After CE cleaned our vents in Nov. everything was great. Due to the heat and very dry conditions this summer, our house and vents have shifted a bit. Noticed we had some mold growing on the two vents closest to the indoor unit. After the tech, Tyler, removed the vents and inspected the area, he established that the vent and duct had slightly separated causing the cold air inside and the hot air seeping in from the attic caused the mold to grow in that area. Tyler cleaned the vents and affected ceiling area, sealed up the gap letting in the hot air creating the moisture, and reattached the vents. All in about 20 mins. He explained the problem, his solution, did the work and was extremely helpful and friendly the entire time. We are very pleased with CE and Tyler for helping us out and knowing the solution to our problem.
This is the way all service companies should act…perfect!
Another great service job by our tech, Blake. Superior quality and workmanship.
The installation was quick and efficient just like Sergio said it would be. He stayed within the time frame that he initially gave me.
Alex and Jacob are true CHAMPIONS in the water heater install!!!!
Thank you for coming promptly and for being thorough!
Tyler did a great job servicing our furnace and air conditioner units. He was polite, proficient, and professional. He knew exactly what to do and completed everything promptly. He was also quite respectfu.
Thoroughly performed a super tune up, washed condenser coil and checked components. Refrigerant levels are fine, dual run within specs, contactor burned, condenser coil damaged, compressor amping really high, blower capacitor is below specs 6.9-7.5, no drain safety shut off, the the furnace’s gas flex line is out of code, return ducts are destroyed, supply plenum insulation falling off and the system is R22. Due to age and efficiency, recommended upgrading to something a lot more efficient. Customer is going through his home warranty.
Completed tune up. Outdoor unit capacitor in tolerance. Refrigerant level good. Fan and compressor pulling normal amps. Indoor unit blower wheel clean. Drain clear. Changed filter. Coil has no corrosion. Downstairs system has thick layer of dust inside unit and duct system. Left estimate for duct cleaning
Did a evaluation on system, checked capacitor, checked filter, flushed drain, found the indoor unit not getting 120v,found the disconnect switch for furnace melted and cause the wire to come loose, customer stated they would replace it themselves, did AC tune up on 2 system, checked capacitors found the blower capacitor on both units weak rated at 20(5%) testing at 17, rated at 12.5(5%) testing 11,customer said they wanted them replaced, checked filter, flushed drains, recommended a membership, refrigerant levels are good, customer verified unit was working properly when leaving B
Upstairs: 10 year old Goodman gas system, replaced filter provided, system is operating normally at this time. Downstairs: 10 year old Goodman gas system, system is operating normally at this time, replaced filter provided, cleaned condenser coil.
Upon arrival system on and cooling. Inspected indoor unit. Coil and blower clean. Drain line clear. Inspected outdoor unit. Fan and compressor amp draw within unit specifications. Capacitor within tolerance. Refrigerant pressure good.
System is low on refrigerant, located leak in the evaporator coil, ordering new coil under P&L warranty
Removed supply grill and cleaned them then sealed the boot to the sheetrock
Hot water line leaking
Not an install negligence or part failure arrived to find around 8ft of the hot water line highly corroded and leaching water through the copper advised customer that it will most likely need to be replaced and that the office would call him to set up a date and time for one of our plumbers to come out and give an estimate for repairs needed
Tech arrived for a service call. Upo inspection, the unit was showing a code for Start Circuit Lockout. This was the same code given on the previous call when the capacitor was changed. This time, the capacitor was tested and was reading little to no mfd on the herm side. This time the capacitor was upgrade from a 35/5 to a 70/5 and the compressor saver was swapped. Due to it being another capacitor issue, the service fee was removed. The system was functioning upon departure. The refrigerant and delta was at acceptable levels.
