Good information to help owners save.
I think I was lied to

It is my feeling that the company tries to sell things I do not need. It is interesting that the "before" picture was conveniently blurred while the "after" picture showed was very clear. It is my belief that I was taken advantage of and sold something I do not need. I will be cancelling my membership in the "club" which I think is another way to get money.
Great Job!

Alex D - new outdoor installed changed metering device to a piston and used rx11 to flush line set out charged unit to 13 degrees of superheat unit is running properly
colby.finch@acgenius.com
On arrival the outdoor unit was not turning on due to a tripped breaker. With managements permission we have decided to replace the outdoor unit/compressor, change the metering device to a piston and flush the refridgerant lines.

Breaker I. Main panel off, turned breaker on system operating normally. Ran system for an hour checked all components, everything is operating as it should.
colby.finch@acgenius.com
On arrival the outside unit was not receiving 24 volts. I determined that the high pressure safety was open. After reclaiming some refridgerant the high pressure safety closed and the unit ran and produced a 24 degree delta.

Tech arrived at a Trane zoned system tuneup. It was raining off and on throughout the call. Upon inspection, the capacitor was almost out of tolerance. This item was replaced and functioning today. The condenser coils were hosed off to assist with air flow across the coils. There was no observed surge protection. A unit surge protector was added to the system. The light was illuminated after installation. The filter was dirty and replaced. The drain system was clear at this time. A drain treatment strip and inline float switch was added to the drain system today. The Delta was within range. The customer was informed of recommendations and approved repairs today. They decide to move forward with a Titanium Membership Maintenance Plan. The membership discounts were added today. The system was functioning upon departure.

Completed evaluation. On arrival found condenser had error code for locked rotor. Checked capacitor, in tolerance, reading 34.49/4.98. System very low on refrigerant. No sign of leak on any field welds. Performed leak search on evap coil and detected leak multiple times. Ordering replacement evap coil under p&l. Downstairs unit.

Tech arrived for a CTU on the downstairs system and a no cool on the upstairs system. Upstairs: The 35/5 capacitor for the upstairs system was faulty and replaced. Oil was noticed around the suction line field wields proximal to the condenser unit. Refrigerant was at acceptable levels at the time of inspection. Downstairs: drain checked and refrigerant was at acceptable levels. 19 degree delta. Tested components appeared to be functioning properly. Both systems were operating upon departure.

Performed super tune up on both systems, inspected all the components, flushed both drains with 1 gallon of water, and washed the condenser coils. Informed the customer that the upstairs dual run capacitor is testing weak, and the condenser fan motor is showing signs of excessive wear and tear. Gave estimates for repairs but customer declined. Left both systems on in cooling.

Arrived to STU functioning unit. Diagnosed bad dual run cap - replaced with PL warranty. Recommended comp saver due to compressor running hot. Indoor unit functioning fine. Recommended duct cleaning as client advised she had not had one done at the residence. Client declined comp saver and duct cleaning at this time
Casey D.
Did a thurough inspection of customers system. System was in excellent condition. Recommended compressor saver and membership for homeowner. He didn't want to make a decision on anything without his wife present. Was very pleased with service and recommended several neighbors to have tuneups with comfort experts. Also said he would likely purchase membership after discussion with his wife.
