Arrived to eval Customer stated the unit wasn’t working since yesterday afternoon Ran test and the outside vapor line was frozen, the filter is extremely dirty due to construction in the house and the blower is dirty too. Recommend changing the filter out every week until the work is done inside. Once the work is done to also get the system cleaned

07/12/24 TS- brought attention to the homeowner that the water is 17+ years old and will need to be replaced. Because of its location and missing a few parts that need to be brought up too code. The bathroom toilet has a weak flush and needs to be replaced. And last the kitchen sink drain needs to be reworked. The P-trapnis on backwards

For this evaluation I showed up to the customer's home and he stated the upstairs bedrooms would get hotter when the doors are closed and the system is running. Customer stated this is a new system and his old system had no problem cooling the rooms. I started at the furnace and the drain line was clear, however I only had a 16 degree Delta. The area in between the roof and ceiling has no insulation and the attic area was roughly 160°. I believe that the heat from the attic is being absorbed and the ductwork mixing with the cold air and not allowing proper cooling. Additionally that heat is leaking into the bedrooms because of the lack of insulation. At the condenser I had a 15° superheat and a 20° sub cool indicating that the system is overcharged.

For this evaluation I showed up to the customer's home and he stated the outdoor unit was not turning on. The furnace was running and second stage cooling however no refrigerant was pumping through the lines. I got to the outdoor the condenser was not on so check the capacitor and it was well out of tolerance so with the customers permission I replaced it. What's your place everything started working like normal.

Arrived for STU Most of the components were working and intolerance The heating elements were out, the disconnect on the indoor unit had a lot of corrosion, the suction was bare and out in the elements, the coil was rusting and corroded, the refrigerant was at 50 super heat when it should have been at 20. Pumped with one pound. System was running before we left Recommend a refurbishing estimate and the customer wanted to know what a new system cost. Scheduled a comfort advisor for 06/26/24 9-12

06/24/24 TS- checked house meter and the digital meter says no flow. Then I went inside and check all toilets too see if they had a slight overflow or leak. Proceeded to check meter and it hasn't moved. Afterwards I filled a 5 gal bucket to see if the meter would move 5 gal or if the meter had any issues, and it seems to be on point. Informed homeowner of my findings and that an irrigation guy needs to check the sprinkler lines and heads. If no issues with irrigation then it could be the city has changed its water rates and caused sticker shock.

Brock provided excellent service. I really liked the service video which provided the a visual picture of the actual condition of my units. The before and after view of service done is great. He also explained the condition of my units and what is needed to provide more protection.

Mike came in and got right to work; both my wife and I were at home working and he just made it happen. We had been without AC for some time (waiting on a part) and so we were stressed, and I was super-happy that I didn't have to stop what I was doing to sign 100 pieces of paper before he went to work. He worked diligently, updated me when asked, and most importantly when he left my AC worked, I knew why, and the area was cleaner than when he got here.
We have used Comfort Experts / Hobson Air Conditioning so far to: 1. Repair an AC unit 2. Purchase a new AC unit 3. Repair a dryer 4. repair an AC unit (again) Every time, they have been on time, communicative, respectful, and very open about all options without being 'sales-y'. I want to clarify; when I say 'responsive', the last interaction with them began on a Tuesday at 5pm and we had someone in our home looking at the A.C. by Tuesday at 6pm. 100% recommend.
