Neat, prompt, professional. Problem identify quickly and repaired accomplished. Great job!
I needed a light changed on a 20 plus foot ceiling and somehow Jake got the wrong message saying he needed to change out a lightning rod?? Anyways he was so nice and he used a tall pole to switch the lightbulb out and it still didn’t work. He then tried other things and he finally crawled into the attic and was able to fix. I like the fact that he never said it couldn’t be done, and he didn’t give up until he figured it out. Very positive attitude.
Explained the extent of the damage to our A/C unit and was able to make the repairs while we waited.

A customer requested that the faucet handle be raised higher. I explained that such adjustments based on preference would incur additional charges. The customer became upset and insisted on speaking with a manager. We agreed that once the customer drills a new hole in the tile and replaces it, we would return to raise the faucet handle to the desired height. We clarified that we would only be responsible for moving the valve to the new location and would not be liable for any other work related to the tile replacement.
Upon evaluation, it was discovered that the condensers were covered by wood and planks by the roofing company, causing the system to overheat and shut down for 3-4 hours. The system was running during this time, and the compressor over-amped by 19 amps compared to the LRA on the data tag. A soft start device was installed to reduce the startup amp draws and extend the life of the compressor. Additionally, the flue pipe had come undone and needed to be reattached, but the area around it on the roof was not sealed. The customer will meet with the roofing company to address this issue. The capacitor was also replaced under warranty to prevent callback. The fan motor may have been compromised due to extreme heat, but it will not be replaced under warranty.
Upon arrival, I assessed the customer's concerns about the home's temperature. After thoroughly inspecting the unit, I found no major issues but identified that the unit was undersized and the insulation levels were low. I explained these findings to the customer, emphasizing the need for a more suitable solution. The customer is considering replacement options for a future upgrade. I provided guidance on potential improvements and reassured the customer of our commitment to their comfort. Thank you for choosing Comfort Experts; we look forward to assisting you further.
Upon arrival, I assessed the lavatory drain, which was exhibiting signs of leakage whenever the faucet was in use. I began by thoroughly inspecting the drain assembly to identify the source of the leak. After pinpointing the issue, I proceeded to disassemble the necessary components to access the damaged parts. I replaced the faulty parts with new ones, ensuring they were securely fitted to prevent future leaks. Following the repair, I reassembled the drain and conducted a comprehensive test by running water through the faucet. The repair was successful, as the drain no longer leaked, and the lavatory functioned smoothly without any issues. The customer was satisfied with the resolution of the problem.
Upon arrival, I assessed the need to replace filters on two out of four units. During my inspection, I discovered that the customer had procured the incorrect filters. I promptly informed them of this and provided detailed information about the correct filters required. The customer took notes and opted to proceed with the installation of 1-inch filters temporarily while they acquire the proper ones. Additionally, I coordinated with a plumber who was scheduled to address an issue in the downstairs restroom. Throughout the service, I also took the opportunity to inform the customer about our new membership program, highlighting its benefits. Thank you for choosing our services. Have a great day!
I successfully reattached a door that had been removed. First, I inspected the door frame and hinges to ensure everything was in good condition. I then carefully aligned the door with the frame and secured it using the appropriate hardware. After ensuring the door was properly aligned and fastened, I tested its functionality by opening and closing it multiple times to confirm smooth operation. The job was completed efficiently, and no signatures were required.
Upon evaluation, I identified that the indoor blower motor is non-functional, which is preventing the system from operating correctly. The furnace cap appears to be within the acceptable tolerance range. Standing pressure checks out, but I cannot definitively rule out other underlying issues until the blower motor is repaired. The system in question is a 2002 Trane furnace. Upon completion of my assessment, the system remained inoperative, and I ensured it was safely shut down before leaving the site.
During the service, I began by replacing the air filter to ensure optimal air quality and system efficiency. A thorough inspection of the entire system was conducted, confirming that the coils were clean and the drains were clear. I recommended replacing the compressor cap due to it being out of tolerance, which could lead to increased strain on the compressor. However, the homeowner decided to leave it as is. The homeowner approved the spring pan treatment, and the refrigerant checks were found to be in good condition. Additionally, the homeowner expressed interest in the IAQ 200 system and requested more time to discuss the UV system. The system was left operational and is currently cooling effectively, despite the outdoor cap issue. Thank you for the opportunity to service your system.
During the inspection, I meticulously examined the electrical system and identified several instances of improper wiring. These issues included incorrect wire connections and potential safety hazards. Despite these findings, the system was still operating as intended. I provided detailed recommendations for correcting the wiring to ensure compliance with safety standards and optimal performance. The client was informed about the necessary improvements to maintain the system's efficiency and safety.

During the evaluation, I identified a leak in the line set caused by condensation. I attempted to patch the issue to mitigate further damage. Despite the system currently running, it is experiencing problems such as water leakage, elevated electricity bills, and biological growth. The homeowners have decided to delay a new system installation until December. To address these concerns, I scheduled a comprehensive review with the mother and daughter, who recently moved into the home. This review will cover potential replacement upgrades and financing options. A comfort advisor is set to visit tomorrow between 6 and 8 PM to provide further details.
Upon arrival, I conducted a thorough evaluation of the system. The zoned system was not operational indoors or outdoors. Upon inspection, I discovered a blockage in the drain line. After removing the safety switch top, the system activated and began to cool. I then checked the refrigerant levels and electrical components, finding no other issues at this time. The drain line was cleared to ensure proper functioning. I also discussed the benefits of upgrading to the Comfort Club, which offers enhanced features and benefits. The system was cooling effectively when I departed.
During the evaluation, I identified significant issues with the condenser coil, which was heavily caked. The unit was also operating above its LRA rating, leading to frequent on-off cycling. To address this, I cleaned the condenser coil thoroughly to remove the buildup. Additionally, I installed a compressor saver kit to manage and lower the rush amperage, preventing the unit from overheating. This intervention should enhance the unit's efficiency and longevity. Refrigerant levels were found to be within normal limits, and no other significant issues were detected. Thank you for choosing our services.
During the cooling tune-up, I began by replacing the air filters to ensure optimal airflow. I checked the system's pressure differential, which was within the acceptable range, and ensured the drain was clear to prevent any water buildup. The furnace components were inspected and found to be in good working condition. I also recommended a duct cleaning to enhance indoor air quality. The refrigerant levels were verified to be adequate, and the caps were secure. Both indoor and outdoor units were washed to improve efficiency. Additionally, I suggested installing start kits to reduce inrush current and extend the compressor's lifespan, along with surge protectors for added electrical protection. I explained the benefits of the Comfort Club, but the homeowner declined all recommendations. The system was cooling effectively when I left.
During the service, I conducted a thorough evaluation of the system, focusing on the issue where the outside fan was not operating. Upon inspection, I discovered that the capacitor had failed, resulting in the fan's inability to run. To resolve this, I replaced the faulty capacitor, which was covered under the parts and labor warranty. Additionally, I recommended installing a micro air soft start to help improve the compressor's amperage, explaining the benefits and reasons for this upgrade. Although the customer chose to defer this recommendation for now, I ensured they understood its advantages. Thank you for choosing our services. Have a great day!
The customer's system is now fully operational, ensuring optimal performance and comfort. I meticulously inspected and cleared all drains, eliminating any blockages and restoring proper flow. My expertise and attention to detail have successfully resolved the issues, providing immediate relief and peace of mind. Thank you for entrusting your comfort to our skilled team.
I visited to swap out a light bulb, which turned out to be lower than expected. After the bulb replacement, we discussed additional tasks involving the removal of light fixtures. The customer also mentioned her upcoming move and inquired about transferring her membership and securing a home warranty for her new residence. I explained the maintenance requirements for the warranty and provided detailed guidance. The light bulb swap was quick and efficient, completed without the need for a ladder.
On 6/2/26, I arrived to address the recurring issue with the condenser. After inspecting the system, I replaced the outside condenser board. Despite the replacement, the unit continued to malfunction. I informed the customer that we will schedule a compressor replacement as soon as it is available. Thank you for choosing our services. Have a great day!
I successfully repaired the condenser, ensuring it operates efficiently. The process involved replacing faulty components and meticulously reassembling the system. After thorough testing, I confirmed that all parts were correctly installed and functioning. Notably, I cleared the previously clogged drains, enhancing the system's performance. The condenser is now running smoothly, providing reliable service. Thank you for choosing our expertise.
Upon arrival, I found the system was not operational. After reviewing the error code 06, indicating an issue with the compressor's start winding, I replaced the capacitor and hard start with a relay system. Despite these changes, the same error persisted. Further diagnosis revealed a potential fault with the control board or the compressor's start winding. I discussed the situation with the customer, who understood the potential outcomes. If the board replacement resolves the issue, no extra charges apply. If not, a compressor replacement will be necessary, with a refrigerant deductible. The customer agreed to proceed with the outlined plan.
I arrived to complete the recommended work that was quoted yesterday. Upon arrival, I began the task promptly. During the process, Adam joined us and discussed an issue with a blood stop that lacked an outlet for drainage. We identified the need to add an outlet to manage the flood situation effectively. After assessing the area, we successfully installed the necessary outlet. The work was completed efficiently, ensuring the area was safe and functional. I am now ready to move on to my next task.
During the recent service, I addressed issues with the drain lines for three systems. The middle system's drain line was improperly vented, causing it to drain through the secondary system. To resolve this, I added a vent before the P-trap, ensuring proper drainage. Similarly, I identified and corrected the vent issue in the front system's drain line. After implementing these changes, I thoroughly tested all three drain lines to confirm they were functioning correctly. The systems are now draining as intended, providing relief and efficiency. Thank you for choosing our services.
During the electrical inspection, we identified a problem with a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) that was affecting the operation of the refrigerators. This issue was causing inconvenience for the customer, who wanted to separate the fridge and freezer circuits from the others to ensure better functionality. We discussed the need for a new circuit dedicated solely to the fridge and freezer. After providing a detailed quote for the work, we scheduled a return visit for the following morning as the first call to complete the task. This will ensure that the refrigerators have a stable and separate power supply, enhancing their performance and reliability.
I completed a comprehensive drain line renovation, upgrading all three lines to a 1-inch diameter and securely connecting them to the vent stack. This enhancement ensures improved drainage efficiency and prevents future blockages. Additionally, I installed Jones valves and shut-off valves to isolate each system, allowing for easy maintenance and cleaning. Post-installation, I meticulously tested each system to confirm optimal functionality. This meticulous approach guarantees reliable performance and peace of mind. Thank you for choosing our services.
