HVAC, Plumbing & Electrician Service FAQs

How much does it cost to replace an HVAC system in Weatherford?

The cost to replace an HVAC system varies based on factors like the size of the home, the type of system, and local labor rates. On average, a complete HVAC system replacement may range from $5,000 to $10,000 or more. High-efficiency systems and additional features can increase costs. It's advisable to obtain multiple quotes from reputable HVAC contractors, considering factors like energy efficiency and warranty, to make an informed decision based on your specific needs and budget.

Why won't my furnace or AC turn on in Weatherford?

Your furnace or air conditioner may not come on due to a broken thermostat, a tripped circuit breaker, a clogged air filter, or problems with the ignition system. Other possible causes include issues with the pilot light, bad wiring, or a damaged capacitor. Start by looking at the air filter, the circuit breaker, and the thermostat settings. In order to ensure that your heating or cooling system operates effectively, it is advised that you speak with an HVAC specialist if the problem continues. They can identify and solve the exact issue.

What are the causes when a furnace doesn't provide enough heat near Weatherford?

Insufficient heat from a furnace may result from a clogged air filter restricting airflow, a malfunctioning thermostat, or issues with the ignition system. Additionally, problems with the pilot light, a faulty thermocouple, or a malfunctioning blower motor could be causes. Inadequate insulation, leaky ducts, or issues with the gas supply may also contribute. Regular maintenance, such as changing filters and inspecting components, can help prevent these issues. If problems persist, consulting with an HVAC professional is advisable for a thorough diagnosis and effective resolution.

Addressing Common Plumbing Issues

Many households face common plumbing problems, such as leaks, clogs, and inefficient fixtures. These issues not only lead to inconvenience but also contribute to water waste and increased utility bills.

Environmental Impact

Efficient plumbing systems are the cornerstone of a well-functioning home. Beyond the convenience of a smoothly running household, optimal plumbing efficiency also translates to significant savings on water bills and a reduced environmental footprint. We understand the importance of efficient plumbing and are committed to helping you achieve it.

Inefficient plumbing can have a significant impact on the environment. Water leaks and wastage contribute to unnecessary strain on local water resources and increase your carbon footprint.

High-Efficiency Toilets and Faucets

Upgrading to enery-efficient toilets and faucets is a simple yet impactful way to conserve water. These fixtures are designed to use significantly less water without compromising on performance, helping you save both water and money in the long run.

Upgrade to eco-friendly fixtures, such as low-flow showerheads and aerators, to reduce water consumption without sacrificing performance. These small changes can make a big difference in both your water bill and environmental impact.

Say goodbye to wasteful standby heat loss with tankless water heaters. These innovative systems heat water on demand, providing endless hot water supply while reducing energy consumption. With a tankless water heater installed by Comfort Experts, you'll enjoy hot showers without the worry of running out of hot water.

Implementing Drain Maintenance Practices

Prevent clogs in your drains by being mindful of what goes down the sink or toilet. Avoid flushing non-biodegradable items, such as wipes or paper towels, and use drain screens to catch hair and debris.

Schedule routine drain cleaning to remove buildup and prevent blockages. This can be done using environmentally friendly solutions or by hiring professional plumbers for thorough cleaning services.

Leak Detection Systems

Undetected leaks can lead to water wastage and potential damage to your property. Our advanced leak detection systems utilize cutting-edge technology to identify leaks early, allowing for prompt repairs and minimizing water loss.

Water Pressure Regulation

Excessive water pressure not only strains your plumbing system but also leads to unnecessary water usage. We can install water pressure regulation devices to ensure that your plumbing operates at the ideal pressure, promoting efficiency and longevity.

Regular Plumbing Maintenance Checks

Preventative maintenance is key to preserving the efficiency and longevity of your plumbing system. Our expert plumbers recommend scheduling annual inspections to detect and address potential issues before they escalate.

The Significance of a Modern Electrical System

A well-designed and up-to-date electrical system is the backbone of a safe and functional home. From powering appliances to lighting up spaces, every aspect of modern living relies on electricity. By upgrading your electrical system, you not only improve efficiency but also mitigate safety risks and bolster property value.

Electrical Panel Upgrades

Electrical panels, also known as circuit breaker boxes, distribute electricity throughout your home. Over time, these panels may become outdated or overloaded, leading to potential hazards. Upgrading to a modern panel enhances safety, ensures adequate power distribution, and accommodates new appliances and devices. If you home is more than 20 years old, we recommend an electrical panel safety check to make sure your system isn't outdated.

LED Lighting Systems

Upgrade to LED (Light Emitting Diode) lighting throughout your home. LED bulbs consume significantly less energy than traditional incandescent bulbs while providing the same level of brightness. They also have a longer lifespan, reducing the frequency of replacements.

Enhance your home's lighting to smart solutions for unparalleled convenience and efficiency. Smart lighting allows remote control via smartphones, scheduling, and integration with voice assistants for hands-free operation.

Energy Monitoring Devices

Gain insights into your energy consumption with smart meters and monitoring devices. Track usage in real-time, identify energy hogs, and adjust habits to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Home Automation Integration

Integrate your electrical system with a comprehensive home automation setup. From controlling appliances to managing security systems, automation enhances convenience, security, and energy efficiency.

Regular Inspections

Schedule annual electrical inspections by licensed professionals to identify potential hazards, faulty wiring, and outdated components. Prompt repairs and upgrades ensure a safe and reliable electrical system.

Surge Protection Installation

Shield your home electronics from power surges with dedicated surge protection devices. These safeguards prevent damage from lightning strikes, utility grid fluctuations, and appliance malfunctions.

Whole Home Generator Installation

We understand the importance of reliable backup power, especially during unexpected outages. Whether it's due to severe weather, utility failures, or other emergencies, a properly installed generator ensures that your home remains powered, safeguarding your family and valuable electronic devices.

Standby generators are permanently installed outside your home and connected to your electrical system. They are equipped with an automatic transfer switch that detects power outages and immediately activates the generator.

Tech Cody arrived to customer's home and met the homeowner. When I arrived the system was on but shortly turned off and the thermostat went black. I headed to the indoor unit and found a clogged primary drain line the tripped the unit's float switch. This is a call back on Kellen who was here 3 weeks ago. I shared my findings with the homeowner and she wanted me to clear and treat the drain. I cleared the clog and installed a pvc union and an antimicrobial pan treatment bar inside the drain pan to help keep the line clear. System was cooling when I left.

Tech Cody arrived to customer's home and met the homeowners. The system is a 5yr old Amana packaged unit. I replaced the filter which was clogged up and recommended to the homeowners that they change the filter every 6 months instead of yearly. I checked the refrigerant charge and found it was within tolerable levels. The auxiliary motor starter was within tolerance, the primary electrical control was in good condition, the compressor was pulling 12.24 amps, the fan motor was pulling .6 amps, and I found that the compressor saver had failed. I replaced the compressor saver under warranty P&L. I shared my findings with the homeowners and explained to them the additional benefits of switching to the Home and budget protection club, they decided to convert their membership to it. System was cooling when I left. Customer requested that we book an AC tune up 6 months from now. And customer request that the membership be charged to the same card that their copper membership was on.
