Colby F. is a very good technician and is very Knowledgeable on the equipment and what he is doing.
Great service the only thing I didnt care for was trying to sell me a Uv light for my system. They always try to sell me something like this every time and I just want them to come out and do their maintenance work or whatever they were called out for not to try and sell me something.
I called at 7am on a Sunday and my ac was fixed by 11:30 for a minimal fee. The ac guy was super knowledgeable and very polite. Signed a maintenance program with them because of it
Jose and Craig showed up about 8:30am and didn't leave until nearly 6:00pm. Jose was up in the inferno of an attic all day! Craig dealt with the electrical and disposing of the old unit and setting up the new one. These guys didn't seem to take any breaks or bathroom otherwise I was about to fall out and I was just sitting on the front porch. The house was being repaired and the electricians refused to turned everything on. In spite of that, I had no cold air coming into the house that my new thermostat said 97 degrees inside. Both of these young men are knowledgeable and very hard workers. Hobson is blessed to have them and so was I!
Got a good deal; no, I got a great deal Lennox would be my first choice; and it was cheaper than most!
none

Upon inspection, I identified a leak in the hot gas discharge system of the air conditioning unit. The leak was caused by a spring that had dislodged, compromising the integrity of the system. I carefully welded the affected area, ensuring a secure and durable repair. Following the repair, I pulled a vacuum on the system to remove any air and moisture that may have entered. Once the vacuum was achieved, I recharged the system with the appropriate refrigerant, restoring it to optimal operating conditions. The system is now cooling efficiently, providing relief and comfort. Thank you for choosing our services; we are dedicated to ensuring your satisfaction.
I conducted a comprehensive tune-up on the three-year-old HVAC system. This included checking refrigerant pressures, cleaning the outdoor unit, and inspecting all components. I also cleaned the drain lines, replaced the filter, and ensured no mold growth was present. I repaired the low-voltage line at the outdoor condenser to prevent shorting and potential failures. After completing the work, I tested the system to confirm it was functioning correctly.
I successfully replaced the faulty compressor and the reversing valve. Following the replacements, I meticulously pulled a vacuum to remove any air and moisture from the system. After ensuring a proper vacuum, I added the appropriate refrigerant charge. The system responded well, and it is now operating efficiently. Thank you for choosing our services. Have a great day.
The customer reached out for an update on the compressor's estimated time of arrival. I coordinated with Ryan, who will personally contact the customer to provide further details. During our conversation, I advised the customer to ensure safety by turning off the breakers to the unit. This step is crucial to prevent any potential hazards while waiting for the replacement part. Ryan will follow up with the customer to keep them informed about the ETA and any additional steps they might need to take.
Upon arrival, I began by inspecting the reversing valve as per the customer's request. After carefully disassembling the necessary components, I successfully replaced the reversing valve. During this process, I noticed unusual noises and performance issues that suggested a deeper problem. Upon further investigation, I discovered that the compressor had suffered an internal failure. This finding meant that the system could not function properly. Consequently, I paused the service to inform the customer that a new compressor is required. Until the replacement is made, the system remains inoperable.
Upon evaluation, the system was found to be dead on arrival (DOA) with no refrigerant present. After charging the system with nitrogen, a leak was detected at the reversing valve. This component will need to be replaced to restore functionality. The customer has enrolled in the Comfort Care Club, although they were not present during the visit. Their grandson was available and will assist in completing the necessary paperwork once I return to perform the repair. I have ordered a new reversing valve and will proceed with the replacement. The system remains down, and the replacement part is covered under the manufacturer's warranty.
Upon arrival, I identified that the low voltage fuse had popped, indicating an issue with the system. I began by thoroughly inspecting all the wiring connections to ensure there were no loose or damaged components. After confirming the integrity of the wiring, I proceeded to tighten all connections to eliminate any potential points of failure. Following these adjustments, I ran the system for 20 minutes to monitor its performance. The fuse did not pop during this period, indicating that the issue had been successfully resolved. The system is now running smoothly, providing reliable service. Thank you for choosing our expertise; we are committed to ensuring your comfort and satisfaction.
For this job I did an eval. Indoor running, outdoor was not. Breaker had tripped on outdoor, hardstart kit had failed, and capacitor was wired incorrectly. Replaced start kit and rewired cap. Reset breaker and unit came on. Allowed system to run for several minutes without further abnormalities. Went over benefits of H&B Recommend upgrading to soft start. System cooling when I left. Thank you for choosing Comfort Experts!
Today on this job I looked at just the cooling side. Some concerns Using the wrong size filter Compressor common is melted up Hard start should be replaced. Contactor should be replaced. Em pan is rusted over The system a makes a good delta but with these underlying issues it won't work for long. There are also moving out
Completed Stu all electrical components good amp draws good freon good Temp split good drains clean clear condenser clean filter good all gas safties good equipment working properly
For this job I performed and evaluation. When testing the drain line I believe there was a minor clog causing the water to back up to the overflow drain. I had previously talked to homeowner about adding a pan strip due to drink logging history. Homeowner agreed to have a full drain clear and a pan strip added. I recalled the call being that I was there just yesterday and did not check her drains. Thank you for choosing Comfort experts, have a great day!
For this call I performed and evaluation. I discovered a dual run capacitor completely out of tolerance. Homeowner has purchased a premium dual-run capacitor with lifetime warranty, I replaced under warranty. Refrigerant levels were within normal limits, Delta was 21°. I did notice air leakage at the supply ducts and return duct also from the plenums. I set an estimate for resealing all ducts and plenum. Homeowner did not commit to have work done but will consider it in the future. No further suggestions were made, homeowner used their free service for covering evaluation. Thank you for you have a great day!
Found primary drain line to be clogged also found secondary pan not level also found secondary drain not ran correctly or leveled re-leveled drain pan cleared main drain installed new EMT switch fixed all secondary drain unit is now draining correctly and working properly signed customer up on budget plan single system also scheduled for plumber to come out Wednesday collected payment by credit card
For this job I performed an evaluation. I noted that the valve caps on the unit likely due to wear tear and age have become loose starting to rattle while the unit runs. I replace the valve and the unit begins to run quietly as it did before. Refrigerant levels were within normal limits. I recommended a pan strip due to history of previous clogs, homeowner declined at the moment. Thank you for choosing Comfort experts, have a great day!
Completed Stu all electrical components good amp draws good freon good Temp split good drains clean clear condenser clean filter good electric heat working properly unit working properly
For this job I did an evaluation. Asked homeowner about what he was experiencing. Told me symptoms were happening over a week ago, and he shut off outdoor unit at the disconnect. Cap was good, turned unit on and amp draws were good. Refrigerant levels are good. Checked system in heating. No abnormalities. Checked the indoor, filter was very dirty, changed it. Drain line is clear. Electrical components are tight. Based on the symptoms the homeowner was describing, it appears he was experiencing his heatpump going into defrost mode. Recommend surge protection and start kit for unit. Went over benefits of H&B. Homeowner declined work for today. System cooling when I left. Thank you for choosing comfort experts
For this job I did a super tune up. Deltas good. Changed filter. Drain tested clear. Heat strip amp draw is good. Tightened electrical connections. UV bulb failing, recommend replacement or upgrading UV system. Outdoors, refrigerant is good. Running amps good. Cap is good. Washed coil. Recommend upgrading to soft start for reduced starting amps and extending compressor life. Also recommend surge protection. Went over benefits of Home & Budget. Homeowner opted to replace UV bulb today. System cooling when I left.

Tune up 20 delta in heating with heat pump Changed filter Capacitor in tolerance Recommend float switch and House panel surge protector Water heater just about 10 years and replaced anode rod himself not that long ago System is working just fine, uv bulbs are on and functioning Thank you for choosing Comfort Experts, have a great day
Today I've finished up the work. I installed the soft start last time I was here and today I installed the new OEM inducer motor.
Today I looked at both heat and cooling. Although the system test in tolerance for deltas it has some issues. Concerns 1 dirty duct work 2 high inrush 3 wore out contactor 4 wore out inducer motor If your not thinking about system replacement I recommend adding soft start and replacing component's and cleaning duct work On this job I tested the system in cool and heating. The system test in tolerance as far deltas. But she is not ready to replace and wants to clean the duct first. I'm also adding a new soft start and ordering a new inducer motor. Pausing call untill inducer motor comes in . Shes having ducts cleaned this 29th at 10am
Level 3 36k heat pump horizontal $16,900
I completed a tune up on the system and noted a couple of things in the attic the installation level is low which is can affect heating and cooling efficiency the for the outdoor unit, there is a high in rush current and a suggested adding a soft start or compressor saver to help with that the homeowner mentioned they'd like to wait on making any changes for now
