I just had my yearly electrical check up, and just a few days later, got hit with those horrendous thunder and lightning storms! The storms knocked some of my outlets and switches and appliances wacky. I didn’t want to make matters worse, so I called Comfort Experts! They sent Jake the SAME evening! Jake was even better than Dudley Do-Right! He zipped through like the MASTER Electrician that he is! One bulb actually needed replacement, the rest were re-sets. I conducted a comprehensive super tune-up on the gas furnace system, meticulously inspecting all mechanical and electrical components to ensure optimal efficiency. I identified a low capacitor and informed the customer, who attempted to contact the homeowner but received no response. Additionally, I recommended installing a UV system due to biological growth in the plenum. The customer will notify the homeowner. Thank you for choosing our services.
For this job, I arrived for a super tune-up on this gas furnace system. I went through all the mechanical and electrical parts of the system and checked for maximum efficiency. Both heating and cooling sides of the system were inspected. Customer was notified about how much air flow he was losing in his system. I offered to mastic seal the part of his unit were he was losing air and customer approved for a level 2 job. Adding on, I recommended adding a safety drain switch, I explained that it was to prevent any ceeing damage, customer also approved and job was completed. For this job, I worked on a super tune-up on this gas furnace system. After completing the tune-up and inspecting the outside condenser. I noticed that the coils have melted and on both corners of the system. I talked to the customer and informed her that the only solution is to replace the outside unit. Came to house for electrical inspection and customer had other guys there doing other work and had a bunch of stuff all blocked off and covered up so was not able to check the kitchen and upstairs and talk to customer about it and what was required and what he had and ended up finding out don't have GFCI protection in kitchen so a quote on that as well as a code to add a surge protector and separate a few bundled up neutrals and grounds as well as fixing a MC cable that is outside and that's not up to code but customer had a lot of work going on at the moment but emailed it all to him and he will reach out when he is ready to do some of it
Eval- arrived to LpCO on board but upon inspecting gauges, everything was running fine with 10 SC and 7.8 superheat Reset code and it didn’t trip again, thank you for choosing Comfort Experts, have a great day
For this job I did a cooling tune up. Deltas are good. Changed filter. Drain tested clear. Tightened electrical connections. Updated system software. Recommend adding insulation to 14”, current average is 9”. Outdoors refrigerant levels good. Electrical components in tolerance. Washed coil. Recommend surge protection. Recommend start kit to lower compressor starting amps. Homeowner declined work for today System in auto when I left.

On this job I looked at cooling and heating. Cooling has trouble getting 1 degree. I had the system running in cooling for 30 min. After I checked superheat and cooling saw a 30° super heat. The system has good airflow. And good subcool. It leads me to believe the system has a dirty evap coil. The system also has high inrush. System has air escape in the closet

During this visit I discovered an over charge systems and a bad 45/5 cap. I corrected the charge was condensor and changed cap.

On arrival compressor was not turning on due to a shorted capicator. Condenser coil extremely corroded due to dog pee. Refridgerant levels appeared unaffected at this time.

On arrival system running and cooling producing 19 degrees delta. Indoor unit drain line now flowing. Coil clean, blower dirty and furnace is heavily rusted. Condenser passed all electrical testing but compressor exceeding manufacturer red line on start up. Cust declined all recommended at this time.
Showed up for a complimentary Evaluation set by another trade House Plumbing that the AC drain line dumps into was backed up and Flooding is home Homeowner agreed to Having us Run a snake through the line clearing the stoppage verified with four gallons of hot water And a half gallon of white vinegar Homeowner also Mentioned a previous Plumbing company That he had a bad experience with Breaking a snake off in his Washing machine drain line We took a look at this and Found out we could easily remove the broken snake As well as gain access to the stoppage Allowing us a clear understanding of what's going on and what's needed to move forward Homeowner was Unable to move forward with some repairs today however he did sign up with our home and budget Protection plan Trusting us to be his HVAC Plumbing and electrical company moving forward Customer stated that we originally came out for a cooling tune-up that we were not able to Complete Due to the house Plumbing being clogged He would like
