The Importance of a Well-Functioning Air Conditioner
Your home should be a sanctuary where you can find comfort and relaxation. A properly working air conditioner ensures that your indoor environment remains cool and pleasant, even when the temperature soars outside. Aside from the obvious comfort factor, a well-functioning AC unit also helps improve indoor air quality, prevents heat-related illnesses, and protects your valuable furniture and electronics from heat damage. And when you need to replace your old HVAC system, we'll be there to walk you through the process with options that fit you budget.
Signs of a Failing Air Conditioning System
If you are recognizing these signs early, it can save you from a complete system breakdown.
- Unusual Noises - If your air conditioner suddenly starts making strange noises, like rattling, grinding, or squealing, it's a clear sign that something is amiss. Unusual sounds often indicate loose or worn-out components that need immediate attention.
- Weak Airflow - Is your AC blowing weak or barely cool air? Poor airflow might be caused by clogged air filters, ductwork issues, or a failing compressor.
- Frequent Cycling - Does your AC turn on and off frequently? This short-cycling not only hinders your comfort but also increases energy consumption, leading to higher utility bills.
- Escalating Energy Bills - Speaking of utility bills, a sudden surge in energy costs without any other explanation could be attributed to an inefficient air conditioning system.
- Uneven Cooling- Are some rooms in your house significantly cooler than others? Inconsistent cooling indicates possible ductwork problems or imbalances in your AC system.

During inspection discovered that clog was due to sink stem coming down to deep in the drain under the sink and almost clogging the drain and we went ahead and cut the end of the stem a little and hit the line with a air compressor and also rebuilt the p trap at unit, poured a gallon of water down the drain and verified the drain was clear Spoke with customer about getting an attic tent to prevent all the hot attic air from coming into the house so that if unit ever goes off in the future it would hold the cold air in more and let the unit work less from not having to fight the attic heat
