I would have given a higher rate but I had to wait a whole day to get service done. That wasn’t really Zack’s fault. He and his partner were over worked the day before and couldn’t come the day before.
Our outside water spigot was leaking between the brick and the MBR wall. I called Comfort Experts of Weatherford and got service the next day. The repair was done quickly and thoroughly. Upon arrival, technician found technician found the capacitor was blown.Technician checked compressor the pressure seems to be fine. At this time technician installed new capacitor and made sure that the a c was cooling tech highly recommends ca to come outn
Upon arrival tech found the wire from the breaker to primary electrical control unit was smoked as was as burnt marks on the primary electrical control unit tech replaced both. Once wire and primary electrical control unit were replaced tech did a check up on unit
Replaced ceiling fan in bedroom. No box was used on existing fan location. Installed fan pan box to hang fan the correct way. Required by NEC.
Arrived to no power to the thermostats. Air handler with heat pump 3 zone system installed in 2013. Drain switch had failed and prevented the low voltage from powering the thermostats. Replaced drain switch and performed function check. System operating normally at time of departure. Customer has signed up for the home and budget protection plan.
Upon arrival, technician talked to homeowner and asked questions about home. Technician proceeded to grab tools and head to the air handler. Technician changed filter, took electrical readings all in range, inspected return and supply plenums aswell as blower wheel all in good condition. Technician then checked insulation level all good and took pictures. Technician then continued into the condenser unit outside. Technician washed condenser unit and vacuumed any debris on the bottom. Technician then waxed unit and cleaned it throughly. Technician then hooked gauges up aswell as meter for inrush readings, all I'm range. Technician then took electrical readings of capacitor and contactor all in range and looking in good condition. Technician then finished with condenser and talked to homeowner about recommendations and he said he was not wanting to put money into the unit at the moment

Technician arrived to customers home and talked to homeowner also asked questions about home and handed homeowner a home questioner sheet for them to fill out. Technician then grabbed tools and started in both units located in attic. Technician changed filters inspected blower wheels and checked electrical readings all in range. Technician then checked insulation was all good. Technician then headed to outside condenser units. One of the units was 16 year old system, mentioned to customer about it and suggested a comfort advisor to come and give him couple estimates homeowner agreed and was happy with that. Technician then washed units and waxed them. Technician then took refrigerant readings and where in range. Technician took readings of capacitor and where in range, aswell as taking delta splits all in range. Technician then talked to homeowner about a perfect time for comfort advisor to come out.

Thermostat would not satisfy at desired temperature. Set to 71 finally shut off at 75. Replaced thermostat with a new T6 Honeywell. System operating properly at time of departure.
. Customer would like to talk to electrician regarding installing some GFI outlets Customer would like to speak to a comfort advisor regarding changing straight electric system to a heat pump. Comfort advisor is scheduled to speak with the customer this evening. Super tune up performed today on a straight electric system installed in 2018. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Blower wheel is slightly dirty and should be cleaned. Evaporator coil is clean but has lots of corrosion. Compressor is acceptable. Condenser fan motor is leaking oil. Refrigerant levels are acceptable. Outdoor unit was washed and waxed.
Arrived to no heat. Found system to be low on refrigerant. Performed leak search and was not able to detect a leak in the evaporator coil, the condenser or the line set. Charged system with 2lbs of r410a refrigerant and changed the Schrader valve cores. If problem persists then technician is requesting to come back out with another technician to perform the leak search. Access to the air handler is very difficult in a small attic space and an additional technician with a leak detector would make it much faster.
Technician arrived to customer's home. Technician, talk to homeowner about home and asked questions. Technician grabbed tools and started inside unit. Technician took electrical readings all in range, and changed filter inside unit. Technician then moved to outside condenser unit. Washed unit, coils where all in good shape, Technician then took inrush readings aswell as refrigerant readings all in range. Technician took delta inside home, had a 20 degree split. Technician then checked capacitor all in range. Technician put stickers and waxed unit. Technician then talked to homeowner about recommendations she mentioned other techs talked to her about it but said that she's struggling with money at the moment, mentioned financing to her aswell. Technician went over home questioner and talked to her about some stuff.
Upon arrival for tune up Customer shared concerns about the Condenser being louder than normal. During tune found that the system was low on Refrigerant and Evaporator coil had a leak. Finished tune up and talked with customer about all options with system being out of manufacture warranty. Recommended Comfort Advisor visit. Will call customer in coming up days to see what customer has decided to go with
Gave filtration options. Customer would like to research. No work done at this time
Technician arrived to customers home. Technician asked questions to homeowner about their home. Technician started at air handler and took electrical readings aswell as took pictures of blower wheel plenum filter. Technician then changed filter. Technician grabbed tools and continued on outside condenser unit. Technician started washing coil and cleaning leaves inside condenser unit. Technicians then took refrigerant readings aswell as inrush reading and other electrical readings all in range. Technician then started to wax unit and put everything back together. Technician talked to homeowner about recommendations aswell as other stuff homeowner needed info on. Technician set lead for a plumber to come out, homeowner had corrosion or buildup on faucets.
I didn't find anything wrong with the outlets I did reset the upstairs GFCI but the bottom one was working
2018 4t 90% gas attic horizontal. Filters replaced regularly. Slight build up of dirt and dust present on blower and evaporator coil. Biological growth present in supply plenum. Drain line clear, but only protection is in the emergency pan. Spray foam. Soft start on compressor. Refrigerant levels within specifications. Washed condenser. Sat with homeowner and shared my activities. We discussed the importance of IAQ, cleanings and how the system is performing. Home is interested in my estimates but asked to discuss with his wife which was not available. Verbal permission to contact next week for a followup which I'll put in my schedule.
. We will install c/s fill valve and flapper. No warranty on c/s parts
Customer is scheduled for a level 2 duct cleaning, installation of IAQ 300 in the plenum, and a value germicidal light over the blower wheel. Scheduled for Monday morning. Customer signed up for the Home and Budget protection plan.
Duct redesign estimate for downstairs unit. Need an extension ladder to access indoor unit which is in the master bedroom closet. 4/8/25 @3p Plumbing consultant 4/10/25 to discuss information on free hot water and endless water (per questionnaire), water heater is also 20+yo. Mark W said to send Daniel if possible. Systems fully functional. Upstairs tstat is compromised on the digital screen but still works.
