Arrived for STUx2 #IAQ upstairs system very low on refrigerant and needs to be replaced Downstairs system compressor is over amping at start up and likely to fail in the near future Replaced filter Drains clear Drain switches and UV systems recommended for both CA set for 7/15 9-12 for upstairs and downstairs

Upon arrival system was in working condition. Looking at the indoor unit, all electrical connections and components are okay. Blower and coil are dirty. Blower capacitor within tolerance. Biological growth in blower and coil area. Drain system is starting to build up biological growth as well. Recommended a uv light, drain switch and drain clear and repair but client said she will tell her son to take of it. Filter was changed. Looking at the outdoor unit , all electrical connections and components are okay. Capacitor within tolerance. Cleaned unit from inside out. Refrigerant levels are acceptable. Unit could benefit from compressor saver but clients son will take care of that as well. Left system in working condition. Thank you for choosing comfort experts.

Thoroughly performed a super tune up. Dual run good, Amps within specs, furnace functioning but the blower motor leaking oil, blower cap below specs 6.5-7.5, evaporator rusted up, no drain safety, the flame sensor green/corroded and system is r22. System upgrade, customer just wanted to purchase a new blower capacitor and flame sensor. Installed both and the system is functioning properly at this time.

Upon arrival for tune up system on and heating. Inspected indoor unit. Drain line clear. Blower and coil showing growth build up. Electrical heating functioning and pulling proper amps. Inspected outdoor unit. Fan and compressor amp draw within unit specifications. Capacitor within tolerance. Refrigerant pressure good. Recommended UV system to sterilize growth within indoor unit. Customer declined at this time. Left unit on back to customer settings.

Found the blower motor was not running because one of the high voltage wires had rubbed on the mounting screw and shorted the wires until it completely separated. Repaired the wires and secured the wires so that they will not rub again. Verified system operations in heating. Left on in heating. Delta T@41°F

Performed heating tune up. Heat pump system. Indoor, changed filter. Heat strips test well. Motor in good condition. Found biological growth developing inside air handler. No overflow safety on this equipment. Outdoor, charge adequate. Amp draw in range, defrost and reversing valve functional. Capacitor testing in range. Cleaned off equipment. Client wants to speak with the builder before moving forward.
