Completed my thorough inspection, the indoor unit was inspected and found all connection on properly. The blower motor has biological growth and home owner was experiencing breathing issues, the biological growth is also building up on the inside housing plate. I'd highly advise getting a UV system installed to kill it from growing and a duct cleaning to flush out any growth accumulating in the system ducts. The outdoor unit was washed and the capacititor was within rating, unit is functioning properly.

8/19/22 Upon arrival found hvac not cooling. This was due to the capacitor being blown out, as well as their compressor saver being blown out too. I replaced both the compressor saver and the capacitor and the customers signed up for copper, that way they have lifetime warranty on the capacitor. The system started up and sounded great, inrush amperage on compressor was 80 and the lock amps was rated for 135. Well under the lock amps! System was left cooling with 20dt and drain lines are clear

Indoor unit -Goodman- 1997 Cap on blower wheel - 9.57/10 lowest tolerance is 9.5 Cap on condenser - herm to center is within tolerance 44.07/45 - fan is 4.78/5, lowest tolerance is 4.75 R22 digital gauges indicate extremely low refrigerant. On a pitson at 105° outdoor should be 0-5°, this unit was over 18° superheat. Condenser fan has overheating damage. Water in the EVAP coil pan, indicating condensation drain line clog. Set a lead with Gildate for 08/03/22 at 6pm

Rent house Thoroughly performed a cooling tune up, washed condenser coil and checked components. Refrigerant okay, compressor amping very high, contactor burned up, condenser coil damaged, 2 relays on the air handler are burned, transformer humming extremely loud, Evaporator coil is severely rusted up and the system is r22. Due to age and condition of the system, highly recommended upgrading to something reliable with warranties. Customer said he will call someone he knows that’s cheaper.
