Air conditioning repair for a residential homeowner. Inspected the A/C unit and found the condenser fan was failing. The condenser fan was replaced to resolve the issue for the customer. The customer was thankful for the service.

Descaled both tankless water heaters located in attic. Flushed lines after descale and made sure hot water was getting to all fixtures.

On arrival system was off. I turned the system on and it had a 2 subcool and a 40 superheat. I found the leak in the condenser coil. I recommended speaking to a comfort advisor about replacement due to the age of the equipment and the cost of repairs. I left the condenser disconnected to prevent further damage to the compressor.

Arrived at eval Customer stated that the system has been coming on and off I ran test and found out that the motor is pulling over the max amps Related information to customer that because it over the max the fan can do that. It will probably go out soon and I recommended changing it out. Customer wants to wait and see how much they can get out of it

For this evaluation I show up to the customer's home and you stated the upstairs unit was only blowing hot air. When I got to the condenser this unit had two capacitors one for the high side and one for the low side. The high side compressor capacitor was out of tolerance, and the low side was more than 50% out of tolerance. I replaced the high side and the system started up and was cooling. I did tell the customer that there is a likelihood the capacitor for the low side will fail due to how out of tolerance it was.

On arrival upstairs system was not cooling. I found the drain lines clogged. Once I cleared the drain lines I tested them thoroughly and they were flowing as intended. Both systems cooling as I left. Customer has a 25 by 16 by 4 filter.

On arrival upstairs system was running but not cooling. Found the dual run capicator reading 3.5 out of 40. After replacing it I found that the upstairs compressor was on the line of overamping on start up and the downstairs unit was overamping on start up. After adding compressor saver kits to both systems they were no longer overamping on start up. When I left both systems were running and cooling. On arrival system was off. I turned the system on and began my evaluation at the outdoor unit. I found a subcool of 8 and a superheat of 15 well within the design pressures. Compressor, fan, hard start kit and capicator passed all electrical testing. Moved to indoor unit and found the primary drain line clogged. I cleared it and tested functionality and it drained with no issues. When I left system was running and cooling

This is a 2 ton r22 system with very low system pressure. The home onwer has had many companies come out to give him a price on Evap and condensor replacement. He's already replaced a 5ton complete system. Prices on replacement are not cheap he currently has home warrenty which is capable of making a repair and should honor there agreements. The system could be repaired by identifying the leak and brazing it closed or replacing what is leaking under home onwer warrenty. The home owner has gathered as much information about fixing these issue between us and other companies. He's also made it clear he's not making any repairs thruogh us or anyone due to prices. The system is freezing up and will only cause more issues and this is something he understands as well.

Arrived onsite customer had a main line stoppage of sewer system. Went ahead and blew line out with blow bag to clear the line. Tested after repair was made everything working properly.

Attempted fraud, do not use this service provider or it’s technicians or supervisors. I spoke with both after completion of service. System check found capacitor was failed. Then technician said the fan motor was not working. I asked the tech if he is scamming me and he said let me show you. He went over to the Compressor and coil unit and flipped the switch and the fan motor worked fine. He was about to charge me $127 trip fee and $387 for a $30 capacitor and $800 for the compressor fan motor. The fan motor was fine and I didn’t need it to be replaced. The part number on the capacitor is “Titan HD PRCFD455A.” Look it up. My total bill was $506.40; down from about to be $1300.
Ryan was able to check the system out fairly quickly and access the problem. He’s very professional and knowledgeable.

I told the dispatch what was wrong and what part was needed. I asked if she needed the make model and serial number to get the right part. She informed me that all trucks were stocked with everything they needed. I was right about part but the technician did not have the part and it would take two weeks to get it.
