On arrival system running but not cooling. Found compressor locked out by core sense. Reset core sense and found compressor over amping on start up. I added a compressor saver kit to address this and then noticed the system slightly undercharged at a 6 subcool. Added a small amount of refridgerant to get us to an 8. When I left system running and cooling producing a 20 degree delta.

This is a 4ton straight with gas furnace in the attic. The system is low on 410a freon. I discovered this after i check all possible air flow issues. The gage read a 20° evap coil. I would recommend system replacement.

Daniel came to my house to install a new filter into my equipment and show me how to do it in the future. As we talked about the types of filters I would like due to my asthma and the pets I have, he suggested a IAQ 200 UVC Germicidal Unit to add into the new HVAC system they had installed last October to increase the air quality/safety in my home. Bottom line......I was surprised that he could do it right away so I made the decision to go ahead. He had installed and up and running in about 45 minutes and I couldn't be happier. Great job!!!!

On arrival system running and cooling. Customer stated system running more often than typical. After complete inspection I found that the system was low on refridgerant , with a subcool of 3-4 and the system designed for an 8. The blower was dusty and it its capicator was out of tolerance. The supply plenum and coil had biological growth. Outdoor unit passed all electrical testing but was overamping on start up. Due to age and condition of system along with the cost of repairs and the upcoming refridgerant change I recommended speaking with a comfort advisor about replacement. Visit is set for 3-5 on Friday.

Arrived on site tenant greeted me and explained that another company was contracted by the property management company 2 weeks ago to diagnose this same issue. Property management company has not followed up since then and we were contacted directly by the home owner. After my inspection I have determined that the system is low on refrigerant superheat 52.7 subcool 3.5 R22 TXV. Performed leak search coil leaking. I contacted HO and explained the situation I advised that replacement would be the best resolution. HO cannot however meet comfort advisor due to logistics reached out to Rob said he can quote over the phone. Estimates for repair emailed.

04/15/24 Tyler s- front yard just past the meter where the meter nipple and what areas to be PEX meet, is leaking. Would need to dig up meter box to get under the sidewalk to access repair. Unsure on size.

During inspection verified that system was working properly Spoke to customer about upgrading his current UV system to a IAQ 200 so that it cleans the system better and that he is not having to change that current bulb out every year or so and also spoke about a pan strip to make sure his drain lines stay clear Customer wanted to move forward on both of the recommendations

For cooling tune up I inspected the furnace and condenser. All components were measuring within manufacturer specs except the compressor capacitor which I replaced due to this customer having P&L. I replaced the UV bulb and installed a whole home surge protector on the main breaker panel. The surge protector had both lights on indicating the home was protected and UV bulb was working as expected.

Austin was very courteous and helpfull.
Colby is an outstanding technician. When he arrived it was 63 degrees in our home because the heating had been out for 12 hours within 90 minutes he determined and resolved the issue. And thanks to his advise to purchased the monthly plan during our annual tune-up the service call was covered at no additional cost!!! Fast with great customer service. we were his last service call for the night (12 degrees night). Life and pipe saver!!

We were expecting an AC tuneup / check. Tyler didn’t look at the AC system but validated our electrical plugs, etc. If we were supposed to have an electrical checkup, Tyler did a great job. 10-5 is too big of a window.
