Cristian was super helpful. He was incredibly knowledgeable, communicative, and made the entire process seamless.
Had routine tune-up on air conditioner unit that was running perfectly fine before service -with my outside unit, I felt tech kept wanting something to replace/repair – when declined recommendation(s) of wire cover and something else I cannot recall, tech inquired why and I said, "I do not have it" and he stated "can I ask what is going on" first red flag, why are you asking me such a question? Inside AC Unit – tech put 2 gallons of water @ once in tubing system in inside unit – (SHOULD HAVE ONLY PUT 1-2 CUPS) stated I had clogged – went to see and did not see any water backed up nor in drain pain – he stated oh, it's going through now – AC won’t come back on until unclog – need to blow out – cost $402.00 OVERCHARGED – Wanted to cut open box on top to look in to see if there were any bacteria – I declined – now after blowing out asked to sign statement that company not responsible for anything that may go wrong – WAS NOT ADVISE OF THIS BEFORE CHECKING FOR CLOG – MAY HAVE DECIDED TO END TUNE UP -AC stopped working 30 minutes after his departure – whole unit shut off – called back before noon – took 2 ½ hours to return – personnel/tech were pleasant but felt swindled – supervisor called me to discussed – i requested refund due to unit working perfectly fine – had been called at least twice a month asking me to do tune up – refund request denied but felt he could have provided discount – stated he would not charge me a service fee on next visit, i do not feel comfortable using again.
Daniel was an excellent technician. He diagnosed the issue quickly and fixed the problem. He also made recommendations to help in the future. The only problem is you are not given any time frame in which to expect the tech. The last 2 times I had service I was told between 8-5 and both times I made sure to be available all day and the tech didn’t get to me until after 4both times. I think they could do a little better in scheduling.
The tech was friendly and did a good job.
Work was done quickly and resolved the problem.
Daniel was quick, yet thorough. Everything checked out fine. He did point out some optional things that I might consider in the future.

Ian was a true blessing today! Im a New homeowner and only been in my home since April. So it was a huge surprise that i was having issues with my toilet backing up into my tub! Recently I had a great referral from Angies list and decided to do the same to find a plumber. Comfort experts were the first to call and Rebecca was extremely helpful in setting appointment. Within the hour I had a knock on my door and was greeted by Ian and his personable smile! Although I was hesitant to proceed after the quote Ian assured me that he was knowledgeable and his integrity spoke volumes! He treated me like a human being first and customer second which confirmed I made the right choice in moving forward with him completing the repair. Furthermore, Ian kept me informed with exactly what he was doing and completed the job in under an hour. Nathaniel from Comfort Experts did an excellent job with my electrical inspection. He was quick, thorough, and professional, ensuring everything was checked properly while maintaining a polite and friendly demeanor. Highly recommend their service!
I addressed a system issue where the primary drain line was disconnected, causing water to pour into the cabinet and garage. I implemented a temporary fix to resolve the leak. Additionally, I confirmed the need for a new TXB and noted the absence of a flu pipe on the gas system. The system was not cooling effectively and running continuously. I obtained authorization from the homeowner to fix the drain line issue and completed the task. A Comfort Advisor is scheduled to arrive for custom system upgrades.
I conducted a thorough evaluation of the system, confirming that indoor running was operational while outdoor functionality was not. Upon inspection, the outdoor unit's contactor was found to be failing to pass 240V. All other components were verified to be in good condition, and refrigerant levels were adequate. The outdoor unit was cleaned, and the faulty contactor was replaced. Post-repair, the system began cooling effectively without any further issues. Thank you for choosing our services.
During this service visit, I thoroughly inspected both cooling systems. I began by washing and replacing the air filters in each unit to ensure optimal performance and air quality. I then conducted a detailed evaluation of the systems while they were operating in cooling mode. Both systems demonstrated a superheat of 10 degrees and a subcooling of 8 degrees, indicating efficient operation. Additionally, I performed comprehensive system tests to assess overall performance and tolerance. The results showed no immediate need for replacement parts, as the systems are currently functioning within acceptable parameters. I ensured that all components were operating correctly and provided recommendations for future maintenance to ensure continued efficiency.
Upon arrival, I identified that the thermostats were blank, indicating a potential issue with the system. I began by checking the high voltage supply to the unit located in the attic. I discovered that the main voltage line was connected to an old bus fuse switch, which was found to be faulty. To resolve this, I bypassed the defective fuse switch, allowing the unit to receive power again. After bypassing the switch, I verified that the unit was now functioning correctly. I also checked all communications between the thermostats and the condenser, ensuring seamless operation. Additionally, I inspected the Freon levels, confirming they were within the appropriate range. The system is now operating correctly. I then informed the customer about the new comfort care club and collected payment via credit card.
I completed a thorough residential renovation project, focusing on enhancing comfort and efficiency. I meticulously removed three old window units, ensuring a clean and safe removal process. Each unit was carefully dismantled and disposed of, maintaining a tidy workspace throughout. Following the removal, I inspected the window frames for any necessary repairs or adjustments, ensuring a smooth transition for the installation of new units. The project was completed efficiently, reflecting our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Thank you for choosing our services.
I arrived for a diagnostic check and found that the condenser's capacitor was faulty. I replaced it under warranty, but the fan still did not activate despite receiving power. I then inspected the fan motor and determined it needed replacement. After installing a new fan motor, I tested the system to ensure everything was functioning correctly. The refrigerant levels were checked and found to be optimal. The system is now operating efficiently, and I am glad to have resolved the issue. Thank you for choosing our services.
We began by assessing the current water heater and frost-free hydrant to determine the necessary upgrades. After evaluating the system, we provided a detailed estimate for the replacement of the water heater and the installation of a new frost-free hydrant. We ensured the new hydrant would be positioned on the front of the property for easy access. To prevent potential water damage, we installed a water alarm system that would alert homeowners of any leaks. We also plugged the pan to maintain a secure setup. The frost-free hydrant replacement required us to crawl under the home to disconnect it from the PEX tubing and connect the new unit. Throughout the process, we maintained a high standard of safety and efficiency to ensure a seamless transition.
During this service, I successfully restored proper airflow throughout the entire house by replacing the faulty blower motor. The blower motor was the primary issue, preventing adequate air circulation. After identifying the problem, I carefully removed the old motor and installed a new one, ensuring it was securely connected and functioning correctly. Additionally, I located and documented the specifications of the evaporator coil and condenser, even though the system furnace lacked a data plate. This information will be crucial for future maintenance and potential replacements. The system is now operating efficiently, providing consistent and reliable airflow.
Upon arrival, we assessed an issue caused by a tree that had slightly pulled down the service lines. Despite the minor disruption, all systems remained operational, and the meter was functioning. The customer was advised to contact the power company for reconnection. If further action is needed, we will evaluate the situation to determine if a panel change or meter and service upgrade is necessary. Additionally, an AC technician was present to address other concerns, with follow-up scheduled once the power company has assessed the situation.
Upon arrival, I identified a malfunction in the drain system, specifically a broken component within the male drain pan. After careful inspection, I successfully retrieved the broken part and assessed the drainline for any additional issues. Adjustments were made to ensure proper alignment and functionality. Post-adjustment, I conducted a thorough test to confirm that the system was operating efficiently. The drain system is now fully functional, with no signs of leakage or further complications.
I successfully addressed the drainage issue under the crawl space at the back of the house. Despite the extremely limited space, I managed to access the unit beneath the structure. The homeowner has authorized me to sign the necessary forms, as required by local regulations. To improve access and safety, I recommended installing a service door between the two systems in the back area. I have a photo with my precise location marked, which is attached to the summary for reference. This addition will enhance future maintenance and inspections.
Upon arrival, I identified a significant issue with the drain line connected to the coil pan, which had cracked from the male fitting. This damage necessitates the replacement of the coil pan. I communicated the situation to the renter, emphasizing the urgency of the homeowner's response to expedite the repair process. A drain form has been sent to the homeowner, and I advised against using the unit until the problem is resolved to prevent potential water damage. The renter was informed and shown the form, but it remains unsigned. This level 4 quote will cover the cost of a new coil drain pan. Thank you for choosing our services.
Upon receiving a call for a system evaluation after a power surge, I began diagnostics at the thermostat, which had reset to default settings. The inconsistent temperature fluctuations were traced to the thermostat's default schedule, causing swings from 72°F to 83°F. I adjusted and reset the schedule to maintain a stable cooling setpoint of 73°F. After verifying proper system operation, the air conditioning was confirmed to be cooling effectively. No further issues were detected.
I conducted a comprehensive Super Tune-Up on the gas HVAC system. Starting with the outdoor unit, I cleaned the condenser coils and checked refrigerant pressures, ensuring they met manufacturer specifications. All electrical components were inspected and confirmed to operate correctly. Inside, I verified a 20°+ temperature split across the supply and return plenums. I poured 2 gallons of water into the primary drain line to ensure proper drainage and flow. The air filter was replaced, and I found dust in the return plenum and an inoperative UV bulb in the supply plenum. I discussed these findings and three available options with the customer, who requested time to consult with her husband.
We successfully completed a comprehensive three-hour service today, ensuring all tasks were meticulously executed. The job began with a thorough inspection of the area, followed by the installation of new fixtures. Our team then proceeded to repair and replace any faulty components, ensuring everything was functioning optimally. Attention to detail was paramount, as we calibrated and tested each system to guarantee peak performance. Additionally, we cleaned up the workspace, leaving it in pristine condition. Throughout the process, we maintained clear communication with the client, providing updates and addressing any concerns promptly. The job was completed efficiently, adhering to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

The customer requested the replacement and installation of a new motor for their existing system. I sourced a compatible motor and ensured it met all necessary specifications. After confirming the motor's suitability, I proceeded with the installation. This involved carefully disassembling the old motor, connecting the new motor to the system, and testing it to ensure proper functionality. Throughout the process, I maintained a clean and organized workspace. The installation was completed successfully, and the system is now operating efficiently. The customer is satisfied with the work and has paid for the motor and installation services.
During today's visit, I thoroughly inspected all heating and cooling systems. Each component was tested to ensure they were operating within the specified tolerances. I found that implementing soft starts for all systems is crucial to managing the inrush current and maintaining their electrical health. This proactive measure helps prolong the lifespan of the systems, ensuring they remain efficient and reliable. Additionally, I cleaned all systems, including washing the components and replacing the filters. This maintenance will enhance the overall performance and longevity of the systems.
I performed a comprehensive tune-up on the system. The filter was in good condition, and the UV bulb was functioning properly. The primary drain pan had overflowed due to a clogged drainage, which I cleared to restore proper flow. I verified the drainage with several gallons of water. The refrigerant levels were adequate, but the cap was out of tolerance, so I replaced it under the PnL. The unit was washed to ensure cleanliness. I also discussed Star Labor options and Comfort Club with the homeowner, who opted for Star labor 2030. The system was cooling effectively when I left. Thank you for choosing our services.
Upon arrival, I conducted a comprehensive super tune-up on the system. The refrigerant lines were found to be frozen, and the outdoor coil was heavily soiled, restricting airflow and diminishing system efficiency. A temperature split measurement at the upstairs unit revealed a 10° differential between the plenums, indicating inadequate cooling on the supply side. The supply plenum was extremely loose, necessitating repair or replacement. I attempted to contact the customer's husband to discuss repair options, but calls were unsuccessful due to a full voicemail box. Consequently, we couldn't confirm the preferred repair options. The outdoor unit requires a deep cleaning to remove the heavy dirt buildup, and the supply plenum will need replacement. The system was safely shut off at the end of the visit. Thank you for choosing Comfort Experts!
I scheduled a phone call with the customer to discuss their interest in a micro air soft start device. They expressed a desire for a follow-up call to decide on the purchase. During the scheduled call, the customer did not answer. I attempted to reach them multiple times but was unable to connect. I will attempt to reschedule the follow-up call to provide further information and address any questions they may have.
Today, I conducted a thorough evaluation of the homeowner's HVAC system. Upon inspection, it was determined that there is a significant leak in the evaporator coil, which is preventing the system from cooling the home effectively. This catastrophic leak has led to a substantial loss of refrigerant, rendering the system incapable of providing any cooling. Despite the rest of the system functioning properly, the lack of refrigerant means the home remains uncomfortably warm. To address this issue, I have scheduled a meeting between 3 and 5 PM today to discuss and propose custom system upgrades that will resolve the leak and enhance the overall efficiency of the HVAC system.
Today, I performed a comprehensive AC tune-up on the system. During the inspection, I conducted a series of tests to ensure the system's performance was within tolerance levels. The superheat (SH) was measured at 6 degrees, and the subcooling (SC) was 7.8 degrees, both of which are within acceptable ranges. However, I identified that the evaporator coil could benefit from a thorough cleaning. I recommend a system cut and pull cleaning to remove any accumulated dirt and debris, which will enhance efficiency and performance. Additionally, I suggest implementing a soft start (SOF5) to reduce stress on the compressor during startup, ensuring a longer lifespan for the system and improved energy efficiency.
