Good service. Poor waiting time. Window for service is too big
Kathy - Willow Park, TX 76087
I was given 10-5 as my window for service. I called to be sure i was still to have service at abt 3:30 and was told he was on his way. He arrived at 4:59!!! I spent all day waiting. You have done this for years. My time is valuable also and could have done many things besides sit her and wait. Please try and arrange shorter windows for service. 7 hrs is too much.

We sincerely apologize about the extended wait period & lack of communication Kathy. That is not the norm and we will research to see what happened. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us do better.

Upon arrival to customers house system was cooling Speaking with customer he showed me that he swapped out the cap about 30 minutes before arrival, when first arriving tstat was reading 84 and customer also said that he had bad airflow problems to two rooms and one of the dampers once at a constant close so I opened it up and checked temps and was getting 58 degrees out of those vents but with low airflow told customer to watch it for a day or so and see if it improves it and if not to call us back out to get a better look at the duct Left customers house with tstat reading 80 degrees and cooling

Customer states that home got up to 78 degrees when thermostat is set to 74. Customer used temp gun to take temp at vent and it was 78 degrees. Upon arrival system was cooling the home. 62 degree air was coming from vents. Checked drain switch and Ecm blower motor. Delta T was 15 degrees and subcooling was 11 degrees, indicating that refrigerant levels are in range. Technician discovered that condenser fan motor was making loud rattling noise and appeared to have leaked oil. Replaced condenser fan motor and performed function check. System running in cool upon departure.

On arrival the system was turning on at all, started the evaluation of the system found the drain switch was tripped due a clogged drain. Cleared the drain system turned on , checked the blower capacitor, blower fan and Evaporator coil , found the dual 45/5 capacitor on the Condenser was out of manufacturer range , the system was reading low on freon. Preformed a complimentary leak search and didn't find a leak at this time. Customer made great choices and decided to fill the system with 39oz of 410a and replace the 45/5. Thank you for choosing Comfort Experts 45/5 dual capacitor, drain clear , 39oz of 410a freon

Amana heat pump with air handler installed in 2019. Arrived to no cool. Code on heat pump was reading L6 which means short in start winding. Discovered weak start capacitor had failed. Changed 35mfd capacitor under warranty and performed hard reset on system. System running in cool upon departure.

Trane heat pump r-22 with air handler installed in 2002. Arrived to no cool. Discovered tripped breaker in box. Flipped breaker back to on position and Cindy fan turned on but not the compressor. The compressor turned on after about three minutes. When compressor is running there is a 5 degree delta and subcooling is 0.5 degrees. Performed leak search on evap coil and found leak in lower left side of coil. Tech believes that system has run low on refrigerant and may have caused some damage to the bearings in the compressor due to overheating. Talked with customer about options and she is leaning toward putting in some refrigerant with the knowledge that it will leak back out over time.
