Gave custo,er a quote for removing double oven to unplug e listing cook top. Installing new outlet under cooktop. Removing old gas cooktop. Installing new cooktop. They didn't like the number. Are going to explore other options. They were expecting $200. So not worth negotiating.

Arrived onsite customer had her condensate drain come out of slab in front of home going down into 3” hub drain at the cleanouts. Went ahead and cleared the drain with electric snake and also cleared leaves from top of drian also. Ran water through drain to clear out remaining debris. Tested after drain was cleared everything working properly,

After installing the condensor fan and new ecm control I found out this system has double disconnects due to some home remodeling. Other then this the system is online and cooling.

Arrived for eval Customer stated that the right side unit wasn’t keeping up. Ran test and the system was low on R22. The system is from 1996. Recommend doing a new coil and outdoor unit. Gave the customer the refurbish price and talked about a new unit Customer is busy for the next two weeks but will call us when she is ready to do a comfort advisor Also checked the other unit and was able to get a 20 degree delta

06/21/24 TS- informed customer that his 13 year old waterheater is well past its time on getting a fresh flush. I was fully willing to still flush the waterheater, but informed him about the T&P valve amongst other issues that can arise when you do maintenance on an old system that hasn't been up to date. Customer declined service work

For this cooling tune up we inspected both furnaces and condensers. The upstairs blower capacitor was out of tolerance by 50%, and both units were overamping and the upstairs condenser had high head pressure. Back in May another technician came out here and diagnosed the compressor as going into thermal lockout most likely because of age but also positioning of where the units are on the side of the house being exposed to the Sun. Both units are well over 10 years old and close to the end of their lifespan. We spoke to the customer about replacement and he would like to speak with a comfort advisor with an appointment set for Thursday the 20th.

This system could benifit from 10oz of freon 410a to help cool the house a little quicker. It also has biogrowth on the inside air handler next to the Evap coil and on the blower motor wires. Another thing it could use is a hard start kit to help the system start up easier. Currently the caps and contactors are in tolerance. The system is clean and ready for cooling.

For this super tune-up I inspected the furnace and condenser, all equipment was measuring within manufacturer's specs and running well. When I gauged up my superheat was high and my subcool was lower than expected indicating possible low refrigerant as well as a restricted TXV explain to the customer what I found and he stated he may replace later on.

Upon arrival system was turned off and customer stated that this morning the system was working then the condenser made a very loud noise and they turned it off During inspection discovered that compressor was getting a high inrush of amps and LRA was set to be 109 and was reading 129.9 Spoke to owner and got a compressor saver installed Left with system operating properly

Tech arrived at a membership service call. Upon inspection, the compressor was in thermal lockout and the drain was clogged. The filter was very dirty and improper. The outside system was hosed off to assist with air flow across the coils. The drain was unclogged and a treatment strip was added to help keep the drain system clean.

Tech arrived at a membership tune-up. Tech was here a week ago for the capacitor. Upon inspection, the capacitor was within specs. The contactor was in working condition. The Delta was within range. The condenser coils were hosed off to assist with air flow across the coils. The filter was clean. The blower area was dirty. The UVC system was functioning. The customer was informed of recommendations today. He will revisit filter upgrades on the next visit. The system was functioning upon departure.

On arrival system was running and cooling producing a 17 degree delta. Indoor unit was clean and the drain lines flowed when flushed. Uv system non functional. Outdoor unit passed all electrical testing. Customer does not wish to pursue uv options at this time. System on and cooling as I left.

Landlord tenant situation customer has a water heater leaking needing to be replaced wrote some estimates for customer. He just wanted the estimate sent to him has other companies coming to give estimates as well. Customer will call us if he wants us to get it done for him. Tech arrived at a warranty tuneup. Upon inspection the capacitors were within specs. The contactors were in working condition. The condenser coils were hosed off to assist with air flow across the coils. The master unit was pulling high amperage upon startup. The filters were dirty and replaced. The master system ductwork was dirty. The drains were clear and bleach was poured. The customer was informed of recommendations today. He was informed that a lapse in membership may result in the loss of labor warranties. He will speak with his wife and call back in very soon. The tech will follow up at a later time. The systems were functioning upon departure.
Mike came to perform semi-annual service on our units. He noticed that dust was getting past the filter and recommended an improved filter compartment and filter. Now our air and ducts are cleaner.
Jose and team were excellent installing our new AC system. They were prompt, detailed in explaining the process and extremely nice through the day.
Michael was professional, thorough and very nice to work worth. He went through both of our systems well and got everything ship shape.
We had reached out to Comfort Experts to evaluate the challenges with our air conditioning units. Blake did a thorough inspection and shared with us to problems with the units. Blake shared good information to help us decide with the next steps
Austin was on time, well mannered and knew exactly what he was doing. I have called many plumbers and never really liked any of them bc they would walk with no shoe cover or leave mess. Austin was respectful, he wore his shoe cover without being asked, and left no mess. He was quick and just nice. I will definitely recommend Austin!!
I really like how they continue to give updates on arrival and make it easy to contact them about it by putting the phone link in the text. Blake arrived and diligently worked to diagnose the system and confirm. He communicated the issues to me very well. Sometimes service people can be abrupt or condescending or unwilling to fully explain. This wasn’t the case with Blame.

Diego was very thorough and explained us the problem. He suggested options and quickly resolved the issue.
This week our son's house had a backup of the cindenser that leaked into his bedroom closet. Blake as part of our maintenance checked our condenser drain and found it mostly clogged. Blake saved us from a damaging backup by finding and clearing the blockage. Well done Blake!

Total home HVAC replacement including inside and outside AC units, furnace, fancy electrical air filter, ductwork with old system removed and new one installed. EVERYTHING. I MEAN EVERYTHING POSSIBLE!!!!!! I spent a ton of money on all this with them - at least $15,000 which was way too much. But I knew that going into my interaction with them ONLY because it included a lifetime warranty which they have been trying to disavow now for the last 2-3 years now at least. Here we go again. Take my advice and don’t do business with them. You’ll be sorry if you do. Be forewarned. I’d give them a -10 review If I could. I have a feeling it’s going to end up in court but I’m gonna try the news media first. I’ve worked with them as much as humanly possible. I realize that they sold a product that’s turned out to be a lemon and defective but to try to pass that cost along to me after what I’ve done and paid and continue to do is wrong. I’d give them a negative 10 review on all I’ve described if I could. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Jhordon is one of your best tech’s I’ve seen in the many years I’ve dealt with your company. He and Phillip were very professional and very customer oriented. Not only did they begin their work promptly, arriving on time and making sure of the job requirements and time required were clear to us. Early on they pointed out the anticipated damages to the ceilings and dirt from very dirty ducts given the age of the house and the sealed registers. Extensive repairs and painting would be required to restore our house to an acceptable condition. Given the upcoming holiday season we decided to delay this job. Only dedicated, professional and responsible techs would have insured that continuing the job would result in a lot of additional time, cost and grief to us. Devyn was very professional and efficient. He inspect both of our systems and found both very dirty which explained why we are having dust blow throughout the house. He replaced both filters and showed me pictures of the dust and dirt. A very personable and knowledgeable young man. A good representative of your company.
Blake came near dark and worked for over an hour to be sure our units were in perfect working order. He noted the presence of dust buildup in the vents and told us duct cleaning was currently 50% off so we started the process to get our ducts cleaned. I do not let anyone but Hobson touch my heating and AC system because they have proven themselves to provide the very best service.
