Upon arrival for tune up system on and heating. Inspected outdoor unit. Fan and compressor amp draw within unit specifications. Capacitor within tolerance. Refrigerant pressure good. Inspected indoor unit. Blower and coil clean. Drain line clear. Inducer amp draw within unit specifications. Flame ignited and heated properly.
1/6/22 upon arrival found system heating. Checked delta and charge. Both were good as the charge was a little less than 100 above ambient. Delta was 20 with a 70 degree return and a 90 degree supply temp. Cleaned condenser and checked capacitor. Capacitor was reading within specs. Noticed that neither system had surge protection on them. Informed customer and they decided to get a surge protector on the indoor system due to the indoor system having low voltage controls, uv light system, etc. system was left heating and no further issues were found. Customer wants a surge protector on her condenser but is holding off for now.
Thoroughly performed a super tune up, washed condenser out and checked components. Dual run good, condenser fan has hot spots, contactor burned up, evaporator coil rusted up, furnace functioning but extremely dirty and the system is R22. System upgrade due to age and R22 phase out, customer has a home warranty she will call.
Performed a super tune up. Refrigerant levels are low, compressor amps high, contactor burned up, evaporator coil extremely rusted and falling apart, igniter corroded, no sediment trap or drain Safety and the system is R22. Due to the age and condition of the system, highly recommended upgrading to something more efficient and up to code before EPA regulations happen in 2023. Customer wants to meet with an advisor but needs to speak with his wife first. I’m setting reminder
Blower motor leaking oil, spark ignitor, heat exchanger rusty and thermal spots, furnace upgrade do to age condition safety and efficiency.
Upon arrival I checked the indoor unit for heating functionality and it worked how it should. Filter needs replacing but customer did not have one on hand. The outdoor unit ran well and the capacitor was within tolerance. All the amp draws were where they should be according to system specs. Left customer in heating with a 20⁰ delta.
12/1/22 Upon arrival found system heating and cooling. Removed flame sensor and cleaned it with a dollar bill. Checked filter and it needed a new one, customer did not have one on him so we put the old one back. Heating operation was good. Checked heat output, 100 degree air coming out of vents. Inspected outside unit. Checked capacitor, rated 45 reading 43. Cleaned outside coil. Cleaned and waxed outside housing on outside unit. Left system with heating and cooling working properly, no further issues found.
HTU HUNTER K 11/21/22 Upon arrival system running and heating I evaluated the indoor system. Return slightly dusty customer is past the 2 year anniversary of having ducts cleaned. Swapped filter for customer. UV BULB was burnt out past it's one year anniversary of being put in. Customer elected to get it replaced. Blower motor slightly dusty but functioning. Coil clean and functional. Heat strips within spec. Disconnect good. I evaluated the outdoor system system. Capacitor was within spec. Contactor good. Defrost board good. Compressor saver kit functional. Coils clean. Compressor within spec and running properly. Fan motor running and within spec. Refrigerant levels within range. Customer purchased uv bulb with check Left system running and cooling
Customer will call in after thanksgiving to get work done I will need 3/4 inch clear hose 2 ft
