For many people that need an AC and heating repair, it can come as a surprise. It may feel like one day you were comfortable in your home and going about your daily schedule, and the next you wake up sweating and wondering what went wrong. The next steps you take are going to be crucial because the HVAC company you go with will make a big difference in the longevity of your unit and the experience you have.
Here are a few things that you should expect from a Crowley, TX , air conditioning and heating repair company:
You would be surprised how many people will claim to be able to repair your HVAC unit, only to find that they don’t have the proper certifications to perform the job according to the laws. In the same vein, some companies won’t provide you with technicians who have experience with the many different units that are in the market today. You want to bring in a company that knows how to give you quality installations that provide energy-efficient solutions to save you money on your bills as well as future repairs.
It can be hard to fit an air conditioning service into your day. The best companies know that your time is precious. Finding a company that is prompt in their services and shows up on time will make sure that you don’t skip a beat – and the interior temperature of your home won’t either.
While you don’t always want to hear that there is something wrong with your AC and heating unit, you do want the person who is explaining it to you to be friendly and clear. Knowing what to expect will help take the stress off because you’ll know when the AC and heating repair will take place, as well as how long it will take to get you back up and running. Plus, you’ll be speaking with the company again and don’t want to dread communicating with them because they are difficult.
Matt was professional, informative, and worked hard to get this done… and done right! While membership is not financially feasible for us now (we already have a locked in 2 year service contract with the folks that installed our HVAC), it is in our future.
From the very first call to the technician’s visit, Comfort Experts was outstanding! Autumn made an incredible first impression—friendly, helpful, and truly set the tone for the entire experience. When Daniel Andrade came out, he exceeded our expectations. He was friendly, professional, and, most importantly, honest—qualities that are hard to find these days. My wife and I were so impressed that we signed up for the membership because we don’t want to work with anyone else moving forward. Comfort Experts has absolutely earned our trust, business, and loyalty. Thank you! — Daniel
Alex and Joe have worked diligently to make sure my heating and A/C needs were in top notch order. Highly recommend this company for all heating and cooling needs.

Needed a board replaced because of a leak in bathroom plumbing.Jerred did a great job of replacing it!
Had a leak in bathroom drain. Mike quickly found the problem and did a great job of fixing it
We were very dissatisfied with our recent service call- the technician reported that there were several issues with our unit, including an expansion valve, reversing valve, and coolant, totally over $3k in repairs. Even suggesting a new unit might be a better option since we were going to be 3 grand in on repairs. However, what he was reporting did not match the issue we were having with the water safety device. We contacted another company for a 2nd opinion, they had a technician here within hours of yours leaving and reported none of those issues, even stating all the test came back within normal ranges, pressures were spot on. Your company advertises to be honest with consumers and that your technician are not paid on commission, this is the exact opposite of our experience.
Michael did a great job except the issues with the system were above his pay grade so he called the big guy to look at it . Hopefully it won’t be anything major !!
Alex and Keynan were the best! They worked in the pouring down rain but they kept plugging along and got us up and running They were the best!

Colby was literally one of the best people ever! He had such a great attitude and made this experience amazing. My daughter was asking him a million questions, and he took it with such kindness. He truly felt like part of the family by the time he left.

Garrett was a friendly guy and very knowledgable. He explained things in a way that I could understand. I would recommend him to others.
He did a great job and gave me a few things to think about. Thank you
Brock Stokes was the technician along with an employee in training. Both were very friendly, informative and proffesional. They were able to quickly locate the problem and make the fix. Will definitely go with the company again for future needs.
I love how professional and courteous this company is. They are very honest and will not steer you wrong.
Kellen showed up wearing book covers and was extremely polite. He didnt mind explaining things sometimes a couple of times until I understood what was going on with my HVAC. Sean was also very knowledgeable and I enjoyed them both. Will call them back in the future, if needed.
Electrical was thoroughly checked, with expert observations! AC unit quality was later thoroughly checked by technician 12. The unit was found to be operating very well. We completely agree with the assessment, and we appreciate having the quality inspection. We are pleased with the unit and the company!

Upon arrival, I inspected the non-functional plug and found it had only half the required voltage. Recalling a previous visit, I checked the GFCI in the garage, where I had replaced a few units. I discovered a broken black wire on the back of the GFCI, which must have broken off after testing the plugs. After fixing the wire and resetting the plug, everything started working. I explained the benefits of a new membership to the customer, but they chose to remain with their current plan, expressing satisfaction with the service provided.
I thoroughly inspected and tested all electrical components, ensuring they were functioning properly. The amperage draws were within acceptable limits, and the freon levels were optimal. The temperature split was balanced, and the system's drains were clean and clear. The condenser was free of debris, and the filter was replaced as needed. Additionally, I verified that the heating system was working correctly. The unit was fully operational after the service. I also installed an Easy Start system to enhance the system's efficiency. Furthermore, I updated the customer's credit card information for future payments and collected payment via credit card today.

I provided a comprehensive assessment and quote for a four-ton heat pump installation in the downstairs area. This involved evaluating the current system, determining the appropriate model, and detailing the installation process. The quote included parts, labor, and any necessary permits. I ensured the customer understood the benefits and efficiency improvements of the new heat pump.
I thoroughly inspected and serviced the entire system, ensuring all electrical components were functioning correctly. The amperage draws were optimal, and the freon levels were balanced, resulting in an effective temperature split. Drains were meticulously cleaned and cleared, and the condenser was free of debris. The condenser filter was replaced, and the unit's electrical systems were checked for any issues. Additionally, the heating elements were tested and found to be operational. Both the condenser and foam insulation were in excellent condition, ensuring the unit operates efficiently and reliably.
Upon evaluation, I identified the issue with the unit shutting off during operation. After reviewing the homeowner's video, I ran the system and discovered it was reaching high pressure. I cleaned the outdoor unit and adjusted the refrigerant charge, improving subcooling from 30 to 12. The system ran smoothly for over 20 minutes without further issues, ensuring efficient cooling. Thank you for choosing our services.
Upon inspection, the air conditioning unit was not functioning correctly. After diagnosing the issue, I identified a faulty dual run capacitor. Leveraging my expertise, I replaced the capacitor with a new one covered under warranty. Post-replacement, the unit was tested and is now operating efficiently. The customer was pleased with the resolution and did not incur any charges for the repair.

Switch 2 light fixtures job completed
Today I discovered a leak in the system. I know this because I replaced the filter dryer outside no long ago. System was working fine. After giving the system a look the dryer is not leaking and the outside shows no signs of oil any where. I was able to take a pic of of the evap coil. It shows signs of rust biogrowth have to imagine the leak is in there. Without out doing a leak search I won't be able to say for certain. Home owner isn't able to make a decision right now. I will let him call me back. We should Leak search cost is 299. Then talk about what comes next could be evap coil replacement.
Gave quote for 2 light fixtures and membership wife will be home and has questions
Had to set charge when coil was installed it was still cold outside charge now set and cooling properly
Came to customers house to look at putting up fan that customer had bought and came here and gave quote to do the work as well as doing the work with the membership and explain to them about the discounts and everything else that comes with customer had called her husband to talk about the membership but husband was not interested in it at the moment so they did not go with it but did want to do the work still
For this job, I worked on a super tune-up on this gas furnace system. I went through all the mechanical and electrical parts of the system and checked for maximum efficiency. Both heating and cooling sides of the system were inspected. I explained to the customer the benefits of our new home and budget membership and customer approved for conversion. Adding on, customer was recommended a pan strip to help prevent clog in his drain line, I mentioned that we have a promotion going on and customer approved. Compressor saver estimate will be sent to customer, he mentioned he will save some money and then he will call us back. Thank you for choosing Comfort experts, have a great day!
For this job I performed two cooling tune-ups. I had recommendations for longevity on both units and showed homeowners wear and tear on electrical components. Homeowners decided to invest in recommendations for the upstairs unit but will consider having the downstairs unit taken care of at a later time. Thank you for choosing Comfort experts, have a great day!
Level 136k gas
For this job I did an evaluation. Indoor and outdoor kicked on. 0 delta. Refrigerant is completely empty. Compressor has been running with no refrigerant and damage done will be permanent. Found that compressor wire rubbed out and melted a hole in the copper. Due to age of equipment, lack of warranty, and cost of repairs, we scheduled a comfort advisor to go over replacement options tomorrow 4/4/26 between 9-12. Left outdoor disconnect off and system off upon departure.
For this job I did a cooling tune up. Deltas are good. Homeowner doesn't have replacement filter at this time. Drains are clear. Blower has decent dirt buildup on downstairs unit. Downstairs unit supply plenum needs resealing, it is leaking air into the attic. Refrigerant levels good. Cap on upstairs replaced under PnL. Downstairs start kit has failed, recommend replacement. Recommend start kit for upstairs unit. Recommend cleaning ducts. Went over benefits of Home & Budget Homeowner declined all recommendations Systems cooling when I left.
Today Ive returned to install new: Line dryer Contactor Cap Soft start Condensor washing System is now back online. Home onwer needs a new filter
Turned back to service
On this job I I discovered a clogged filter line dryer and a winning contactor. The system is experiencing high in rush amps putting heavy load on the contactor and clogging up line dryer as compressor winding bits break off due to high in rush. Fan motor remove heat evenly. Condensor is dirty cashing high head pressure ******System may need recharge on 410a but won't be home clear untill line dryer is replaced. ****** Recommend replacing contactor adding soft start and new line dryer new fan motor and condensor cleaning 🧹 🧼 Bigger system turns on with a load bang. I'm not here to look at him but he's going down the same path from the sound of it. He's set for 915 am with CA tomorrow
For this job I performed a super tune-up. Cooling and heating components were working within normal spec limits at the time of inspection. I noted the unit does not have a drain switch installed I recommended installing one as an extra measure of protection against water damage if there is a clogged drain and I also recommended installing surge protection to the unit outside due to upcoming raining season to prevent any expensive repair cost if there is a power surge. Homeowner did not commit to any work, no further suggestions were made. Thank you for choosing Comfort experts, have a great day!
For this job, I arrived for an evaluation on this heat pump system. I turned on the system and the indoor unit was running but the outside was completely off. I opened the system up, and it was throwing me a c4 code, I checked the components and the compressor saver was zeroed out. Compressor saver was replaced and unit started running again. Thank you for choosing Comfort express, have a great day!
Came to customers house for electrical inspection and house was made in 2020 and looks really good house has solar on it and all of that was tied and correctly and done right also had surge protection and GFI breakers and afci breakers and GFI protection everywhere needed in the house also had good smoke detectors that were all working and we're only 6 years old did not have anything wrong or nothing not working but did talk to customer about swapping out some fans in house whenever they are ready to add the fans
For this call I perform two super tune-ups. The downstairs unit had a blower motor that was not operating at the time of arrival. The unit had a completely frozen evaporator coil. I noted three immediate issues. There is a damage burned wire, a damaged primary electrical control unit, and a dysfunctional fan relay. I suspect the reason the unit froze is due to a dysfunctional blower motor. Homeowner is going to wait for the first to call back to have recommended work done. Left open estimates for duct cleanings and duct walking both units. No further suggestions were made, thank you for choosing comfort experts, have a great day!
