Tech Cody arrived to customer's home and met the homeowner. When I arrived the system was cooling properly again, the homeowner said she gave it a little tap and it turned back on. I pulled the thermostat off and put it back on and after the timer the system turned on and began to cool, and I set the thermostat to off and then back to cool and after the normal delay the system turned on and began to cool. There was a 17 degree temperature split for the system and the electrical readings on the compressor and fan motor were both within manufacturer range. The only issue I found with the system was that the evaporator coil needed cleaning and the homeowner said she had her own supplies to clean it. System was cooling when I left.
Performed plumbing inspection and wrote some estimates for recommendations on the inspection. Customer said he will talk to his wife and see which ones she wants to do first and give us a call back.
Etu. System looks good. Recommended surge protection. Upgraded membership.
Upon arrival tech was shown to the package unit tech had cleaned the package unit got his sc and hs when tech when to get his inrush amps tech had gotten 130 tech had suggested a compressor saver
Tech Cody arrived to customers' home and met the homeowners. When I arrived the outdoor unit was not coming on. I diagnosed a failed primary electrical control, a spider had crawled inside the contacts and one inside the coil winding which caused the part to fail and not allow high voltage to the unit. I replaced under warranty P&L and then continued my evaluation. The refrigerant charge was within good levels, the running amp of the compressor and fan motor were both within manufacturer range, the capacitor was within tolerance and the coil was clean. I shared my findings with the homeowner and when I left the system was cooling.
2022 carrier airhandler Checked and tightened all electrical connections Customers recently changed filters Drain was clear and draining Blower motor and wheel were acceptable Evaporator coil was acceptable 2022 carrier heatpump Checked and tightened all electrical connections Dual run capacitor was within manufacture range Primary electrical unit was acceptable Refrigerant levels were acceptable at this time Fan blades and motor were acceptable Condenser coil was acceptable Washed Condenser coil from inside out Cleared debris out of unit Recommend compressor saver to reduce energy draw on start up for compressor Homeowner wasn't home, mother was home at the time
Arrived to no cool. Customer states that the system was not cooling last night and he just shut it off. Technician could not find an issue. Superheat and subcooling were acceptable. Delta t was in the proper range. All electrical connections and capacitors were acceptable. Technician washed off the outdoor coil to improve air flow and performed function check. System running and cooling upon departure.
Techs Cody and Mark W arrived to customer's home and met the homeowner. When we arrived the system was not running, the outdoor unit it was giving the error code for low pressure lock out. When we hooked up the guages we found the system to have refrigerant in it but whenever we reset the system and it turned on the suction pressure began to drop and kept dropping below 80psi. We found that the indoor blower motor was not running and the coil started freezing. The system had no fan relay installed so Mark W decided to install one on the system, while we were looking over the wiring the blower motor finally kicked on. We installed the fan relay and then turned the system back on and the blower fan turned on shortly after. We double checked the guages outside and found the refrigerant charge to be correct. The system was cooling. Per Mark W if the customer calls back with the issue then Mark W wants a new blower motor ordered for the system.
I installed a customer supplied ceiling fan
Install new fill valve and flapper and angle stop in mb No warranty due to 120psi to home. Reccomended pressure reducing valve
Upon arrival outdoor system was making loud noise Tightened screws and bolts on fan motor and sound went away Motor is operating properly and system is running efficiently
Found that the x-13 blower motor is receiving two calls at the same time. It is receiving the “fan” low speed call and the “cool” high speed call. Two simultaneous calls confuses the motor and it would only work sometimes. This technician disconnected the low speed “fan” call so the unit will only work in cooling for now. Need to return with Mark W on Monday the 26th of August for first call to further diagnose.
Upon arrival system was off customer stated indoor would blow and outdoor would not come on, after evaluation found 35/5 dual run cap had failed. Replaced Dual run cap and reset system, system came on and is running in cool mode Talked with Don S stated he will talk with Rob about the service fee.
Upon arrival outdoor system was kicking compressor on but no condenser fan motor activation Motor is getting proper voltage, I can visibly see the oil leaking out of motor Need to confirm warranty on 2018 trane and then contact cst with price of repairs so we can order the moti Trane is closed on Sunday, cannot order today
Intermittent issue with the x-13 blower motor. Seems to be loose connections at the molex plug. Tightened connections the best I could. If issue persists the motor and connections may need to be replaced. Same issue as last time. Recall on previous technician. System was running upon departure. Gave estimate to replace x-13 blower motor and to install a wifi thermostat that the customer asked about.
Replaced blade and motor. Issue resolved
Upon arrival Customer stated that the rooms would have different temps then what the tstat was reading. Upon evaluation found that the Customer has 2 others thermostats that didn't have any power. After inspection of airhandler in the attic found that the supply ducts had zone dampers but the zoning board was missing. In order for the system to work properlya zone board needs to put back in system. Also found that the drain switch had been disconnected and had been laid across the top of the unit. Primary drain is also clogged. Customer has issue with whole drain in home, has water coming up from shower when toilet is flushed, and multiple sink draining slowly possibly causing primary that ties into master sink to back up. Septic has tank light that is on. Customer says he has a plumber coming tomorrow, Recommended us to come out for his plumbing, Customer stated he will call us tomorrow.
Upon techs arrival tech was shown to the condenser and the air handler tech started to remove old condenser. Once condenser was removed tech had installed the new one once finished tech replace the txv with a new one tech had done a presser test and found txv was leaking tech fixed the leak and moved on to the vacuum once presser test passed. After vacuum had reached under 500 microns tech released the R410A. Tech noticed that the unit was under charged tech had added R410A to get desired sc and sh
Arrived for cooling tune up Washed condensor and tightened wires Delta is 17 Refrigerant is good Blower motor connections tightened and reconnected Homeowner was concerned with blowermotor having a stallout System components are in tolerance Recommended home and budget protection plan Reccomended IAQ 200 System left on cool at exit
Need to order compressor and indoor TXV
His alerts on the phone kept saying either a neutral or a phase was loose so I checked the 45 amp breaker and it was extremely loose I did tighten it up and let him know to call if it happened again
