Had issue with a contractor boring a fiber optic line in my area ..come to find out the contractor bored through my sewer line going to street Mark and another coworker after working all day stayed until their job was fulfilled and worked well past midnight to do so..they went above and beyond their duties to do so!!! Upon inspection, I identified a burnt "C" wire connected to the capacitor door, which was also exhibiting signs of weakness. I replaced the capacitor door to ensure proper functionality. Additionally, I verified that the system was set to the cool mode. The system is now operating correctly, and the issue has been resolved.
Recently, I successfully completed a project involving the installation and maintenance of Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) outlets in the bathrooms and the replacement of a faulty garbage disposal unit. The GFCI outlets were installed to enhance safety by preventing electrical shocks in areas with high moisture levels, such as bathrooms. This involved careful wiring and testing to ensure each outlet functioned correctly. Additionally, the disposal unit was replaced after identifying it as the source of recurring issues. This task required careful removal of the old unit, installation of the new one, and thorough testing to confirm proper operation. Both tasks were completed efficiently, ensuring the safety and functionality of the areas involved.
Upon arrival, the system was not providing any cooling. A thorough inspection revealed that the R-22 refrigerant system was completely devoid of refrigerant. Further investigation identified a small leak in the evaporator coil. The next steps involve scheduling a meeting with the tenant to discuss the situation and provide a detailed estimate for replacing the system. A Comfort Advisor will contact the homeowner with the pricing information. This comprehensive approach ensures that all necessary steps are taken to address the issue effectively.
Upon arrival, the customer reported that the thermostat was set to 72 degrees, but the home temperature was 77 degrees. During the evaluation, I found that the compressor was running, but the two-stage condenser fan motor was not functioning. I discussed the replacement of the fan motor with the customer, who agreed and paid for the new part. However, before installing the new fan motor, I discovered that the primary electrical control was shorted. The customer mentioned a recent electrical surge, which likely caused the issue. Due to the system's age, I informed the customer about the potential unavailability of the board and strongly recommended having a Comfort Advisor visit before spending more money on the system. Additionally, the customer requested that the parts department check the availability of the primary electrical board. The job is currently paused.
Recently, I successfully completed a project involving the sale and installation of a high-efficiency Level 5 36k heat pump. This involved assessing the client's heating needs, recommending the most suitable model, and providing a detailed explanation of its benefits. The installation process was meticulously executed, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. Throughout the project, I maintained clear communication with the client, addressing any questions and concerns. The final result was a reliable and effective heating solution that significantly improved the comfort of the space.
I performed a comprehensive tune-up on the straight electric system. All electrical connections were inspected and found to be secure. The blower wheel had bits of insulation inside, which were carefully removed, ensuring it is now in acceptable condition. A large sheet of insulation had peeled off and was covering the coil, obstructing it. This was removed, restoring the coil to an acceptable state. All amp draws were measured and found to be within specifications. The outdoor unit was thoroughly cleaned, washed, and waxed. The pan strip in the indoor unit was old and required replacement, but the customer opted to wait until the next service visit. Additionally, the refrigerant charge will need to be rechecked during a warmer temperature to ensure optimal performance.
I successfully replaced the x13 motor land system, ensuring all components were correctly installed. I conducted a thorough system check to confirm functionality and efficiency. The motor was left operational, and I verified that the system was running smoothly and cool. This process involved precise alignment and calibration to maintain optimal performance. All safety protocols were followed throughout the procedure.
I installed four high-efficiency solar panels on the carport, ensuring optimal positioning for maximum sunlight exposure. Each panel was securely mounted to the structure, and all electrical connections were made with precision to ensure seamless integration with the existing system. I calibrated the inverter to maximize energy conversion and monitored the system's performance to confirm efficiency. Additionally, I conducted a thorough inspection of the carport to ensure structural integrity and safety. The installation was completed within the scheduled timeframe, and the system is now fully operational, providing sustainable energy for the shop.
I successfully installed the IAQ 300 germicidal system, ensuring all components were correctly positioned and securely mounted. Following installation, I conducted a comprehensive function check, verifying that each system component operated efficiently and effectively. The air purification, UV-C light, and filtration systems all performed as expected, ensuring optimal indoor air quality.
On Thursday, I successfully installed a mini split system provided by the customer. The process began with a thorough assessment of the designated area to ensure optimal placement for efficient cooling. I meticulously mounted the indoor unit, ensuring it was level and securely fastened to the wall. Next, I ran and insulated the necessary ductwork, paying close attention to minimize noise and maximize efficiency. The outdoor unit was then installed, connected to the indoor unit, and properly sealed to prevent any leaks. After completing the installation, I conducted a comprehensive system check to confirm that everything was functioning correctly. The customer was pleased with the installation and the immediate cooling effect.
Today, I performed a comprehensive tune-up on a 15-year-old Bryant heat pump system, including the air handler. I meticulously checked all electrical connections, ensuring they were secure and free from corrosion. The blower wheel showed some minor buildup, which I addressed. I identified biological growth within the system and discussed its implications with the customer. Although no drain protection was installed, I recommended its future installation. Refrigerant levels were verified to be within the acceptable range. The compressor and condenser fan motor were inspected and found to be functioning properly. The outdoor unit was thoroughly cleaned, including washing and waxing to enhance its performance and longevity. The customer opted not to install a drain switch at this time, but I provided guidance on its importance.
Upon arrival, the York air handler Model AHE36C3XH21B with Serial W1D6495567 was found to be non-functional due to a failed X-13 blower motor. After diagnosing the issue, I informed the customer and proceeded to order the replacement part. Once the part arrives, I will return to install the new blower motor and perform a comprehensive function check of the system to ensure it operates correctly. The customer has paid half the total upfront and will settle the remaining balance upon completion.
Customer would like to look further into why his utility bills are so high. Energy audit performed. Found nothing out of the ordinary. Pool pump is running very often though. Requesting an electrician to come and evaluate the electrical system.

Recommended to replace the UV bulb to keep the system clean from biological growth to help insure the longevity of the system as well as improving the air quality within the home.
Came to job to do rec work and being RV plug up 3 ft as well as rewire plug to be 120v for sauna everything is work8ng and customer is happy told them to call if something stops working
Performed eval on 2013 Goodman air handler. Customer stated they heard a ticking or tapping noise coming from the attic where the air handler is located. Upon inspection it was found that the liquid line was vibrating and was brushing up against a wooden beam, causing the echo to the room below. Line was moved slightly out of the way. Recommended level 2 duct cleaning. Also recommended UV system to prevent biological growth and or a comfort advisor due to the age of the system.
Upon arrival system was off and proceeded to put the system in cool blower motor wasn't running which caused the evaporator coil to freeze up and caused refrigerant levels to drop in pressure. I was not able to get good refrigerant level to see if system was in range bc it needs blower motor Replaced to get a good reading. Job is not finished and is going to be Scheduled for 5/5/26 for noon.
Customer states that humidity levels are high in the home. Perf9emd function check to find that refrigerant readings, temperature delta and humidity levels are all in range of where they should be. Technician believes that the humidity levels may have been higher than normal this past week due to the rainy weather and colder than normal temperatures outside. The air conditioner will only control humidity levels if it is running.
Changed out faulty TXV. Pulled vacuum to 500 microns and released pump d down refrigerant. System running normally upon departure.
5/1/26 I need to get with Brett to see how he wants to go about fixing the shower
4/30/26 We will trace line to determine where it runs. Once found we will open call and cap off leaking line. No warranty on existing copper under slab. I will need my tracing equipment out of my truck which is in the shop. Will pick up tools in the morning and return to make repairs. 5/1/26 5/1/2026 Found leak to be under slab. We will need to retoute this line from main manifold behind stove to kitchen sink. Me and Mark W. Will return Tuesday first call to repair. 5/5/26
Performed tune up on upstairs and downstairs units checked all electrical connections in air handler change customer provided filters trains were clear and draining at this time downstairs evaporator coil and blower were acceptable upstairs blower was acceptable upstairs evaporator coil has some dust and dirt buildup due to filter bypass at the unit recommended trying filters at the returns on the walls and or upgrading to April air filter box to eliminate filter bypass and dust under build up in system Checked all electrical connections on the heat pumps along with refrigerant levels refrigerant levels were within range at this time condenser fan motors or acceptable condenser coils were acceptable unable to wash condensers at this time due to customer having water leak in the home and having water shut off while plumbers were working to fix or find the leak
Gave quote for a whole home rewire also gave a quote for a main panel upgrade
Upon arrival customer stated mini split in office shed would not cool and give Condenser error. During evaluation found that the refrigerant levels would drop extremely low when running. Performed leak search on evaporator coil and found leak. Talked with customer about repairing evaporator coil and or having comfort advisor come out to talk about replacement of system. Customer declined all recommendations at this time
2025 Amana Airhandler Checked and tightened all electrical connections Changed provided filter Drain was clear and draining at this time Blower motor and wheel were acceptable Evaporator coil was acceptable Biological growth is beginning to build on filter box 2025 Amana Heatpump Checked and tightened all electrical connections Dual run cap was within manufacture range Primary electrical unit was acceptable Unit surge protection is no longer functional Refrigerant levels were acceptable at this time Fan blades and motor were acceptable Condenser coil was acceptable Cleared debris from the bottom of the unit Washed condenser coils from the inside out Recommended UV system for biological growth and clean air along with unit surge protection
