Utterly Fantastic Service!
Daniel came to my house to install a new filter into my equipment and show me how to do it in the future. As we talked about the types of filters I would like due to my asthma and the pets I have, he suggested a IAQ 200 UVC Germicidal Unit to add into the new HVAC system they had installed last October to increase the air quality/safety in my home. Bottom line......I was surprised that he could do it right away so I made the decision to go ahead. He had installed and up and running in about 45 minutes and I couldn't be happier. Great job!!!!

Colby is an outstanding technician. When he arrived it was 63 degrees in our home because the heating had been out for 12 hours within 90 minutes he determined and resolved the issue. And thanks to his advise to purchased the monthly plan during our annual tune-up the service call was covered at no additional cost!!! Fast with great customer service. we were his last service call for the night (12 degrees night). Life and pipe saver!!

AC tuneup/Electrical check
We were expecting an AC tuneup / check. Tyler didn’t look at the AC system but validated our electrical plugs, etc. If we were supposed to have an electrical checkup, Tyler did a great job.
10-5 is too big of a window. I received a text that Tyler was on his way, but he didn’t show up for another hour.

08/31/24 TS- quote for fixing the water main line in yard were it Tees for irrigation. There's not enough meat on the Tee to repair with out replacing some of the irrigation line. I would transition too PEX on the repair

System has high pressure because of a dirty condensor. The cap is burnt out as well. In rush is 140 should be under 125. This is a large electrical load. I recommend a soft start to tackle this issue. As well as a good condensor washing.

08/10/24 TS- newly bought house and just wanted the drains "cleaned" informed the customer that for $89 special it was running a 25' snake down a branch line down and back. And if there was no issue with the drains you don't have them cleaned like you would the air ducting. He still will want an AC Tech to come out and look into cleaning the ducts and coils. I didn't not talk about AC cost.

On arrival system was not running due to a blown fuse. I found the short in the outdoor unit contactor and replaced it. Once replaced I found the thermostat malfunctioning as well. Attempted to replace customer provided thermostat but was unable.

Super tune up performed today on the upstairs unit. Goodman air handler installed in 2009 with a Bryant heat pump installed in 2000. R-22 system. Supply plenum had a leak that this technician taped up but it needs to be properly sealed for a permanent solution. Blower motor and capacitor are acceptable. Blower wheel has a slight build up starting to form. Evaporator coil is clean. Heat strips are in range. Compressor is amping high upon start up. Condenser fan motor is amping high while running and bearings are making noise. Refrigerant levels are in range. Attic insulation is low and customer could benefit from additional insulation being added to the attic to help with the efficiency of the home. Upstairs system has no drain protection. Customer refused all repairs at this time.

On arrival system running but not cooling. Found compressor locked out by core sense. Reset core sense and found compressor over amping on start up. I added a compressor saver kit to address this and then noticed the system slightly undercharged at a 6 subcool. Added a small amount of refridgerant to get us to an 8. When I left system running and cooling producing a 20 degree delta.

This is a 4ton straight with gas furnace in the attic. The system is low on 410a freon. I discovered this after i check all possible air flow issues. The gage read a 20° evap coil. I would recommend system replacement.
