Was not informed about delay in arrival arrived at 8, left at midnight Dispatch did not keep me informed Tech was great(5 stars)
Performed super tune up, inspected all the components and washed the condenser coil. Found the dual run capacitor had failed preventing the compressor from running, replaced under warranty. Informed customer that the drain is draining slowly, and recommend a compressor saver. Customer decided to install the compressor saver, and will try to treat the drain themselves. Left the system on in cooling.
Upon arrival found system not running. Outside unit was not getting any signal to turn on. Thermostat wire in indoor unit was broken and not connected. Replaced wire. All other components were within range and functioning properly.
SAHC performed today, outdoor unit refrigerant levels are good at this time and the dual run capacitor is testing within manufacturer specifications. Indoor unit filter is clean and the primary drain line is clear at this time, all ignition components are functioning properly and the inducer motor is pulling proper amperage. Recommended whole home surge protector to protect the system
Sold LV 1 gas 48k horizontal with slab, disconnect, whip and using existing duct system
Inspected unit found biological growth in the air handler. The outdoor unit needs a dual run capacitor. All other items checked in limits.
Bad circuit board, rusty and corroded evaporator coil, system upgrade do to age condition and refrigerant phase out. Comfort advisor 4-1-22 6-8.
Home warranty Thoroughly performed a heating tune up for both gas furnaces, tightened electrical connections and checked all heating components. Main unit has been replaced, the bedroom unit AC new but furnace old. Main unit heating components functioning properly, ducts are extremely dirty. Bedroom unit- igniter burned up and corroded, gas valve showing signs of failure, blower cap below specs and ducts are dirty. Customer said he has home warranty.
(Both systems replaced 2019) Thoroughly performed a heating tune up for the upstairs unit, tightened electrical connections and checked all heating components. Systems heating operations are functioning properly at this time, flame sensor green and corroded, recommended replacing, customer purchased 2 flame sensors. Installed and functioning properly.
Had to change out thermostat first thermostat was not correct
Performed annual heating. System operating as should. Cleaned blower wheel.
