Recent Work
Arrived for eval Customer stated the unit was cooling or turning on and it’s been a week Ran test and the outdoor cap is bad, breaker at the breaker box was bad and the system was low on refrigerant Let customer know and she didn’t want to do the cap if she has to replace but okayed the breaker Switched breaker and the system came on The system is left off due to low refrigerant and the cap not being replaced today. Customer will call to have a comfort advisor come out due to being busy today Also let customer know she won’t have access to unit because she denied the cap and we don’t have refrigerant to give her either.
On arrival condenser not receiving high voltage. Found the contactor burned and high voltage wires leading into it burned as well. Replaced contactor and high voltage wires/whip. When I left system was running and cooling with no issues.
Arrived at customer home he said he was having some low pressure issues. Found prv valve inside wall tested water pressure at hose bibb was 80 psi. Left some estimates for the homeowner some recommendations. Customer said he would call us if he wants to get anything done.
Electrical to plumbing Need a plumber to come check out his outside water pressure, he says it's very low but inside the house it's all good
For this cooling tuneup I inspected the air handler and condenser. For a 12 year old system all equipment was measuring within manufacturer specs and running well. The customer stated a few days ago the air handler stopped running but the outdoor was still running. I didn't find any obvious reasons why this would be as refrigerant levels were good and the drain line wasn't backed up.
07/13/24 TS- left waterheater, ignited at first but the burner only held for 6 sec before dieing out and I couldn't reboot it again. The right waterheater booted up and is on when I left. Both waterheaters need their T&P replaced. The right T&P didn't open and the left one got stuck. The right tank feeds into the left waterheater so in order for them to get any hot water, they would have to use up the left tank first. Extra fee with installing because it's in an attic space. House hold of 3 is small enough to downgrade to a single tank. They currently are on 1 tank anyways with how it's hooked up.
Arrived for eval Customer stated it was working earlier Ran test and the cap, compressor saver, filter, and refrigerant all look good. Replaced drain switch under warranty System running before I left
Plumbing inspection Downstairs hall bath lavatory pop up assembly is leaking when ran Older plumbing around home with faucets and shut off valves All toilets are in good condition at this time 2 water heaters in attic on opposite sides of home both newer Rheem models with no leaks. Pressure tanks are present Replaced pool bath pop up assembly.
Tyler L. completed an electrical service call.
She replaced the batteries in the thermostat and didn't push the thermostat all the way against the wall.
Electrical rec work completed Electrical tune up completed Need Ian to perform a plumbing tune up anyday before the 23rd and if Ian can't do it Mark w
I will need to return tomorrow first thing to install a new light in her driveway also need to ask Mark about her tune ups
Tested all components all measured within ratings and specs. Refrigerant level is normal. Washed and cleaned condenser. Washed filter.
Tech arrived at a service call. Upon inspection, the system was functioning. The filter was dirty and replaced. The contactorless board was showing no errors. The condenser coils were dirty and hosed off to assist with air flow across the coils. The electrical was tightened. The capacitor was within specs. The system was functioning upon departure.
4/9/24 Me and Mark W will be returning on Tuesday the 16th to install two new boxes and trench on the side of her house or her fountain wiring
The service fee is not applicable is this is something that I have already addressed and me and Mark Watkins will be returning on Tuesday the 9th to run new wiring from the house to a small outside underground box the conduit coming from the house is 3/4 and coming out of the box is half inch flex
Tech Cody arrived customer's house, I meant Mrs Ready and she directed me inside to the thermostats and then showed me the attic access to the indoor units. She told me about her concern for some hot and cold spots in the home, from my inspection I found that to remedy this all we had to do was adjust the dampers on the supply vents. I started my inspection with the indoor unit for the downstairs, first thing I noticed when I opened up the unit was microbial growth inside, the homeowner did not have a filter for me to replace the old one with, the blower wheel look clean, and there was corrosion on the indoor coil. I then moved over to the indoor unit for the upstairs, again the first thing I noticed when I opened up the unit was microbial growth inside, the blower wheel look clean, the filter was in need of replacement, the evaporator coil was heavily corroded and also had microbial growth in between the fins. I showed Mrs ready the microbial growth inside the units before heading out
I found out why the fountain would trip after a minute of being on and by turning the lights on at the same time, the outside electrical box was filled will water so I vacuumed it up and it works perfect but the box most likely needs to be replaced
Tested all components all measured within ratings and specs. Refrigerant level is normal. Washed and cleaned condenser. Changed filter. (Claim information) Condenser pad is cracked due to a recent storm reducing structural integrity eventually will lead to sag and cause potentially condenser and compressor damage/failure. Recommended air quality repairs. Water heater flush was done today. Emailing estimates to customer.
Arrive for STU All components were working and in tolerance Recommended pan strip and a surge protection for indoor unit. Customer at this time denied pan strip and surge but updated his membership.
Tech arrived for rec work. The AprilAire 210 upgrade kit and filter was installed. The customer was given filter reorder information and options.
Tech arrived at a membership tune-up. Upon inspection, the capacitor was within specs. The contactor was in working condition. There was no observed surge protection. The filter was dirty and replaced. The ductwork and blower area was dirty. The heating system reached complete ignition. The Delta was within range. The customer was informed of recommendations today. She decided to move forward with installing an AprilAire filter upgrade kit and a drain treatment strip. The treatment strip was installed today and we will order the 16*25*4 AprilAire upgrade kit. The system was functioning upon departure.
Tech arrived at a membership tune-up. Upon inspection, the capacitors were within specs. The refrigerant appeared to be low. The contactor was in working condition. The drain was clear and vinegar was poured. There was growth throughout the system. The blower area and coil was dirty. The indoor coil was severely rusted. The customer was informed of recommendations today. He has a friend in the industry and will have him review information. The system was functioning upon departure.
