Michael came over and very quickly was able to inspect my system. He recommended installing some hardware which would drastically reduce the energy consumption required to start the system. Unfortunately we're not in the financial situation to pay for the soft/hard start system, but because of his explained knowledge... we will not be purchasing this system to extend the life of our HVAC unit.
