Upon arrival for service on 8 year old system it was off. Inspected system. Found low voltage fuze blown. Replaced fuze. System came on and cooled. Noted system not cooling appropriately. Inspected outdoor unit. Found refrigerant pressure off and system very dirty. Informed customer of timeline to clean and test unit. Left system on and cooling.

Arrived for system eval - raining Condenser control board showing code for locked rotor Installed hard start kit Tightened down high voltage connections Updated system Reset System functioning Cooling house at exit

2021 new system straight cool with gas furnace is in great condition system is really clean and ready for cooling.

Adam J.
Completed my thoughrough inspection, the indoor unit was inspected and found all connections are on properly. I would advise installing a treatment strip to bleach the water as it passes into the pipes. The outdoor unit was inspected and found all connections are on properly. I would advise installing a home surge protector because your main breaker is on the outside and a home surge protector will protect your application from unwanted power surges. I would also install a compressor saver to lower the amps when your compressor starts. Membership and treatment strip

Jhorden P.
Install 36k upflow gas keep current filtration 5/9/23 Jhorden P- Cooling wasn’t turning off due to scheduling on thermostat . I reprogrammed thermostat to have scheduling turnt off, cycles turn off and on as they should when satisfied with set temperature.

Blake B.
Tech arrived for a lifetime PandL membership warranty service call. Upon arrival it was 80 degrees in the house. The furnace control board was recieving low and high voltage. The thermostat was not sending a call for fan or cooling. The thermostat was adjusted and the system regained functionality. Capacitor was within specs. The system was functioning upon departure with a 20 degree Delta.

Upon arrival found system not cooling. The issue is that the system has a refrigerant restriction at the indoor piston. The piston isn't letting freon flow correctly and it's impossible to tell what the freon pressures are. To fix this we would need to remove the freon from the machine and replace the metering device. Then we would add a full system's worth of freon. However, this can't guarantee that their poor compressor would survive much longer considering the restriction and the stress it had put on the compressor. Told customer the cost of repairs to replace the piston and add refrigerant. They want to talk to a comfort advisor about replacement of the 2015 condenser and getting a new piston while the install crew is installing it.

upon arrival for tune up on 10 year old Goodman heat pump system it was on and cooling. Inspected outdoor unit. Compressor amp draw within unit specifications. Fan over amping. Capacitor within tolerance. Refrigerant pressure good. Inspected indoor unit. Plenum leaking air. Blower and coil have dust buildup. Drain line clear. Recommended sealing plenum and replacement of fan motor. Customer agreed. Left system on and cooling. Will have to return to do fan motor

Craig B.
Went to house for annual cooling tune up, checked condenser unit in cooling first, capacitor is within tolerance, compressor amps are normal, compressor saver is operational, electrical connections good. Washed off condensor coil, went to indoor unit and checked heat. Flame sensor and ignitor are fine, drain lines clear, recommended drain switch as there are no safeties on unit. Recommended pan strip to keep drain line clear, Evap coil is not corroded, electrical connections are tight, filter is ok, uv system is operational. The system is operational in heating and cooling.

Matt B.
Upon arrival found system not cooling at all. Blowing room temperature air. The issue is that the capacitor had blown on the system. This wasn't the only issue with the system though. Bio growth on indoor coil, and no surge protection or compressor saver. System had a bad hard start kit on it that wasn't letting the compressor run. Removed it from the system and customer wanted it. As soon as the system ran I plugged my gauges in to check pressures. Our delta is 10 and the system's freon levels are super low. Saturation temps of 5 degrees on the evaporator coil. Showed the customer with my leak detector the leaks in both condenser and evap coils. Customer is interested in replacement and I will be following up in a week. System was left cooling with a 20 dt as customer wanted to replace the capacitor to get temporary cooling in the house but they are aware this will not make it much longer

STU performed today, outdoor unit refrigerant levels are good at this time and the dual run capacitor is testing within manufacturer specifications. Indoor unit filter is clean and the primary drain line is clear at this time, all ignition components are functioning properly and the inducer motor is pulling proper amperage. #Solar

Blake B.
Tech arrived for rec work. The condenser top, condenser fan, and condenser fan blade was installed. With new testing allowed by installing the motor and components. It was found that the system was very low on refrigerant. The condenser/field line damage caused by the previous fans malfunction, is suspended to be the source of the loss in refrigerant. It is recommended that a refrigerant evaluation be conducted in order to locate and correct the current issue. The outside condenser was left in the off position. The customer's heat strips were tested and functional. Heat set to 70 per customer request.

STU performed today, outdoor unit refrigerant levels are good at this time and the dual run capacitor to testing within manufacturer specifications, indoor unit filter is clean and primary drain line is clear at this time. Heat strips are pulling proper amperage and the system is working as it should in both heating and cooling, recommended customer replace uv bulb to keep ultra violet filtration working effectively, customer purchased repair #IAQ

riley.hobson@acgenius.com
Completed ETU Told her that the wiring for her plugs needed to be redone Offered to install 2 bubble covers Showed her that her main power coming in needed to be fixed by oncor

Joel B.
#solar Did a Super Tune-up on 8 year old Amana heat pump, tested capacitor found dual run capacitor was weak replaced under P&L WARRANTY, checked filter, drain is good, recommended replacing dual run capacitor (P&L WARRANTY),a compressor saver, and replacing uv bulb, customer stated they would have to wait on compressor saver and uv bulb, refrigerant levels are good, customer verified unit was working properly when leaving

Tyler B.
When I arrived the customer told me that her power went out last night for a very short time and when it came back on the furnace started clicking, the clicking is the wet switch, I looked under the return and there is some moisture, not sure where it came from, I took apart the drain line and blew through it and it is clear, and the customer says that she has not ran the cooling in quite a while anyhow. Let her know to keep an eye out for water because I have no idea where it may be coming from but it definitely isn’t coming from the system. The drain set up for the system is 3/4 pvc into 1/2” copper, I talked with the customer about how much water is produced in the summer and how crucial it is to keep the drain line clear by treating it, offered the customer a pan strip but she declined. I also offered a complimentary energy consultation to learn way to save on utilities as well as recommending surge protection, customer declined

Arrived for STU Inducer motor is over amping and will fail Control board has many hot spots that will cause system failure Tons of bio growth in supply plenum Coil is corroded and has bio growth on it Condenser dual run cap is out of manufacturer specs and should be replaced Compressor saver kit recommended to support compressor starting amps Cst declined all recommendations and will wait to replace it when something fails Follow up set for 2 weeks

riley.hobson@acgenius.com
Went to house for stu. Checked outdoor capacitor, was within tolerance,. Checked compressor and fan Amp draw, compressor drawing high ams on startup. Recommend compressor saver, customer wants to wait. Contactor going bad, burned and pitted, changed out under p&l warranty. Checked blower and capacitor. Capacitor bad changed out under P&L warranty. Uv bulb not working, recommended replacement, customer wants to wait. Recommended wet switch to back up drain switch. System functioning normally.

Jan 10 - inside unit had heavy dust and dirt. Otherwise performed well. Air coming out of system had delta 20, was good. Outside unit had higher amperage. No rating went over max except for max LRA, 124. Cleaned outside coil thoroughly. Follow up made for February 15th for suggesting duct cleaning. System was left in working order

12/20/22 Upon arrival found system heating and cooling at the same time. They had a heat pump thermostat that we installed incorrectly. I swapped the heat pump thermostat for a straight cool thermostat. Noticed the Uv bulb was out so I recommended replacement. Customer approved me to replace the bulb. Installed a honeywell t4 1 heat 1 cool. System was left heating with no further issues found.
