I have a rent house where the AC rent out. I called Comfort and got a quick response on the phone. They were out there within a couple of hours and were able to fix the problem quickly. Very grateful for that. I did have a issue with what the tech mentioned to the tenant that he should not have mentioned. I called Comfort experts and they will go over that with the tech. That shows me that they really care about their service.

Brian Serrano is the best technician I have seen thus far. He really listened to my description of the problem, took it seriously and worked diligently to resolve the issue. If I need service again, I'd like to request that he be the one you send. 05/24/23 Tyler L completed etu Rewired a hot/neutral reverse and installed 1 gfci

Mike S.
Arrived to no cool call. Blower was running but just blowing warm air. Discovered that dual run capacitor on condenser had failed. Replaced 45/5 capacitor and performed function check on system. Delta T and refrigerant levels are in range. Customer requests that the office calls him to collect payment.

Matt B.
Upon arrival found system not working. The reason being was the system's board had tripped on high head pressure. This is the customer's house but he doesn't live here so the code on the board was actually from the heating season when he wasn't present. Reset the board and the code reset. Ran system in heating and cooling mode and the system was just a touch low. No leaks, probably just undercharged from when it was installed in 2019. Customer approved adding a touch of freon (14 oz) and subcool was at 10 (TXV metering device) delta was at 20 No further issues, recommended a capacitor as the fan side was a touch low.

Steven S.
upon arrival for tune up systems on and cooling. Customer has 2012 and 2005 gas furnace systems. Capacitors within tolerance. 2012 refrigerant pressure good. 2005 refrigerant pressure low. Inspected indoor units. Blowers have dust buildup. Coils have corrosion buildup. Drain lines clear. Do to cost of repairs recommended speaking with engineer about 2005 system. Customer agreed and scheduled for Tuesday May 9th 3-5.

Performed a 2 system STU on gas furnaces, checked safety switches in heat mode, heating delta Ts were within range, gas furnaces are running as should. Customer changed filters in march, filters were clean. Checked blower wheels, blower wheels were clean, no obvious problems with the evaporator coils. Delta Ts in cool mode were within range. Drain functioning as they should. Outdoor units refrigerant levels were acceptable. Fan, Comp amps are okay, contactors are good, checked voltage drop, downstairs outdoor unit capacitor was out of manufacturer spec, talked with customer about replacing, showed customer the issue, customer agreed to replace. Installed new 40 mfd capacitor for downstairs unit. Outdoor units are running as should, units were cleaned and customer is satisfied with work.

Tyler B.
STU performed today, outdoor unit refrigerant levels are good at this time and the dual run capacitor to testing within manufacturer specifications, indoor unit filter is clean and primary drain line is clear at this time. Heat strips are pulling proper amperage and the system is working as it should in both heating and cooling. Outdoor unit pulling high amps on start up recommended compressor saver

3/22/23 Upon arrival found system heating and cooling with a 20 delta. Capacitor was within tolerance and filter was changed. Mike R.

Ryan S.
Customer hit run schedule on thermostat, drew picture of thermostat and showed her what buttons not to hit and what buttons she could press.

Went to house for Ahu on two systems. Checked upstairs indoor unit first. Changed filters on buth systems, airflow is good. Checked blower, blower clean, Checked flame sensor and ignitor. Ignitor good, recommended flame sensor. Checked downstairs indoor unit next. Electrical connections looked good, flame sensor and ignitor good. Recommended both systems get a drain switch, customer declined. Went to outdoor unit for upstairs, fan and compressor amp draw OK. One of the capacitors was out of tolerance, recommended replacement, customer declined. Went to outdoor unit for downstairs, compressor and fan Amp draw fine. Both capacitors for this unit out of tolerance, recommended replacing both, customer wants to wait. Both outdoor coils clean. Buth systems operational in heating and cooling.

Ryan S.
2 year old gas htu, system operation is normal, ignition components healthy.

Ryan S.
Found no issues at arrival, thermostat satisfied. Compressor stepping up to stage 2 when given a large demand, recommend customer not leave zones off in the future, customer also wants to try to get the fusion weld joint fixed again.

Blake B.
Tech arrived for a STU. Upon inspection, the filter was recently replaced. The ductwork, blower area, and coil was very dirty. Most of the supply ducts were Goodman Grey type ducts. These are known to be problematic and are no longer used. The flame rod sensor was scorched. The heating system reached complete ignition. The drain system was clear at this time and bleach was poured. The capacitor was within specs. The contactor was scorched, buzzin, and had rusted terminals. The coils were dirty and were hosed off to assist with air flow across the coils. The fan motor was rusted. The system did not appear to have Surge Protection. Due the age, condition, and price of repairs; it is recommended that the customer speak with a Comfort Advisor about upgrading to something more reliable with warranties behind it. Meeting set for Friday Dec23rd 12-3. The system was functioning upon departure.

Dennis C.
Bad wifi thermostat, replaced thermostat system is operating normally at this time.

Tyler B.
STU performed today, outdoor unit refrigerant levels are good at this time and the dual run capacitor is testing within manufacturer specifications. Indoor unit filter is clean and the primary drain line is clear at this time, all ignition components are functioning properly and the inducer motor is pulling proper amperage.

Had some corrosion on the panel customer was aware already

Blake B.
Tech arrived for a STU*2. Upstairs system- the capacitor was within specs. The contactor was in working condition. The fan motor had rusting. The Deltas were at acceptable levels. The filter was relatively clean. It is a 413 AprilAire filter. The drain was draining slowly. A drain treatment strip was installed. The heating system reached complete ignition. There did not appear to be surge protection on the system. The Downstairs system- the capacitor was within specs. The contactor was buzzing loudly and the terminals were rusted. This was replaced. There was a burnt compressor wire. This wire was replaced. The system appeared to be low on refrigerant and there was a very low cooling Delta. A leak search was conducted and there was oil noticed on the indoor coil. The leak detector indicated a possible leak at the bottom right corner (refer to photos). The drain system was clear and bleach was poured. The heating system reached complete ignition. The filter was dirty and replaced.

Jordan B.
Performed a super tune up, washed condenser coils and checked components. Dual run good, Amps all within specs, contactor burned but everything else functioning properly. Left system on in heating
