Complete AC Maintenance in Cedar Hill, Texas
As a resident of Cedar Hill, Texas, you know that as summer temperatures rise, it gets increasingly difficult to stay cool. The average summer day in Cedar Hill, Texas is 95 degrees, and temperatures can often feel higher due to the dry air. Having a plan to stay cool is important when summer is on its way. Take stock of your home before summer approaches and identify the areas in which you need to weatherize your home. Make sure the icemaker is producing ice, the windows have a good seal and you have curtains covering windows that let in a lot of light.
Most importantly, complete your AC maintenance early instead of waiting for the heat to strike. Call a technician to perform your AC tune-up service in the spring when temperatures are still lower than 80 degrees. Maintenance to ensure your air conditioning is in good shape is your best defense against the summer heat.

Tips to Stay Cool In Cedar Hill
Keep Yourself Hydrated
Even when your AC unit is in working order, it can still be difficult to keep your body cool at all times, especially when first coming inside after being out in the heat. Always keep hydrating beverages on hand. Water is the best choice when hydrating but you can always drink iced tea, cold sports drinks, or juice when you want the added flavor.
Use Fans to Keep the Air Moving
Keep a few oscillating fans on hand in addition to your ceiling fans. Make sure all of your fans are in good working order. Fans are a great addition to the cool air as they help to circulate the air your AC unit is cooling. As the air moves with more force, your home’s temperature begins to feel much cooler, even if it doesn’t bring down the temperature via the air conditioning unit.
Cook During the Cooler Hours of the Day
If you have to cook, try to avoid doing so during the hottest part of the day. Your AC unit is already working against the heat of the outdoors and any extra heat from inside will make it harder to maintain a cool temperature. Cook your meals early in the morning to avoid adding extra heat to the already high temperatures.
Limit Exposure to the Outdoors and Cool Off Quickly When Returning Indoors
Try not to spend long periods of time outside during the hot summer months. If it is necessary to spend time outside, have a plan to cool yourself off quickly when you return inside. Even when your air conditioner is in ideal working order, it will be a few minutes before your body cools down after the abuse of the scorching summer heat. Try eating a popsicle or enjoying sherbet or a soda float while you sit in the cooler air.
Above any other practice, it is most important to make sure that you always put proper AC repair and maintenance at the top of your to-do list if you want to stay cool. Without a functioning AC unit, there is no tip to help you effectively beat the high heat of the summer in Cedar Hill. Connect with Comfort Experts Inc. at 817-341-5149 for reliable air conditioning service you’ll love.

Well I can't really say much about the service from today due to not much was done. But I will say, Marshall was my tech. He checked all the vents for me w/his phone. They all showed to be putting out 45 to 46 degree of air. He said that was normal. The noise that I was hearing from the downstairs vent in the kitchen was gone. Unfortunately, there was no noise. But I know what we been hearing. (My father was present but I couldn't get him to verify the noise because he was w/the physical therapist at the time Marshall was here. I told him maybe it was because the heater had just been turned on. But I will and can say, he had a great personality & and was very kind to me! He was well attentive to my concerns. I appreciate his tenacity regarding his job knowledge! I would like to say I'm gonna give him a (AVERAGE RATE) because much wasn't done.

It appears that we did not get two major components in replacing our AC unit. As in the Zoning Board & the Damper. Not sure why those 2 items was not added in the beginning for us to purchase w/the new system, especially since we had to buy a WHOLE new unit. My husband & I are now worried about this situation. Because we definitely are in need of them.

I’m sorry to share that I don’t remember our awesome guys name, but he came over and fixed our heater in the middle of freezing weather! He braved the atmosphere and even was outside for some time playing with our switches. He made sure our heat was on, reached the goal heat, and fixed the pipe switch from every 30, to every 90. Amazing work and I’m so grateful!
