Arrived for EVal System was working but customer was wondering why system wasn’t keeping up Looked at both units. Blower was super dirty and had bio growth on it, evap coil was super caked up, out side unit was super dirty and the frigerant was r22 and at 20 degrees and low. Recommend evap coil replacement, blower clean and charging system to running specs. Relayed information to customer and discussed the recommendation and about getting a new unit. Customer is busy this week with doctor appointments but would like a call back to get a comfort advisor on 4/19/24 to set up an appointment.

His house was recently built but the brand of panel has the gfci's go out way faster than normal so I talked to her about possibly separating out the gfci's so that the heat buildup will be a lot less

Customer was not on site called and customer authorized me to enter home. Tested all components all measured within ratings and specs. Refrigerant level is normal. Washed and cleaned condenser. Heavy dust composites found in return and supply plenum. Heavy buildup on blower wheel and uv light ballast is out of operation and warranty. Spoke with customer over phone before departing system's set to off. Sent customer estimates via email.

I returned and installed the iaq 200 and cleaned the blower. When I left the system was running and cooling.

This system is over due for a total break down and system cleaning. I would install a new control braod and blower motor. I would try to align the flames with the combustion chamber. Please consider all these things if you want longevity out of the system. Also system replacement is another option. In my opinion anymore money put it into this system would be a waste of money.

On arrival I installed the new April aire filter. I recomended installing the air scrubber uv system to further improve air quality and kill biological growth. I scheduled my return visit to install the air scrubber next Monday at 9. I do not have a scrubber on me and am going to do a complimentary clean of the blower and coil with his upgraded uv system.

02/19/24 Tyler s- full house is gavinized pipe. Washer shut off valve on cold side needs to be replaced. Homeowner is selling house so suggested upgrading kitchen sink.

On arrival system was running and heating producing a 20 degree delta. The indoor unit had a clean coil and a mostly clean blower. The outdoor unit passed all electrical testing but was overamping on start up. I installed a compressor saver kit and will return to install the filter upgrade. Please schedule my return visit for Monday first call. I will go to the shop to get the upgrade kit before hand.

On arrival the system was turned off. I turned the system on and off four times and the furnace ran with no issues. Based on the customers feedback he decided to go ahead and have me replace the ignitor. Once the ignitor was replaced the furnace would not turn on. I determined that the boards error code was incorrect, and once I moved the pin connector on the board the furnace turned back on and ran. I recommended replacing the board or speaking with a comfort advisor about system replacement. The comfort advisor visit is scheduled for 3-5 tomorrow.

01/13/24 Tyler S- gave 3 options for fixing the leaking hose bibb outside. They went with option 1 which was a freeze miser that will hold them through the freeze. Ultimately the faucet needs to be replaced

Igniter was crooked preventing gas hitting it

On arrival system was running and heating. The furnace ran as intended and all safety were operational. When I left the system was running and heating.

Initially flame was not lighting for first cycle furnace restarted flame lit heat blowing 113 degrees from supply. Recycled 4 times to ensure consistency all components are working and system is heating properly. Collected service fee.

Customer paid for new membership

On arrival the system was not running. While inspecting the furnace I found a number of issues. The blower wheel was excessively dirty, impacting performance and cfm. The blower capicator was far out of tolerance, and the inducer motor was running at 4.3 amps. After the furnace ran for 3 min the high limit safety turned the system off. After cooling back down I repeated this process with the blower door on and the high limit switch again shut the system off. Due to the age and condition of the furnace I recommended speaking to a comfort advisor about replacement options. The visit is scheduled for Thursday from 12-3.

Tested all components all measured within ratings and specs. Refrigerant level is normal. Customer did not have replacement filter. Recommended duct cleaning lvl1 Customer said they were not in a position to get it done any time soon. Emailed estimates.
