Opening up their main panel is is on the older side main wires are aluminum with 100 amp breaker and their meter has a disconnect of 125 as well as the can is very old it's beat up it's out of date I have talked to them about possibly replacing the can but this might also include replacing the main panel as well as the weather head by
Plumbing Eval Dig up water line in area where hose bibb is located and bring up line and install a new hose bibb for tha backyard area.
Was not able to complete full tune do to condenser not running. Found disconnect was shut off, voltage wire was completely disconnected where it comes from house dual run capacitor was weak and was not able to get a reading on herm side, indoor coil was impacted with dust dirt and biological growth, blower wheel was heavily impacted by dust dirt and biological growth. Customer stated recently moved in last homeowner never used ac system. Also stated he had an inspection on the house done and was talked everything worked as should. Left disconnect off at condenser
On arrival system was running and cooling producing an 18 degree delta. Refrigerant levels were good. The indoor unit had clear drain lines and a clean blower and coil. The outdoor unit passed all electrical testing. I insulated the vapor lines outside under warranty and signed them up for the new home and budget protection plan with their permission. Thanks for choosing comfort experts and have a great day!
Cleared kitchen drain
Ran HTU on customers unit. All Components tested within normal recommendations. Found contact relay for heating element to be rattling, and unit to be dirty. Needing full duct cleaning including coil and blower wheel. Found no other issues with unit at this time.
Zak L. and Chris G. completed annual heating system tune up.
United Cooperative HVAC tune-up rebate: Refrigerant charge - 3 out of the 4 systems have correct levels of refrigerant per manufacturer data tag. The one that is compromised is a 2007 Lennox gas furnace with refrigerant leaks detected in evaporator coil upon inspection. A solution has been presented to homeowner. Blower motor/wheel - Blower wheels have been check for dirt dust and debris. A solution has been provided to homeowner. Air Filters - all filters have been replaced. Evaporator coil (A coil) - 3 out of 4 evaporator coils are clear of any dirt dust and debris. The 2007 Lennox system was found to be leaking refrigerant. A solution has been presented to homeowner. Per my visit today, I've inspected all 4 units. Washed coils thoroughly and inspected all components. The 2007 Lennox gas furnace
Arrived for AH C wire missing from air handler field wiring Wired in c wire from thermostat to air handler to provide consistent power to thermostat since the batteries don't make solid contact System runs fine Left in heating House is for sale
During inspection verified that system was working properly Spoke with the gentleman watching the house for Mr Vincent while he was out and let him know that everything was working properly and that the main thing I would bring to Mr Vincent is a surge protection for either the units themselves or for the whole home Emailed customer estimate so he could talk to the customer about it and see if he wanted to move forward with it Left customers house with system operating properly
During inspection verified that system was working properly Customer also stated that he had a upstairs system that only operates in cooling Spoke to customer about blower wheel cleaning with a UV germ light or either a level 2 duct cleaning, customers wanted to think about everything first before committing to anything Left customers house with system operating properly
Tyler L completed an electrical evaluation I have found through talking with Mark that one of the elements is presumably bad I have sent Mr Mark pictures of this element he said that he could get the gentleman a price for a new one and about 3 days in the meantime I sent him an estimate for a new wire run cuz the number 10 on his tankless water heater was too small His electrical panels are also both square d the smaller sub panel is what is feeding his tankless water heater which it only has two breakers both of which are 40 amps one is being fed by a number 10 and the other one is being fed by a number six
Check water heater 198v to heater needs 240v Setting electrical tech to come out
No faults found system was on and heating when I arrived customer was clearly confused with tstat coached him on how to maintain the temp within his home.
Performed htu, system operating as should, while system is running in heating, refrigerant levels look good, amps, normal, defrost is operational, cleaned condenser coil, heat strips functional.
Michael S. completed heating system service call.
System was on and heating properly when I arrived attempted to recreate fault customer explained no such faults are apparent at this time. On and heating properly upon my departure.
Outdoor board locked out on high pressure. Changed filter manual reset board and ran system for 20 plus minutes to try to recreate fault could not recreate fault. System on and heating properly. I believe the filter could have been the cause.
On arrival system was operating normally. Unit produced a 20 + degree delta from heat pump and the heat strips operated normally. The blower motor ran and shut down as intended. When I left the system was running and heating.
On arrival the system was turned off. I turned the system on and it produced a 30 degree delta from 41-72 degrees. I found one of the two heat strips not turning on due to a faulty heat sequencer. I am pausing the call as the service fee is to be paid from his card on Friday!
After arrival, we disconnected the water from both the city meter as well as the customer's home and began to trench for it to be ran in. After the trench was dug up, we laid the new pipe inside the trench and then ran it underneath the home to connect onto the existing water line. After it was connected there we insulated the exposed line under the home and then started to bed the line. Once we had the water on and it was fully tested with no leaks. We started to backfill the trench and I started to install the panels back on the home. After that I collected the final payment for this job and took photos. thank you.
Alec G and Aaron W completed heating system diagnosis.
Brock S. completed a free second opinion diagnosis of the heating system.
