We just had a new HVAC installed by Comfort Experts. One crew cleaned our duct work then Alex and Daniel in stalled the HVAC system. They were very professional and efficient. Near the end of the install a tiny bird flew in the open door. It flew up to my skylight. They went above and beyond to capture the tiny bird and release it safely. Kudos to Alex and Daniel!!!!

Upon arrival, I identified a broken flange on the toilet. I carefully removed the existing flange and installed a new one, ensuring it was securely attached to the floor. After the flange was in place, I reset the toilet, making sure it was level and properly aligned. I then applied a high-quality sealant around the base to prevent leaks. Following the installation, I conducted a thorough test to confirm that the toilet was functioning correctly and there were no leaks. The job was completed successfully, with the toilet now securely and effectively installed.
I visited to provide a quote for replacing an office room fan and a malfunctioning switch that was preventing power to the fan. Additionally, I assessed the need to replace an uplight. I presented two different quotes to the customer, explaining our membership program, which includes various benefits, discounts, and yearly maintenance. The customer appreciated the options and the membership details. Although our price was slightly higher, she needed to discuss it with her husband before signing up for the membership. She expressed interest in getting the work done and mentioned that if she contacted us today, I could complete the job tomorrow. She plans to reach out once she consults with her husband.

On Thursday afternoon, I meticulously prepared a comprehensive quote for a potential client. This involved analyzing their specific needs and preferences, calculating costs for various services, and ensuring all details were accurately represented. I included a breakdown of potential costs, service options, and a timeline for implementation. The quote was designed to provide a clear and transparent overview, facilitating an informed decision-making process for the client. This preparation allowed for a productive and informative call later that day.
During the evaluation, I identified a dual run capacitor out of tolerance, which I replaced under warranty. The condenser core and blower motor wheel were dirty, and there was buildup in the drainline, accompanied by buzzing from the primary electrical control unit. I recommended cleaning the blower wheel for efficiency, adding a condensate drain treatment strip, and replacing the control unit due to the buzzing indicating incomplete contact. The homeowner agreed to the blower cleaning and drain treatment, but opted to replace the control unit later.
On May 30, I meticulously gathered comprehensive information from the client regarding their specific needs and preferences. This involved conducting a thorough assessment of their current situation and understanding their goals for the project. Following this, I provided a detailed estimate that included all potential costs, materials, and timelines. The estimate was tailored to ensure clarity and transparency, allowing the client to make an informed decision. This process was conducted with professionalism and attention to detail to ensure the client's satisfaction.
During the plumbing inspection, I identified several critical issues that required immediate attention. These included corroded pipes, a malfunctioning water heater, and a leaking faucet. I meticulously documented these findings and prepared a detailed estimate for the necessary replacements. The job, expected to take approximately three hours, will be scheduled for next Thursday morning. This proactive approach ensures the system's integrity and prevents potential future complications.
Upon arrival, I conducted a thorough evaluation of the system. The dampers were incorrectly indicating they were open, a result of being wired in reverse. I promptly identified and corrected the wiring issue. After ensuring the dampers were properly connected, I conducted a series of tests to confirm their correct operation. The system now functions as intended, providing optimal performance. Thank you for entrusting your comfort needs to our experts.
Today, I successfully replaced the zone board, ensuring the system's efficiency and reliability. I then installed Nest thermostats, providing advanced control and energy-saving features. After installation, I meticulously verified that the system functions correctly, confirming that both heating and cooling operations are seamless. The system was running smoothly, with cooling active when I departed, ensuring optimal comfort. Thank you for choosing our services.
.
Upon arrival, I identified that the zone board had failed, causing issues with the thermostat. To address this, I bypassed the zone board temporarily, allowing the upstairs thermostat to function. I explained the situation to the customer and discussed the need to replace the zone board. The customer agreed and provided upfront payment. I ensured the temporary bypass was secure and provided guidance on the next steps. Thank you for choosing our services; have a great day.
Today, I successfully completed a service call involving the installation and configuration of a new smart home system. After assessing the client's needs, I installed various smart devices, including security cameras, smart lighting, and a smart thermostat. I also ensured that all devices were properly connected and functioning optimally. I provided the client with a comprehensive guide on how to use the system and set up any necessary schedules. The client was very satisfied with the setup and functionality of the new system. I scheduled a follow-up call for tomorrow morning at 12 pm to address any questions or concerns they might have.
During the recent service, I thoroughly inspected and cleaned the condenser unit, ensuring it operates efficiently. The air filter was replaced to enhance air quality and system performance. I verified that refrigerant levels were optimal and confirmed that all electronic components were functioning correctly. No operational issues were detected, but I recommended installing a soft start to prolong system life and suggested adding a Jones balance and a float switch to maintain clean drains. The customer is considering the provided estimates. Thank you for choosing our services.
During the inspection, I evaluated three HVAC systems. The 5-ton system had critically low freon levels, and unfortunately, it lacked warranty coverage. The 3.5-ton system exhibited airflow issues, which were traced to a significant amount of insulation obstructing the blower wheel. I addressed this issue to restore proper airflow. The 2.5-ton system also had low refrigerant levels and was not under warranty. For repairs, I suggested starting with a leak search. Scenario A involves leak detection and repair, with an estimated cost of $3,741, which is the most cost-effective option. Scenario B includes leak detection and coil replacement, totaling $7,689. I recommend adding a soft start to extend system longevity if the repair route is chosen, priced at $1,552 per system.
During the service, I conducted a comprehensive super tune-up. Upon inspection, I observed the unit was over amping at startup, indicating potential inefficiencies. The primary electrical control unit showed signs of wear, with noticeable Burt weldings. Additionally, the blower was heavily soiled, which could affect performance. I recommended installing a compressor saver kit or a soft start to mitigate the startup strain, replacing the primary electrical control unit, and thoroughly cleaning the blower. Although the homeowner chose not to proceed with these suggestions, they agreed to clean the blower themselves. I also suggested considering a system replacement due to the unit's age, which they declined. However, they opted for a condensation drain treatment strip to prevent clogs for the season. Thank you for choosing our services.

I successfully installed a new soft start system today, ensuring a smooth transition for the equipment. The inrush amps were measured at 48, which is within the optimal range. This installation significantly reduces stress on the electrical system and extends the lifespan of the machinery. The system is now fully operational and back online, providing reliable performance.
Upon inspection, the air conditioning system had completely lost its freon, rendering it inoperable. Instead of attempting repairs, the customer expressed interest in discussing a complete system replacement. We thoroughly explained the benefits and options available for a new system. The customer agreed to further discuss the replacement options during a scheduled meeting tomorrow at 10 am. Our team is prepared to provide detailed information and recommendations to ensure a smooth transition to a new, efficient system.
I successfully reinstalled the homeowner's thermostat with a modern, wifi-enabled model. This upgrade allows for remote control and monitoring of the home's temperature settings. I assisted the homeowner in setting up her account on the associated app, ensuring she could easily manage the system from her smartphone or tablet. After installation, I conducted a thorough test to confirm that the cooling system was functioning properly. The homeowner was satisfied with the system's performance, and it was cooling effectively when I left. Thank you for choosing Comfort Experts for your home comfort needs.
I inspected the heating and cooling components of the system. I meticulously cleaned the return air duct to remove accumulated debris and installed a fresh, high-efficiency filter. After completing these tasks, I conducted thorough tests on both the heating and cooling sides, confirming that the system operated within acceptable parameters. The system's performance was verified to be efficient and reliable.
I performed a comprehensive super tune-up, starting with filter changes and ensuring the drain is clear. The system's deltas were checked and found to be within acceptable limits. All electrical components were tightened and verified to be in tolerance. I also cleaned the outdoor unit and verified refrigerant levels. The compressor's startup current was assessed, and a start kit was recommended to reduce inrush and extend its life. A surge protector was also suggested. The system was heating effectively when I finished.
The system makes a good td and super heat.btheres nothing wrong with it. Although5 the house and system could use a few key items 1 soft start 2 more insulations.
Today I looked at both system in cooling and heating. The system has some damage against the contactor n the smaller unit. The system needs a solid start at this point because the hard start is not doing it any
Replaced evaporator coil, pulled down to 327 microns Charged by weight Had a 20 delta, system is operational and working good Thank you for choosing Comfort Experts, have a great day
Tune up- washed Condenser but left filter inside as it was still clean enough to go another couple months Delta in cooling was 16 degrees, after adding refrigerant I had a 20 delta All electrical components in tolerance and in good standing System is ready for summer Thank you for choosing Comfort Experts, have a great day
