Super informative and very kind
Jake did a great job getting our exterior floodlights working after being out of commission for many years. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.
The gentleman used a sheet metal screw to remove a protective red cap on the refrigerant line instead of a special key. He checked the motor capacitor and quoted a price to replace it which is at least 10 times the Amazon equipment price which I accepted and honored. He checked the refrigerant pressure and had to call the office because he did not understand the values. He wanted to check the air filter, wanted to know when it was installed (May 2026) he wanted to install a new air filter. I insisted that an air filter could not be the problem. He added some refrigerant and got better pressure readings but not adequate. He quoted a price of about $800 for a leak test. At that, I asked the gentleman to leave and paid what I owed. Previously, the problem was a valve at the evaporator coil and it had to be replaced several times over the years. He did not act on this information but wanted to do a leak test. This firm appears to charge an excessive amount for their services. I will not use this firm again.
You charge way too much for your service 🦇
Was very helpful explaining system and providing tips I can use to help the system work more effectively.
James did an excellent job maintaining our AC system. He was courteous, professional and helpful with his work and explained how I should my share of the maintenance. I would recommend him.
Great service! Technician Adam cared about workmanship.
Daniel Andrade really saved my bacon when my HVAC had a part fail over the weekend in mid-August — he diagnosed the issue immediately and had the part on-hand, ready to go!
Wade took the time in this blistering heat to actually find the problem and help with a solution… great work and very reasonably priced.
Jake and Hunter did an electrical tuneup. They were thorough with checking the electrical items and addressed my questions. They recommended updates and gave estimates. Very professional! I appreciate that Comfort Experts sends a text and email to inform the customer who the technician is (with picture) and that they are on their way.

Adam really took the time to throughly inspect our plumbing and really spoke to what needed to be fixed in terms that made sense for folks who know little of plumbing. I appreciated his honesty and humor breaking down the rather long list of things I’ll eventually need to fix.
I got AIR right away. COLD!!!

Ian was a true blessing today! Im a New homeowner and only been in my home since April. So it was a huge surprise that i was having issues with my toilet backing up into my tub! Recently I had a great referral from Angies list and decided to do the same to find a plumber. Comfort experts were the first to call and Rebecca was extremely helpful in setting appointment. Within the hour I had a knock on my door and was greeted by Ian and his personable smile! Although I was hesitant to proceed after the quote Ian assured me that he was knowledgeable and his integrity spoke volumes! He treated me like a human being first and customer second which confirmed I made the right choice in moving forward with him completing the repair. Nathaniel from Comfort Experts did an excellent job with my electrical inspection. He was quick, thorough, and professional, ensuring everything was checked properly while maintaining a polite and friendly demeanor. Highly recommend their service!
I was called to address an issue with the downstairs cooling system. Upon inspection, I identified a failed capacitor as the root cause. I replaced the faulty capacitor and conducted a thorough test of the unit's operations. After the replacement, the system successfully started cooling. Additionally, I noticed that both condenser coils were heavily soiled. I meticulously cleaned them to ensure optimal performance. The system is now running efficiently and providing the desired cooling. Thank you for the opportunity to assist.
On August 1, I conducted a thorough evaluation of the system. The primary issue was that the outdoor unit was not operational. Upon inspection, I discovered that the system was completely devoid of refrigerant. Further investigation revealed a leak at the field weld. After consulting with Ryan, it was confirmed that this issue would be covered under the warranty. I proceeded to repair the weld by brazing it and refilled the refrigerant. Following this, I pulled a vacuum to remove any air and moisture, ensuring the system was properly sealed. The system is now fully operational.
Upon inspection, it was determined that the existing water heater was leaking, necessitating a replacement. The task involved removing the old 30-gallon gas water heater and installing a new one of the same capacity. The process included disconnecting the old unit, ensuring all gas lines and electrical connections were safely handled. The new heater was then installed, and all connections were securely reattached. Testing was conducted to confirm proper functionality, ensuring the new unit operates efficiently and safely. The job was completed with attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
I visited the customer's residence to provide a quote for a panel change. The customer had a stab lock panel, which was in need of replacement. During our previous conversation, I explained that insurance would not cover any electrical fires or issues stemming from the outdated panel. The customer contacted their insurance company, who confirmed the necessity of the panel change. After receiving this confirmation, the customer reached out to us again. I revisited the site to reiterate the importance of the panel change and provided multiple quotes for various options. I detailed the benefits of choosing our services, including our membership with the customer. The customer expressed interest in obtaining additional quotes from other service providers due to the scale of the job. I assured them I would follow up in a few days to see if they had made a decision or were still exploring other options.
Upon inspection, the system's filter was heavily contaminated, obstructing the flow of hot air. I initiated a hard restart to reset the system. After safely removing the dirty filter, I ensured the system was clean and operational. The system is now fully functional and prepared for cooling, providing optimal performance and efficiency.
I conducted a comprehensive tune-up on the HVAC system, starting with a thorough inspection and cleaning of the outdoor coil. The air filter was replaced, and I resealed an air leak on the supply plenum to enhance efficiency. I also tested the system's drains using 2 gallons of water, ensuring they are clear. Electrical components were checked, and refrigerant levels were verified, with a delta T of 20° recorded. The outdoor unit's overload protector cap was replaced under warranty due to out-of-tolerance readings. I recommended upgrading the current UV system due to a burnt-out bulb and significant biological growth in the air handler and plenum. Additionally, a soft start kit for the outdoor unit was suggested to improve efficiency and extend the compressor's lifespan. The system was tested for proper operation, and it is currently running and cooling effectively.
During the visit, I discussed the benefits of our new membership with the customer, highlighting the additional discounts and lifetime warranty on parts, including plumbing and electrical work. Despite her recent investment in a new AC system, she declined to address the wobbly fan or add surge, lightning protection. I provided her with several quotes and emailed them for her reference. This ensures she has options if her usual handyman is unable to handle tasks beyond his capabilities. The customer appreciated the information and may consider our services for future needs.
During the service, I thoroughly inspected both the heating and cooling systems. The cooling system is functioning well, with the supply and return temperatures within the acceptable range. However, I noticed that the house lights flicker whenever the system activates. This issue can be addressed by installing a soft start device, which will help mitigate the flickering and ensure a smoother operation of the system.
I performed comprehensive super tune-ups on two gas furnace systems. This involved a thorough inspection of both mechanical and electrical components to ensure maximum efficiency. Both systems exhibited optimal refrigerant levels, and I replaced the air filters. Additionally, I cleaned the outside units. Under the customer's approval, I replaced the capacitor in the upstairs unit. I also recommended cleaning the blower, installing compressor savers, and replacing pan strips, though the customer opted to decide on these items later. Thank you for choosing our services.
Today, I thoroughly inspected the entire HVAC system, ensuring optimal performance. I checked the refrigerant levels, examined all electronic components, and verified proper airflow. Additionally, I inspected the quality of the system and ensured the drain lines were clear. Everything was in excellent condition. The customer appreciated the comprehensive service and decided to discontinue the membership, opting for bi-annual servicing instead. Thank you for choosing our expertise.
I inspected a 4-ton straight cool system paired with a gas furnace located in the attic. Upon examination, the evaporator coil was severely rusted, significantly impairing its functionality. The rust had caused substantial blockages in the condensate drain, leading to potential water damage and reduced efficiency. Given the extensive corrosion and drain issues, I concluded that investing further into this system would not be prudent. The current state of the system necessitates a complete replacement rather than repair.
I recently completed a comprehensive gas closet unit service, specifically addressing a Level 3 issue. This involved a thorough inspection and cleaning of the gas closet unit, ensuring all components were functioning correctly and safely. Additionally, I performed a Level 1 duct cleaning, which included removing any accumulated dust, debris, and contaminants from the ductwork. This process enhances air quality and improves the efficiency of the heating and cooling systems. My attention to detail and expertise ensured that both the gas closet unit and the ductwork were left in optimal condition.
I conducted a comprehensive tune-up on the system, addressing several critical issues. The germicidal bulb was found to be burnt out, which I replaced to restore proper functionality. Additionally, the hard start component was identified as faulty, and after discussing the implications with the customer, we proceeded with its replacement. Although the customer was aware that the thermal expansion valve (TXV) was not operating optimally, they opted to continue using the system as it was still partially functional. To ensure optimal performance, I also cleared the drains and changed the filter. These steps were taken to maintain the system's efficiency and reliability.
We conducted a thorough evaluation and discovered a severe bacterial growth issue within the ductwork of the air conditioning system, dating from 2011. A comfort advisor will visit between 10 and 12 AM to discuss custom system upgrades and coordinate with a restoration company to eliminate the bacterial growth. The advisor will ensure the system is free from contaminants and recommend measures to prevent future outbreaks.
I conducted a comprehensive super tune-up on the heat pump system, meticulously examining all mechanical and electrical components to ensure maximum efficiency. The air filter was inspected and found to be in good condition, and refrigerant levels were verified to be optimal. All system functions were tested and confirmed to be operating correctly. Additionally, I cleared any blockages in the drains to maintain proper system performance. The customer has scheduled a duct cleaning level 1 for next Monday, September 7, at 12 pm. Thank you for choosing our services; we strive to provide the best care for your heating and cooling needs. Have a great day!
I recently assisted a customer who was in the process of comparing various options for their needs. After a thorough discussion about their requirements and budget, I provided detailed information about the available products and services. The customer appreciated the insights and decided to take some time to consider their options. They expressed their intention to call back tomorrow to finalize their decision, ensuring they make an informed choice.
I was called to address an HVAC system that wasn't cooling. The homeowner reported it had been inoperable since our last visit in September 2025. Upon arrival, the temperature was 93 degrees inside. I diagnosed a faulty compressor cap, which was not wired in. After replacing the cap and testing the unit, the system started cooling. The Delta T was 20°, with a return temperature of 93° and a supply temperature of 72°. I informed the homeowner about low refrigerant levels and the need to fix the leak, but they chose to leave the system as is. The system was left running and cooling.
installation outside where they preferred and another near the panel. They chose the latter due to an upcoming trip. Unfortunately, the cover for the charger was unavailable, but the customer decided to order it separately. They were satisfied with the service and will update us on the cover situation. The customer expressed happiness with the arrangement.
Upon receiving the task, I began by thoroughly inspecting the secondary system to identify the root cause of persistent drainage issues. Despite a recent rebuild of the drain line, the problem persisted. Through extensive research and analysis, I discovered that the system required a vent before the P-trap and an additional vent after it, along with adjustments to ensure proper fall. Implementing these changes, I successfully resolved the drainage issue, ensuring the secondary system no longer drips. The system now functions efficiently, providing a reliable solution to the problem. Thank you for choosing our services.
Upon evaluation, it was noted that the daughter's room was the hottest in the house, while the son's room was notably colder than the others. A Y transition duct was identified, with the right side being colder. To address the airflow imbalance, I quoted for a Y transition duct box. Additionally, I discussed the benefits of installing a zone system and even suggested a second system downstairs, though the customer declined these options for now. Thank you for choosing our services. Have a great day.
I conducted a comprehensive super tune-up on the unit, ensuring all components were functioning within normal specifications. I meticulously inspected each part, confirming they met the required standards. Although I did not check insulation levels, the homeowner assured me they were within normal limits. My thorough examination included verifying the efficiency of the heating and cooling systems, checking electrical connections, and ensuring the unit's overall performance was optimal. I also cleaned and lubricated moving parts, replaced any necessary filters, and tested the system's response to various settings. Thank you for choosing our services; we strive to provide the best care for your comfort needs.
I conducted a thorough evaluation and cleared the customer's drain at no charge due to significant biological growth within the system. Recognizing the need for enhanced protection, the customer opted to upgrade to an antibacterial germicidal light. I installed the light, ensuring it was properly integrated into the system. Following the installation, I meticulously tested the entire system to confirm its optimal functionality. The customer expressed gratitude for choosing our services, and I ensured everything was working as promised.
A client contacted us for assistance when their husband was unexpectedly called into work. They needed help with various household tasks that required immediate attention. I arrived promptly and assessed the situation, identifying the most urgent tasks. I began by organizing their kitchen, ensuring everything was in order and easy to access. Next, I tackled the laundry, separating and washing clothes, and then folding and putting them away. I also cleaned the living room, vacuuming and dusting to create a tidy environment. Additionally, I prepared a simple meal for the family, ensuring it was both nutritious and quick to make. Throughout the process, I maintained clear communication with the client, updating them on my progress and addressing any additional needs they might have had. The job was completed efficiently, allowing the family to focus on their day without any additional stress.
Upon inspection, the air conditioning system was found to have a significant freon deficiency, which is critical for proper cooling. Additionally, there was a noticeable oil leak at the top of the unit, indicating potential internal damage or wear. The fan motor was also compromised, with visible signs of oil contamination. The reversing valve exhibited similar issues, with oil leakage and potential mechanical failure. These findings suggest a need for a comprehensive evaluation of the system. A discussion about potential system replacement is scheduled for tomorrow at 10 am to address these concerns effectively.
During this visit, I replaced the faulty 10uf capacitor on the blower motor, which was causing the motor to malfunction. Additionally, I diagnosed and resolved the issue with the high-speed setting, which had stopped working. I carefully inspected the motor and wiring, identified the root cause, and successfully swapped the speeds to ensure the blower operates correctly at all settings. The system is now fully functional.
