Outstanding Service
Extremely professional, courteous and knowledgeable of A/C systems. Gave a detailed overview of the work he did, things we should consider getting done to improve our A/C efficiency and benefits of the Comfort Care Club. My wife will be discussing the Care Club and get back to Justin. Last thoughts – I am a Senior Manager for one of the largest Domestic Airlines in the US and are known for our excellent customer service. So I am speaking from experience when I say the customer service skills that Justin displayed in our interactions were exemplary. He represents your company in an outstanding manner. We will be using your company again in the future and recommend it to our friends as well.

From the initial phone call requesting service to the completion of the repair & inspection, Comfort Experts performed flawlessly. Mark arrived onsite and went to work review the current state of our relatively new (less than 4 years old) AC system (Note*** Comfort Experts did not install the system). It didn't take Mark anytime at all to diagnose the issue. He explained what was going on & what was need to get our HVAC system back to operating normally. We are 100% satisfied that we received an honest assessment of the problem and that the repairs were done out of necessity (not a ploy to spend money on a non-issue. We will once again have them our service provider for all things relating to our environmental control system.

Outstanding service
I was truly lucky today because I had 2 outstanding service technicians, and Justin was one. He did a thorough inspection of the attic before turning his attention to the reason why he was called. In doing this he found other issues that other professional technicians overlooked. While initially costly to do all the repairs, he will end up saving me tons in electric bills alone.

Matt went far beyond what was asked. Because he believed the attic fans weren't the real issue, he found a more urgent issue, and arranged for another technician to do that repair.

We had an outstanding experience with Comfort Experts, especially Mark Watkins, who installed the mini split system in my Crafty Cabin! From start to finish, Mark was knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and truly an asset to the company. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and made sure the installation was done right. The pricing was very fair, the workmanship was excellent, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free. You can tell Mark genuinely takes pride in his work and cares about his customers. My Crafty Cabin is now perfectly comfortable, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. If you’re looking for honest, dependable service and top-notch installation, I highly recommend Comfort Experts and Mark Watkins. Five stars all the way!

I successfully installed a 12-inch jumper duct and an 8-inch jumper duct to the trunk line, ensuring a seamless connection and improved airflow. Additionally, I created a new supply cut-in to the floor in the living room area, enhancing the overall efficiency of the system. The new ductwork was carefully measured and fitted to guarantee a precise installation. This work has significantly improved the air distribution and comfort in the living space.

Upon addressing the toilet stoppage, I pulled the toilet to assess the issue. The drain line lacked sufficient fall, rising erratically over 10 feet and continuing uphill at a steep angle. To clear the stoppage, I ran a cable through the line. No plumbing or toilet flange repairs were needed. Advise against flushing any toilet paper to prevent future backups.

Upon arrival, I assessed the issues with airflow in several rooms. I began by adjusting the dampers to ensure proper ventilation. Next, I increased the airflow trim to enhance the efficiency of the system. To further optimize the airflow, I installed a Nest sensor in the game room. This sensor will help monitor and adjust the temperature and airflow, ensuring a comfortable environment. The adjustments and installation were completed successfully, resulting in improved airflow throughout the affected areas.

We successfully replaced the TXV under warranty and conducted a thorough function check on the system. Although the refrigerant readings have improved slightly, they are not yet optimal. To address this, we need to add a 20×20 return to the upstairs unit. Currently, we have half of the required materials, with the remainder to be collected upon completion of the job. Once all materials are acquired, we will return with Mark W to finalize the task. This ensures the system operates efficiently and meets the required standards.

During the service, I thoroughly inspected the 2012 Coleman Airhandler, ensuring all electrical connections were secure and tightened. The recently changed filters were in good condition, and the drain was clear and functioning properly. However, the blower motor and wheel had significant dust and dirt accumulation on the fins, and the evaporator coil was heavily coated with dust, dirt, and biological growth, along with rust on the u joints. A leak search on the evaporator coil revealed no leaks. For the 2012 Payne Heatpump, I checked and tightened all electrical connections, verified the dual run cap was within the manufacturer's range, and confirmed the primary electrical unit and defrost board were acceptable. The refrigerant levels showed low subcooling due to build-up on the coil and blower, potentially indicating leaks. The fan blades and motor were acceptable, but the condenser coils were heavily blocked with dust and dirt. I cleared debris from the bottom of the unit and washed

Today, I conducted a thorough duct inspection using a specialized duct scope to assess the condition of the central system's ducts. This involved carefully navigating through the ductwork to identify any blockages, leaks, or damage. I meticulously documented my findings and provided a detailed report. I will return either tomorrow or on Saturday to discuss the results and recommend any necessary repairs or maintenance. This proactive approach ensures the system operates efficiently and prolongs its lifespan.

Today, we successfully replaced the yard line and brake under the shower, ensuring a secure and efficient water flow system. Additionally, we replaced the main pipes under the home where the two bathrooms connect, specifically under the closet. This involved meticulous excavation and precise pipe installation to guarantee a seamless integration with the existing plumbing system. We also coordinated with the dig crew to ensure the area was properly prepared for the replacement work. Tomorrow morning, we will return to assess the progress made by the dig crew and ensure everything is on track. Later in the afternoon, we will conduct another check to confirm that the dig crew has completed their tasks as planned, allowing us to proceed with the final stages of the project.

On July 9, 2026, I was tasked with addressing a cooling issue. Initially, I rescheduled the service for the next day due to a lack of assistance. Upon arrival, I assessed the system and added the necessary refrigerant to restore cooling efficiency. This proactive measure ensured the system would function properly by the following day, providing relief from the heat. The intervention was timely and effective, allowing for a seamless transition to the rescheduled service.

Upon arrival, the system was not cooling. The Trane heat pump and air handler, installed in 2012, showed low refrigerant levels. The customer reported that another company had added refrigerant two weeks prior. Upon inspection, a leak was detected in the evaporator coil on the lower left side. An estimate for coil replacement was provided. Given the age and condition of the equipment, replacement is recommended. A Comfort Advisor is scheduled to meet with the customer to discuss options.

I replaced the faulty capacitor with a premium dual run capacitor, ensuring compatibility and reliability. I arrived to assess and provide quotes for electrical work, as requested by Justin. Upon inspection, I found an immediate issue with a light, which I swiftly resolved. I also evaluated the need for additional plugs, specifically one in the bathroom next to the bidet and another for a TV. While on-site, Carl was working on resetting a toilet. Upon arrival, the customer reported that the system was running and shutting off repeatedly. I inspected the system and identified that the primary P-trap was clogged, causing the float switch to trip. I carefully cleared the clog from the P-trap and reset the float switch. After ensuring the system was functioning correctly, I treated the drain to prevent future clogs. The system was then tested to confirm it was operating smoothly. I left the site with the assurance that the system would remain in a cool state.

I recently completed a service for an Amana air conditioning unit, model AVPTC37C14, with serial number 2010033662. The primary issue was high static pressure, which was traced to an inadequate return air system. The unit had only a single 20×20 return grill connected to a 14-inch duct, insufficient for proper airflow. To resolve this, I installed an additional 20×20 return run, ensuring the system could handle the required airflow effectively. This enhancement should improve the unit's efficiency and performance.

I began by installing a new thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) to ensure optimal system performance. Following the installation, I conducted a thorough pressure test to confirm the integrity of the system. Next, I pulled a vacuum to remove any air and moisture, which is crucial for efficient operation. After ensuring the system was free of contaminants, I checked the refrigerant charge to guarantee it was within the manufacturer's specifications. Finally, I verified that the system was cooling effectively before concluding the job.

I installed a 20×20 return air grill, ensuring precise measurements and secure placement. On 7/6/26, I ran a 25 ft drain cable through the outside wall clean out to attempt to clear the blockage in the bathroom sink drain. After boring through approximately 9 ft of foam, I successfully accessed the drain. However, the issue was not resolved, necessitating further evaluation. I paused the job pending coordination with groundworks, who will tunnel to repair the pipe. The extent of the tunneling required remains unknown. I will resume the task once groundworks contacts the customer.

The customer requested that we begin with jetting to ensure there were no underlying issues before addressing other repairs. After completing the jetting, we identified and resolved several issues. We replaced the yard line and brake under the shower, ensuring everything was functioning correctly. Additionally, we repiped the main lines in two bathrooms where they converge beneath the home, enhancing the plumbing system's efficiency and reliability. We scheduled a follow-up visit for the next Tuesday or Wednesday, with Tuesday being the preferred date. This allowed us to complete the initial work and prepare for further tasks, including a return visit on Wednesday and a full day on Friday with my colleague Zack.

Upon arrival, I assessed a two-zone system where the upstairs temperature was 74 degrees while the downstairs was at the set 71 degrees. The customer reported changing a very dirty filter. After inspection, I found refrigerant levels and airflow to be within normal ranges. The dirty filter likely caused low airflow across the coil, leading to system freezing and temperature inconsistency. I recommended installing a drain safety switch on the upstairs air handler to prevent future issues. The system is now running and cooling effectively.

During the service, I assessed the upflow air handler and found it equipped with a single 18×20 filter grill. Despite increasing the blower speed to its maximum, the airflow was insufficient. To resolve this, I recommended and implemented the addition of a second return. Specifically, I cut in a 20×20 return to enhance the return air flow across the coil, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of the system.

On July 3, I responded to a tenant's report of a system malfunction. Upon arrival, I discovered that the system was inadvertently set to 'off', causing it to freeze during evaluation. Additionally, the refrigerant line set and coil had thawed due to the system being off for an extended period. I reset the system to 'cool' and checked the refrigerant levels, finding them to be overcharged. The recommended superheat was 10, but the actual superheat was zero. The air filter was severely clogged, and the coil and blower were also heavily soiled. I cleaned the coil and blower, ensuring the system was functioning properly before leaving. Per Mark W's schedule, Aiden is set to follow up on Monday for further maintenance. The system is now cooling effectively.

Upon arrival, the air conditioning system was not functioning. I connected my gauges to check the refrigerant levels, which were significantly low, indicating a leak. I conducted a thorough inspection and identified the leak at the indoor coil. I recommended a comfort advisor and informed the customer to discuss it with Marsha Brown. When Marcia Brown arrived, the system was off with the fan on, and the temperature was 84 degrees. I added enough refrigerant to stabilize the system until a new coil arrives, and the system is now cooling effectively.

Upon inspection, it was determined that the dual run capacitor had failed. I promptly replaced the faulty capacitor with a new one to ensure optimal performance. Following the replacement, I conducted a thorough check of the entire charge system to confirm its proper functioning. This included verifying voltage levels, inspecting connections, and ensuring all components were working as intended. The system was left in a cool state to prevent any potential overheating issues. The job was completed successfully, ensuring the system operates efficiently and reliably.

Upon arrival, I investigated an issue with a tripping breaker linked to the disposal and dishwasher. After thorough testing, it was determined that the dishwasher was the root cause, not the breaker or circuit. The customer had already replaced the breaker with a new GFCI one, but the issue persisted. The disposal was functioning correctly, but the dishwasher caused the breaker to trip during a specific mode. I confirmed the dishwasher's malfunction and advised the customer to contact an appliance specialist.
