Tech arrived at a membership tune-up. Upon arrival the customer mentioned that the last tech said not to run the heat. The notes were read and the last tech was having issues with the reversing valve after replacing a contactor. The heat was inspected and the reversing valve was functioning at this time. It was tested multiple times. The capacitor was within specs. The contactor was in working condition. The filter was relatively clean. The blower area was dirty. The primary drain was draining a little slowly. The heat strips were functioning. The Delta was a little low. The customer was informed of recommendations today. He decided to move forward with renewing his Titanium Membership. He will call back in late October to schedule a blower wheel pull and clean. The system was functioning upon departure.

Tech arrived at a service call. 1YO Lennox. Upon inspection, the contactor was turning on and off even without high voltage present. The defrost board continuously received low voltage. The connections were removed and reinserted for the pressuree switches. The resting pressures were not equalized across the compressor. The high side appeared higher than normal. The system was cycled on and off. This action equalized the pressures. Refrigerant test indicated accurate charge. This may indicate a faulty compressor. The condenser was washed as it was dirty. The capacitor was out of tolerance. The customer is going to call the manufacturer to receive the part and have us install it. Customer is aware that there will be an additional charge for installation. Customer is also going to buy a thermostat that he will have us install at a later date. System was monitored for 40 min with no errors observed. System was functioning upon departure.

Tech arrived at a service call. The customer had recently had HVAC and plumbing services performed. It was late. Upon inspection the primary drain was clogged. The secondary drain pan was full and overflowing. There was no pan drain line but there was a pan drain safety. The safety was not functioning. The drain was unclogged. The pan was evacuated. The switch was replaced. A treatment strip was added to the unit to help keep the drain system clean. The system was functioning upon departure.

Tech arrived at a service call on the upstairs 2020 Rheem system. Upon inspection the compressor was in thermal overload. The condenser coils were very dirty and the capacitor was out of tolerance. The capacitor was replaced and the condenser coils were hosed off. The system regained functionality with a 20 degree Delta. The customer decided to purchase a Lifetime Capacitor at this time. The system was functioning upon departure.

Tech arrived at a 2 system tuneup. Upstairs Trane 2004- The duel run capacitor was out of tolerance. The contactor was in working condition. The refrigerant test indicated possible low refrigerant with a 40 degree Superheat and a low 14 degree Delta. The condenser coils were very dirty and were hosed off to assist with air flow across the coils. There was no observed surge protection. The filter was relatively clean. The blower area was dirty. There was no drain safety. The coil was tested and appeared to be restricted. The blower capacitor was out of tolerance. The return register was loose at the upstairs hallway, the grill was refastened. Downstairs American Standard 2017- The duel run capacitor was within specs. The Compressor was in Thermal Overload and was not functioning. the condenser fan motor was pulling very high amperage and was rusted. Upon arrival the units were in good running condition, the uv bulb is still running but needs to be replaced for full efficiency, at the next tuneup the customer could be interested in an air scrubber. I pop it a drain pan strip in the coil drain pan to keep the drain lines clear. The outside unit was in good condition, the capacitor and compressor amp draw both tested within the acceptable range. Upon arrival system was not working, contactor is bad got it to temporarily work. Contactor needs to be replaced. Reversing valve stuck open will not allow system to go into cooling mode. Tech arrived at cooling tune-up. There was a ride along employee present. It was rainy and cold outside. Upon inspection, the capacitor was within specs. The contactor was in working condition. The condenser coils were dirty and were hosed off to assist with air flow across the coils. The system did not appear to have Surge Protection. The filter was dirty and replaced, UVV system was not functioning and the bulb appeared to be burnt. The drain system was tested, bleach was poured but steady flow was not maintained. Minor growth was located in the blower area. The customer was informed of recommendations. The customer decided to go with a drain treatment strip today. A drain form was filled out. The customer is not interested in #Solar today. The system was functioning upon departure.

Tech arrived for a tuneup. Upon inspection, the condenser coils were dirty and were hosed off to assist with air flow across the coils. There was no testable contactor or capacitor. There was no observed surge protection. The customer mentioned that he had recently cleaned the filter. The ductwork and blower area was dirty. A Level 2 Duct Cleaning is recommended. The heating system reached complete ignition. The drain system was clear and bleach was poured. The customer mentioned previous clogging issues. A dtrain treatment strip can be added to the system to help keep the drain clear. The insulation was settled. Upgrading attic insulation is recommended. 19 degree Delta. The 50 gallon gas 2007 Kenmore Water Heater was evaluated. There was a pan beneath but no piping from the pan and no pan sensor. There was no sediment trap. There was rust on the bottom of the tank. The water heater is beyond the average lifespan of water heater in this location. Repairs/Replacement is recommended.

Performed Stu, 2 year old dc inverted Lennox system operating normally, refrigerant levels in range, amps normal, filter clean. Drains are clear. Due to systems being dc inverted highly recommend surge protection, rm-1 uv bulb is rated for 2 years recommend replacing.

Tech arrived for a STU*2. Upstairs system- upon arrival the tech noticed that the upstairs system in the attic was improperly installed. The coil and drain lines were installed for vertical orientation. The filter still have the wrapper on it. The flue piping was disconnected in the attic. Flexible gas line was penetrating the cabinet. The customer said that he does use this system. This system was turned off in the attic and the gas was shutoff as well. The drain pan was rusted. The capacitor was within specs, the condenser fan motor had minor rusting. The system did not appear to have Surge Protection. Downstairs system- the filter and ductwork was a little dirty. Upon arrival the the downstairs system thermostat was set to heat on 75 degrees and the temperature showed was 74 degrees. The upstairs system could have been compensating for the downstairs system. The ignition sequence was being interupted. The pressure switch were checked and the inducer motor port was cleaned. The ignitor was functioning but the gas was not produced. Voltage was tested at the gas valve and it was getting insufficient voltage. Preston was contacted and it was decided that we will order a replacement control board as well as a pressure switch kit. The system was left in the off position at the wall switch in the attic. We will pause for parts.

Upon arrival found ignitor active with no ignition, gas valve receiving voltage and releasing gas, adjusted alignment of ignitor, burner assembly and orrifices. Successful ignition 8 times in a row. System operation is normal.

Customers email for the receipt(mcdixn711@verizon.net) upon arrival found system running and cooling. I evaluated the indoor unit found air filter dirty and changed it out with a filter provided by the customer. Tested the unit in heat and found clean combustion at the furnace. Igniter was worn and taking longer than recommended for igniter to heat up to temperature. I advised customer about replacing both igniter and flame sensor. Customer agreed to the replacement. Drain line was clean but rust was prominently present inside drain line indicating rust in coil. Blower wheel was very dirty. I recommended customer about cleaning blower wheel. Customer will have that done on the next tune up. All electrical wiring was tight inside control panel and no Burns were found. House breaker panel had no hotspots. I asked customer if he wanted me to check out the outdoor unit and customer agreed. Found contactor working properly. Refigerant levels were within target range. Dual capacitor was slow

The system was switched to heating mode and the furnace appeared to be functioning as intended with proper ignition and flame color. There was 100+ degree air coming from the supply vents.
