2018 5t trane hp attic horizontal. Found a cracked primary pan that had soaked all of the indoor units floorboards even in the electrical cabinet. Insulation on both the evaporator and blower doors are compromised, falling off, slightly blocking airflow and harboring biological growth. I popped a small hole underneath the cabin allowing drainage to drip into emergency pan. Biological growth on blower motor wire housing. Insulation inside supply plenum is compromised, pulling away and harboring biological growth. Filter replaced. Drain line clear. Ducting is strapped high which fights attic temperatures. Inrush amps on compressor exceed manufacturers specifications. Condenser coil washed. Refrigerant levels acceptable. Sat with homeowner and shared all of my video/photo evidence. Advised on the best plan of action to restore sytem to its proper function. Created estimates to reflect. We can utilize manufacturers parts warranty on cracked primary pan and reduced labor cost for

Evaporator coil clean. Blower wheel clean. Condenser coils washed. Electrical components inspected. Refrigerant levels acceptable. I told homeowners that when they get the air filter in, that I can stop by and put it in for them for a filter replacement service fee. System fully functional.

Tech Cody arrived to customer's home and met the homeowner. The outdoor unit was not coming on when I arrived. I diagnosed a failed thermostat which was not sending 24V to the condenser unit. I shared my findings with the homeowners and they wanted me to conduct the repair. Once I got the new Thermostat installed the system came on and began to run wit no issues. All the electrical components outside were operating normally and the refrigerant charge was at target levels. System cooling when I left.
Tech Cody arrived to customer's home and met the homeowner. When I arrived the upstairs unit was not cooling and the downstairs system was not cooling. I started my evaluation on the upstairs unit, I diagnosed a failed blower fan relay which did not allow the fan to turn on and caused the evaporator coil to freeze. I shared my findings with the homeowner and she decided to have me replace the relay, I conducted the repair and then the fan came on. I left the fan running to melt the ice off the coil, it was still frozen when I left. I then started my evaluation on the downstairs unit and found that the outdoor unit was tripping on low pressure and shutting off. The system has a leak and when I attempted to put refrigerant into the system I also diagnosed a restricted evaporator coil. I shared my findings with the homeowners and they wanted to talk with the builder and the company that installed the unit to see if they have a parts and labor warranty on that unit. I left the disconnect
