Upon arrival the generator would not start and was giving me multiple error codes. Error code 1505 Error code 1501 Error code 1900 Upon further inspection the technician found that the positive battery terminal had corroded to the point of no longer being connected to the battery. Cleaned battery and attached a new terminal. Changed oil, oil filter, air filter and spark plugs. Performed function check. System operating properly at time of departure. All error codes were cleared before departing.
I was here to perform a heating tune up. The heat strips are intolerance. The refrigerant is with within range. I changed out the filter. I sprayed some WD40 in the attic fan to reduce the noise. System does have some biological growth on the inside of the system and on the evaporator coil

On arrival system was off. Ran furnace and it performed as I tended with no issues. Changed out customer supplied bulb and filter.
On arrival furnace turned on and ran with no issues. Tested CO2 and found no ppm. Inducer motor amp draw good. Electrostatic filter very dusty, likely caused blower motor to thermally overload.
On arrival system running and cooling producing 17 degree delta. Indoor unit dirty and evaporator coil rusted. Outdoor unit passed all electrical testing. Went over true cost calculator and showed how waiting to replace system for even another year will drastically increase cost of new system. Customer understood and will consider my recommendation of replacement.

On arrival system was running and cooling producing a 17 degree delta. Indoor unit had a large amount of dust bypassing the filter. Recommended an electrostatic filter to prevent further dust buildup. Coil/supply plenum is growing biological growth. Recommended an iaq 200 uv system to kill biological growth on surfaces and in airflow. Dual run capicator reading 32.79 out of 35 for compressor with a 5% tolerance. Recommended replacing out of tolerance capacitor. Customer would like to move forward with repairs but would like to speak with nephew first.
