A total rip off
The gentleman used a sheet metal screw to remove a protective red cap on the refrigerant line instead of a special key. He checked the motor capacitor and quoted a price to replace it which is at least 10 times the Amazon equipment price which I accepted and honored. He checked the refrigerant pressure and had to call the office because he did not understand the values. He wanted to check the air filter, wanted to know when it was installed (May 2026) he wanted to install a new air filter. I insisted that an air filter could not be the problem. He added some refrigerant and got better pressure readings but not adequate. He quoted a price of about $800 for a leak test. At that, I asked the gentleman to leave and paid what I owed. Previously, the problem was a valve at the evaporator coil and it had to be replaced several times over the years. He did not act on this information but wanted to do a leak test. This firm appears to charge an excessive amount for their services. I will not use this firm again.

Knowledgeable Technician!
Adam really took the time to throughly inspect our plumbing and really spoke to what needed to be fixed in terms that made sense for folks who know little of plumbing. I appreciated his honesty and humor breaking down the rather long list of things I’ll eventually need to fix.

Ian was a true blessing today! Im a New homeowner and only been in my home since April. So it was a huge surprise that i was having issues with my toilet backing up into my tub! Recently I had a great referral from Angies list and decided to do the same to find a plumber. Comfort experts were the first to call and Rebecca was extremely helpful in setting appointment. Within the hour I had a knock on my door and was greeted by Ian and his personable smile! Although I was hesitant to proceed after the quote Ian assured me that he was knowledgeable and his integrity spoke volumes! He treated me like a human being first and customer second which confirmed I made the right choice in moving forward with him completing the repair. Furthermore, Ian kept me informed with exactly what he was doing and completed the job in under an hour. In speaking to him I found out he was a Veteran which further explains why I absolutely love this guy! Ian you ROCK and I really appreciate you!

Upon arrival, I conducted a thorough investigation into the reported odor. After careful examination, I identified the source as a leak in the evap coil. This component is crucial for the system's operation, and its malfunction was causing the unpleasant smell. Additionally, I detected another leak outside the system. Given the age of the unit, which exceeds ten years, it was not surprising to find multiple leaks. I addressed the internal leak by repairing the evap coil, ensuring the system would function properly again. For the external leak, I recommended further inspection and potential replacement to prevent further damage.

Upon arrival, I diagnosed an issue with a cooling system that wasn't responding to the thermostat's cooling command. After checking for 24v and confirming the absence of a call signal, I jumped the thermostat wires, which successfully activated the unit. This confirmed a faulty thermostat. I replaced the thermostat under warranty, ensuring the system was cooling effectively before concluding the service. Thank you for choosing our services.

I successfully installed a Level 2, 60,000 BTU gas closet unit, ensuring optimal heating efficiency. The duct system was meticulously designed and installed to provide even distribution of heated air throughout the space. I applied R30 insulation to enhance energy efficiency and maintain a consistent indoor temperature. Additionally, I relocated the outdoor unit to the back side of the house, which not only improved the aesthetics but also facilitated better airflow and operational efficiency. Each step was executed with precision, ensuring the system operates safely and effectively.

Upon arrival, I reviewed the invoice and discussed the issue with the customer, who reported a wet filter. After diagnosing the problem, I explained that the evaporator coil was frozen due to inadequate airflow. I provided quotes for a temporary motor or an OEM motor replacement, noting the OEM motor would not be available until Tuesday. The customer declined both options and opted to use window units temporarily. I recommended leaving the system off until repairs are completed. The system was turned off, and I ensured the customer understood the next steps.

Upon arrival, I found the thermostat blank and the system off. After thorough testing, I discovered a loose connection in the wiring harness to the blower motor, causing a short to the thermostat. I secured the connections and tested the unit, restoring proper cooling. If the issue recurs, I recommend replacing the wiring connections with new ones to ensure reliability. The system is now functioning correctly.

During the Super Tune-Up, I began by inspecting the refrigerant pressures, which were within the proper range. I then cleaned the outdoor condenser and examined all internal components to ensure proper operation. Next, I moved to the indoor unit, flushing about one gallon of water through the primary drain line to ensure proper drainage and checked the drain system for smooth flow. I also inspected the internal components and verified the temperature split between the supply and return plenums, which was 21°F, exceeding the recommended minimum of 15°F. I replaced the system filter and completed a final inspection of all components. Although I recommended a soft-start kit and condensate packets, the customer chose not to proceed with these at this time but did sign up for the Comfort Care Club membership. The system was cooling properly and operating fully as intended.

During my visit, I identified a burnt-out capacitor and a malfunctioning hard start kit. These components were critical to the system's operation, and their failure was causing significant issues. I promptly replaced the burnt-out capacitor and the hard start kit with new, high-quality parts. After the replacements, I conducted thorough testing to ensure everything was functioning correctly. The system was restored to its optimal performance, meeting the customer's immediate needs. Additionally, we discussed the possibility of a complete system replacement to prevent future issues. The customer expressed interest in this option and we scheduled a follow-up discussion for 3 PM today to explore this further.

Upon inspection, the fan capacitor was found to be faulty, but it was not checked due to its challenging placement at the back of the blower unit. Despite this, the fan was functioning correctly, and no charge was applied. The system was operating smoothly, and the issue with the capacitor was noted for future attention.

I successfully completed a comprehensive air conditioning service. First, I performed a thorough inspection of the unit to identify any issues. Upon inspection, I found that the system required a freon refill. I carefully measured and added the appropriate amount of freon to restore optimal cooling efficiency. Additionally, I conducted a recall on the system to ensure all components were functioning correctly and to check for any potential leaks. This included testing the compressor, checking the condenser, and inspecting the evaporator coils. The system is now operating smoothly, providing efficient and reliable cooling.

I thoroughly inspected all electrical components, ensuring they were functioning correctly. The amperage draws were within acceptable limits, and the freon levels were balanced, contributing to optimal cooling efficiency. The temperature split was ideal, and the system's performance was consistent. Drains were meticulously cleaned and found to be clear, preventing any potential water accumulation issues. The condenser was spotless, and the filter was replaced to maintain air quality. Additionally, all electrical components related to the heating system were checked and found to be working properly. I replaced the capacitor and scheduled a follow-up visit to clean the evaporator coil. The client settled the payment in full via credit card.

Upon arrival, the system was not cooling as expected. A year ago, we performed a tune-up and identified a leak in the evaporator coil, documented with video evidence. Today, I discovered the outdoor compressor capacitor had failed, likely due to low refrigerant levels. The homeowner opted to replace the capacitor and temporarily top off the refrigerant. I replaced the capacitor, and the system is now operating with a Delta of 20°. The homeowner will review the system warranty and contact us for further repairs. The homeowner also signed up for our Comfort Care Club membership. System operations were tested, and the unit is currently running and cooling effectively.

I conducted a comprehensive HVAC system tune-up, ensuring both heating units operated efficiently. I tested the heater functions, confirming both systems worked perfectly. The outdoor coils were thoroughly cleaned, as they were heavily soiled. I inspected all electrical components and checked the refrigerant levels, achieving a Delta T of 20° on both systems. Both air filters required replacement, though the homeowner will handle this. I advised resealing the supply plenums due to a thin seal and recommended installing a UV system on the unit without one to prevent biological growth. I poured 2 gallons of water down both primary drains, which tested fine. After all interventions, I verified that both systems were functioning correctly.

I successfully installed a new condenser unit under warranty, ensuring the system was fully operational. I meticulously pulled a vacuum to achieve a pressure of 348 microns, which is crucial for optimal performance. Additionally, I measured the subcooling at 7 degrees, confirming the system's efficiency. The air conditioning system is now cooling effectively. Thank you for choosing our services. We strive to provide top-notch solutions for your comfort needs.

I began by running a cable line through the cleanout to attempt to clear any blockages. Next, I replaced the lead drum trap under the home with a PVC pipe and fittings to ensure better durability and efficiency. Additionally, I replaced the P-trap on the bathtub and cleared the drain for both the washer and sink. These drains had been replaced previously, but the slope was minimal, which could cause future issues. I also checked for proper venting, which is crucial for maintaining system efficiency. It may take a few days for the ground under the tub to dry and for any odors to dissipate. I recommend replumbing the laundry and kitchen drains, ensuring they properly tie into the existing cast iron system. Please note, there is no warranty on future stoppages.

I thoroughly inspected and tested all electrical components, ensuring they were functioning properly. The amp draws were verified to be within acceptable limits. The freon levels were checked and found to be adequate. The temperature split was optimal, and the system drains were clean and clear. The condenser was meticulously cleaned, and the filter was replaced. Additionally, the electrical heat components were tested and found to be operational. A dual run capacitor was replaced, and payment was collected via credit card.

I conducted a comprehensive tune-up on the HVAC system, starting with a thorough inspection of the filters and ensuring they were clean. I cleaned the coils and tested the primary drains using 2 gallons of water, confirming a steady drain. All electrical components were checked for proper function, and the refrigerant levels were verified. The temperature differential (delta T) was measured at 20°, indicating optimal performance. I also examined the heater and overall system operation, noting that the house has low insulation, which affects temperature distribution. The homeowner mentioned that the back rooms are slightly warmer than the front; improving the insulation will help maintain a consistent temperature throughout. Additionally, I recommended installing a soft start kit on the outdoor unit for more efficient startups and replacing the current UV bulb or upgrading to a better UV system to prevent biological growth. The system is currently cooling and heating effectively.

During the inspection, I found that the water pressure was approximately 79 psi, which is within the acceptable range. The water heater, installed in 2010, was tested, and the temperature and pressure relief valve still functioned properly. Although I recommended replacing the water heater due to its age, the customer declined. I also suggested a water heater flush to maintain efficiency, but the customer opted against it due to potential risks associated with the heater's age. An estimate for water heater replacement was provided.
Additionally, I identified a leak in the upstairs bathroom toilet, which had been shut off for years. The exact issue was unclear, so I recommended removing the toilet and using a camera to inspect the plumbing. An estimate for this service was also provided.
