During the service, I thoroughly examined the cooling components of the system. I began by assessing the system's performance, confirming that it effectively maintained a steady 18° superheat. I then inspected the air filter, ensuring it was clean and free of debris, which is crucial for optimal system efficiency. Additionally, I cleaned the condenser coils to remove any accumulated dirt and grime, enhancing the system's cooling capacity. These steps were taken to ensure the system operates efficiently and effectively.
During the inspection, I examined the cooling system, which was in poor condition. The refrigerant level was low, and the exterior unit was severely rusted and deteriorating. The interior unit was equally damaged, with the blower motor and coil heavily coated in dirt and biogrowth. This condition will likely result in inadequate cooling performance when temperatures rise.
Upon inspection, the smoke detector was found to be hanging down. I carefully pushed the wires back into their proper position and secured them. Next, I reattached the mounting bracket to ensure the smoke detector was firmly in place. This restored its functionality and maintained safety standards. The device is now securely mounted and operational.
I inspected both the heating and cooling systems, conducting thorough tests to ensure they were within tolerance. Both systems performed adequately, but I recommend installing a soft start kit to enhance longevity. After implementing this improvement, the system is now fully operational and ready for use.
A customer approached us seeking assistance with securing funding for a home improvement project. We guided them through various financing options, including loans, grants, and personal savings. We evaluated their financial situation and helped them create a budget. Additionally, we provided recommendations for reputable lenders and assisted in the application process to ensure they could move forward with their project.
Upon inspection, it was determined that the system was experiencing a significant drop in 410a refrigerant levels. The client expressed a desire to discuss the replacement process with a certified technician from CA tomorrow between 2 PM and 5 PM. I facilitated the communication and ensured that the appointment was scheduled within the specified timeframe. Additionally, I provided the client with relevant information about the refrigerant and the importance of timely replacement to maintain system efficiency. The client was informed about the expected duration and the steps involved in the replacement process.
Today, I conducted a comprehensive Chiller Tune-Up (CTU) on the system. Initially, I measured the subcooling, which was at 1.8 degrees. To optimize the system's performance, I added 60 ounces of refrigerant. Following this adjustment, I re-evaluated the system and achieved a superheat of 15 degrees and a subcooling of 4.5 degrees, both within the ideal range. Throughout the process, I meticulously cleaned the system components to ensure optimal efficiency and longevity. The system is now thoroughly cleaned, balanced, and ready for operation, ensuring it will perform efficiently and reliably.
For this job I performed a cooling tune up. Upon arrival the unit did not kick on outside but was kicking on inside. I discovered a failed primary electrical control unit only at only 1. I successfully replace the primary electrical control unit once a unit began to run I noted that the thermal expansion valve was not properly operating supplying a 38 superheat when normal spec limit is 5 to 15, I noted low refrigerant levels with a four sub cool one regular subcooling is between 6 to 8, I noted a very dirty blower, I noted no drain safety, I noted burnt markings on the defrost control board, I noted a large amount of air leaks on a supply plenum that was not mastic sealed. I made an estimate with all recommendations and emailed it to homeowner as requested. Homeowner requested a comfort advisor to give a replacement option scheduled for after 6:15 tomorrow. Homeowner signed up for home and budget protection plan. Thank you for choosing Comfort experts, have a great day!
For this job I performed a double system super tune-up. All refrigerant and mechanical components within the unit were working with the normal spec limits at the time of inspection. Both units are starting to show moderate amount of biological growth inside of the supply plenums. Both units are also amping over the lra rating on the data plates specified by manufacturer. I spoke with homeowner about curative options to take care of the issues that were noted today. The option between a value germicidal light and a Iaq 200. The option between a compressor saver kit and a soft start kit. I also recommended a multi system home and budget protection plan. Homeowner did not commit to any recommendations at the moment and stated they will be paying off one of the units this year and after the unit is paid off they will consider the recommendations from today. I emailed estimates to homeowner for them to have for reference. Thank you for choosing Comfort experts, have a great day!

Thank you for choosing Comfort experts, have a great day!
Came to house for plug in garage not working and got here and GFC was tripped and reset it and everything was working again but customer also wanted to take a look at a plug under the sink for the disposal and ended up swapping that out for a new one and customer is happy and everything works
For this job I performed a evaluation. I discovered a refrigerant leak on a loose txv port covered with mastic. After removing the mastic I recorded a video of the refrigerant leaking. I performed a pump down, properly sealed and tightened the txv, pulled a vacuum below 500 microns, and recorded videos of leak detection before and after repair. Refrigerant levels tested within normal limits after repair. Thank you for choosing Comfort experts, have a great day!
