Ian was a true blessing today! Im a New homeowner and only been in my home since April. So it was a huge surprise that i was having issues with my toilet backing up into my tub! Recently I had a great referral from Angies list and decided to do the same to find a plumber. Comfort experts were the first to call and Rebecca was extremely helpful in setting appointment. Within the hour I had a knock on my door and was greeted by Ian and his personable smile! Although I was hesitant to proceed after the quote Ian assured me that he was knowledgeable and his integrity spoke volumes! He treated me like a human being first and customer second which confirmed I made the right choice in moving forward with him completing the repair. Furthermore, Ian kept me informed with exactly what he was doing and completed the job in under an hour. In speaking to him I found out he was a Veteran which further explains why I absolutely love this guy! Ian you ROCK and I really appreciate you!

This morning, I addressed an issue with an air conditioner that had stopped cooling. Upon inspection, the problem was traced to a failed fan motor. I replaced the faulty motor and conducted a thorough check to ensure everything was functioning correctly. After the repair, I provided the customer with a discount following a discussion with Ryan. The system is now operational, maintaining a 17° temperature split, ensuring efficient and effective cooling.

Upon arrival, I conducted a thorough evaluation of the system. The temperature split was within acceptable limits, indicating efficient operation. However, the customer reported a gurgling noise emanating from the line set. After careful inspection, I identified the need for a slight refrigerant adjustment. By adding a measured amount of refrigerant, I successfully eliminated the gurgling noise, restoring the system to optimal performance. The customer was informed that while the system is currently functioning, it is nearing the end of its service life. She is in the process of saving for a replacement when needed.

I conducted a thorough evaluation, inspecting all low and high voltage points within the unit. I checked refrigerant levels, verified the delta, examined the capacitor, and measured running amps. No significant issues were found. After tightening and inspecting all wiring connections, the unit operated within normal parameters. Potential causes for the previous malfunction could include a power surge or loose wiring. Homeowners should monitor the unit and contact us if problems recur. Thank you for choosing Comfort Experts.

I arrived on-site to address the outdoor unit's thermistor issue. First, I carefully removed the old thermistor, ensuring all connections were safely disconnected. Next, I installed the new outdoor thermistor, making sure it was securely attached and all connections were properly made. After installation, I tested the unit's operations to confirm everything was functioning correctly. The system came on as expected and is now cooling efficiently. Additionally, I took the opportunity to change both media filters, ensuring optimal air quality and system performance. The job is complete, and the system is running smoothly.

Upon arrival, I conducted a thorough diagnostic to identify the issues with the customer's system. It was determined that the refrigerant levels were lower than optimal, and there were leaks in the straighter valves. After discussing the findings, the customer opted to replace the faulty straighter valves. I proceeded to carefully replace the defective components, ensuring all connections were secure and correctly installed. Post-installation, I refilled the system with the appropriate amount of refrigerant. Finally, I conducted a series of tests to confirm that the system was functioning correctly and efficiently. The customer was satisfied with the results, and the system is now operating as intended.

During the evaluation, I identified a failed capacitor in the customer's system, which was causing operational issues. I explained the situation to the homeowner, emphasizing the importance of addressing this problem to ensure the system's reliability and efficiency. After discussing the potential solutions, the homeowner opted for an upgraded Hardstark kit to enhance the system's performance. I guided her through the benefits of the new kit and completed the installation, ensuring everything was functioning optimally. The homeowner expressed her satisfaction with the improved reliability and thanked us for our expertise.

During the evaluation, I discovered that the evaporator coil had frozen into a solid block of ice, obstructing airflow. To address this, I instructed the client to allow the fan to run continuously, enabling the ice to thaw naturally. This process ensures the system resumes normal operation and prevents further ice buildup. The client was informed about the importance of regular maintenance to avoid such issues.

I conducted a thorough evaluation of the system, confirming that both indoor and outdoor units were operational but not generating the expected temperature difference. Upon checking refrigerant levels, I discovered they were low. I initiated a leak search and identified a leak in the evaporator coil. The homeowner, who is responsible for parts, will order the necessary replacement part. I will return to complete the repair once the part is available.

Upon inspection, I discovered that Gabriel had overlooked checking the fan rotation during the motor installation, leading to overheating and a tripped switch. After correcting the fan rotation, the unit functioned properly. To ensure the issue was fully resolved, I tested the system thoroughly. Fortunately, no charge was applied for this correction, as it was a result of the initial oversight.

During the service, I identified a faulty dual run capacitor and dirty condensing coils as the root causes of the unit's malfunction. I replaced the defective capacitor and meticulously cleaned the condensing coils to ensure optimal performance. Despite these efforts, the unit was still not functioning correctly. During the evaluation, I identified an issue with the dual run capacitor, which was out of tolerance. Upon returning home, I presented the homeowners with options to replace the capacitor, including a lifetime warranty, a one-year warranty, and a one-year warranty with or without a membership. They chose the one-year warranty option with a dual run capacitor. After replacing the component, I noticed a 17° split in the unit. I ensured all electrical components were functioning correctly and recommended installing a soft start for the longevity of the outdoor unit. Thank you for choosing expert service. Have a great day!

Upon arriving, I conducted a thorough evaluation of the unit, which displayed a 04 error code on the circuit board, indicating an issue with lock rotor amps. I began by inspecting the compressor saver, a critical component for maintaining proper operation. After testing, I found that the compressor saver was outside the acceptable tolerance range. Given that the part was still under warranty, I replaced it with a new one. The replacement part comes with a lifetime parts and labor warranty for active members, ensuring long-term reliability. The unit is now functioning correctly, and I provided the customer with detailed information on maintaining their membership for continued warranty coverage. Thank you for choosing our services. Upon arrival, I addressed a frozen coil by allowing it to thaw completely. I then checked the refrigerant pressures, noting a subcooling of 5-7 degrees and a superheat of 10 degrees. The system uses an ECM blower motor with a TXV. I confirmed that the filter drier was not restricted and took the subcooling reading after it. There was no indication of low refrigerant. The issue likely stems from airflow or the expansion valve not functioning as intended. Although I couldn't pinpoint the exact problem during the visit, I suspect the blower motor might be the root cause. Thank you for choosing our services.

Upon receiving a call for assistance, I promptly arrived at the site to address an issue with the cooling system. Upon inspection, it was determined that the malfunctioning component was the 45 mfd capacitor. I proceeded to replace the faulty capacitor, ensuring all safety protocols were followed during the process. The replacement was completed under both parts and labor, and I took care to properly dispose of the old capacitor. Following the replacement, I conducted a thorough system check to ensure everything was functioning correctly. The cooling system is now fully operational and ready for use.

Upon arrival, I assessed the situation where a small metal cup had been accidentally dropped into the disposal. To address this, I carefully removed the disposal unit to access the obstruction. Given the nature of the blockage, I opted to drop the disposal to safely extract the cup. This method ensured the cup was retrieved without causing damage to the disposal or the plumbing. Please note, there is no warranty on the tubular drain or disposal for such incidents.

A customer reached out for a second opinion on their HVAC system. Their home warranty company was unresponsive. I provided an estimate for a refrigerant recharge and explained the out-of-warranty cost for coil replacement. The customer decided to proceed without the warranty company. They will contact the warranty company to cover the $1,150 deductible for the coil. Thank you for choosing Comfort Experts. Have a great day.

Upon arrival, I inspected the air conditioning unit, which was reported to be non-functional. Upon initial assessment, the system displayed no error codes, indicating normal operation. I proceeded to turn on the unit, and it responded immediately, operating flawlessly. The customer mentioned that earlier in the morning, the unit had not been cooling at all. This anomaly was puzzling, given the immediate response upon my arrival. Upon arrival, I conducted a comprehensive cooling tune-up on two gas furnace systems. I started by cleaning the outdoor condensers and checking the refrigerant pressures. Initial readings indicated that both systems were outside the expected range. I then inspected the electrical components, discovering that the capacitor on one unit was out of tolerance and the compressor saver on the other had failed. After replacing these components, I continued troubleshooting due to abnormal refrigerant pressures. I inspected the indoor equipment, poured water down each primary drain line to ensure proper drainage, and confirmed that both lines were functioning correctly. I also checked the temperature split, finding 17°F on one system and 19°F on the other, both above the recommended minimum of 15°F. The air filters were dirty, so I replaced them and inspected the remaining internal components. Upon rechecking the refrigerant pressures, one system was significantly low on refrigerant, and the cus

Upon evaluation, it was determined that the customer's system had a significant evaporator coil leak, rendering it non-functional. Although the system was out of warranty, the customer opted for a temporary repair to restore functionality before investing in a new installation. I applied refrigerant leaks to the system, which has now restored proper cooling. It is important to note that this is a temporary solution, and the homeowner is fully aware that the leak may not be permanently fixed. Thank you for choosing our services.

I conducted a comprehensive tune-up on the gas furnace and outdoor system. Refrigerant pressures were checked, revealing a potential TXV replacement need. High startup amperage was noted, with a recommendation for a compressor saver or soft start, which the customer declined. The outdoor condenser was cleaned, and the indoor system's temperature split was assessed. Four gallons of water were flushed through the drain line. Internal components were inspected, and the supply plenum was found to be inadequately secured. Despite attempts, I couldn't notify the customer of this issue.
