassed the thermostat by jumping the thermostat wires the system came on. I tried logging into Cool Cloud to see if the system was in need of any updates but the app is down and was not allowing me to login. The customer wanted to go ahead and replace the UV bulb she had in her system since it was over 3 years old. I will need to come back to install the customers IAQ 200 Bulb Replacement.

Arrived onsite customer had a stoppage on one side of the house. Ran sewer machine and pulled back roots. Customer is aware they have a root issue also showed customer on camera. No warranty on drain clear because of root issue.
On this visit I looked at both heating and cooling. This 90% furnace makes a td over 30°. The comments all test in tolerance. I do recommend some uv for this system because of the animal fur build around the unit. The system has a clean April air 410. In cooling it makes a td of 20° and subcool of 8. Also the out could use an easy start to help improve inrush and add longevity to the system.
On this visit I looked at both heating and cooling. Both sides test in tolerance. What concerns me is the electrical panel. She has some tripped breakers. After talking to her she's knows about and has been priced out buy us to fix or replace it and can't afford to do so. Other then this the td in heating 30° and in cooling is 20° with a 7 degree subcool. I do also recommend insulation. She tells me that she doesn't qualify for financing.

Today I returned to complete Rec work of installing a heat pump gutter above the Downstairs unit As well as Replacing both of the value germicidal light bulbs all work was completed without opening up indoor or outdoor units thermostats were not adjusted during my visit thank you for choosing comfort experts!
Installed secondary drain pan, 2x safety switches, 2x drain line repairs and supported the drain line to the master bedroom.
He came to job for breaker tripping and replaced breaker with new one
