Blake came and troubleshot my misbehaving HVAC. How found the issues and provided options to resolve it quickly, and was spot on with his diagnosis. While it wasn’t the best news to get right around the holidays, at least I know what’s up with the unit and have a plan of attack. He came out quickly when I first reported the issue, then took his time diagnosing what turned out to be a tricky intermittent but ultimately minor problem. 2nd unit purchased this year and another quick and professional delivery. Ensured everything was up to code and went the extra mile to ensure they met requirements. 1st unit purchased had an issue they resolved asap and under warranty and expecting the same with this unit. Great communication and ensured any questions I had were answered right away. Gave instructions for care (unit is more maintenance-free than the older unit) and ensured my Nest unit was configured properly. Hauled away old unit and ensured everything was clean before leaving. Overall, very pleased with the process, and while, yeah, it's not cheap, at least I won't have to worry about these units for another decade or so.
Mark was friendly, knowledgeable and provided a very thorough review of plumbing in my home. I was very happy to have him come in and discuss what he encountered, as part of my contract, including what could be life-saving recommendations for rusty gas connections. Upon inspection, the air conditioning system was identified as having issues due to a faulty dual run capacitor. I carefully removed the old capacitor, ensuring all connections were safely disconnected. The new dual run capacitor was then installed, with each connection securely attached and the unit properly sealed. After the installation, I conducted a thorough test to confirm the system was functioning correctly. The air conditioning unit is now operating efficiently, providing reliable cooling as intended. The job was completed to the highest standards, ensuring the system's longevity and performance.
I provided a detailed quote for running power to two outdoor pergolas and four sconce lights in the movie room, including a dimmer. I presented options with and without a membership, highlighting the benefits, and also quoted for new circuits. Another company was present, so the customer decided to wait and will contact us when ready.

Tune up/ Eval Arrived to system not able to keep temperature Connected my gauges and found that the sub cool was negative, turned off Condenser and let the fan run inside, after 15 minutes reset condenser and let condenser run for 20 minutes, checked delta to be 20 degrees, after another 10 minutes it dropped to 5-6 degree delta After the 3rd reset, system maintained a stable pressure reading TXV is exposed and not insulated, customer states this has been going on resently a lot more and this is not a first time thing Diagnosed as a faulty TXV that is getting stuck open, this is a two stage system straight cool system and the metering device is failing Customer opted for the repair, it will need to be a 4-5 ton TXV No refrigerant will be needed, had a consistent 10 subcool with 15 superheat at one point indicating plenty of refrigerant This will be a pump down Customer opted to pay for the membership in full and some of the rec work, rest of balance will be paid for at

For this call I performed a evaluation. Several issues ongoing with the unit but immediate problem was thermostat. After replacing the thermostat only heating portion of the unit was working cooling side would not engage. I discussed further diagnostic fees due to time it could take to diagnose root issue of cooling not operating and spoke to homeowner about considering a system replacement. The same two job to quotes adding essential loads panel to power water heater because he already has Tesla solar packs on house feeding entire rest of panel but doesn't have enough to feed water heater per people who installed it so came out to give quote and look to see what was possible and price was a little bit high for customer but also talked about payment plans as well but customers that you would just need a little bit of time to think about it
I looked at the circuit with the GFCI and it's connected to the bathrooms but everything I looked at and tested was perfectly fine I need the problem to occur if I want any chance of finding it so awaiting customer phone call when it happens again

I have installed 2 gfci's one in the kitchen and one in the downstairs bathroom
On arrival system running and cooling producing 20 degrees delta. Indoor unit in good condition and drain line flowed when flushed. Outdoor unit passed all electrical testing but compressor saver kit is non functional and contactor is buzzing loudly. Recommended replacing both but customer is planning on moving in next year. System cooling as I left.

Arrived onsite customer had a lavatory in master bathroom that wife was complaining of a smell coming from. When you look at the overflow hole on drain body was some gunk set in there causing smell. Ran water through overflow and smell went away
