For many people that need an AC and heating repair, it can come as a surprise. It may feel like one day you were comfortable in your home and going about your daily schedule, and the next you wake up sweating and wondering what went wrong. The next steps you take are going to be crucial because the HVAC company you go with will make a big difference in the longevity of your unit and the experience you have.
Here are a few things that you should expect from a Crowley, TX , air conditioning and heating repair company:
You would be surprised how many people will claim to be able to repair your HVAC unit, only to find that they don’t have the proper certifications to perform the job according to the laws. In the same vein, some companies won’t provide you with technicians who have experience with the many different units that are in the market today. You want to bring in a company that knows how to give you quality installations that provide energy-efficient solutions to save you money on your bills as well as future repairs.
It can be hard to fit an air conditioning service into your day. The best companies know that your time is precious. Finding a company that is prompt in their services and shows up on time will make sure that you don’t skip a beat – and the interior temperature of your home won’t either.
While you don’t always want to hear that there is something wrong with your AC and heating unit, you do want the person who is explaining it to you to be friendly and clear. Knowing what to expect will help take the stress off because you’ll know when the AC and heating repair will take place, as well as how long it will take to get you back up and running. Plus, you’ll be speaking with the company again and don’t want to dread communicating with them because they are difficult.
Mark did a great job explaining work to be preformed.

We had an exceptional experience with Gabriel. He listened attentively, and showed genuine care for every detail we shared regarding our AC failure. He thoroughly inspected the unit and communicated his findings in a knowledgeable, professional manner, explaining the issue, and the recommended repair. He was able to resolve the problem and replace the necessary parts during the very first visit. We are very pleased with the service we received. We enrolled in the Hobson’s Comfort Experts membership and look forward to our annual inspections. Keep up the great work!

Cristian with Comfort Experts was prompt, professional, and friendly. He diagnosed my AC issue and had a solution within minutes. He explained what happened and what needed to be done in terms even I could understand. He also told me about Comfort Experts’ service plan, which I’m now kicking myself for not signing up for. I will though, because that kind of peace of mind matters going into these hot summer months. I can’t recommend Comfort Experts enough!
Matt was professional, informative, and worked hard to get this done… and done right! While membership is not financially feasible for us now (we already have a locked in 2 year service contract with the folks that installed our HVAC), it is in our future.
From the very first call to the technician’s visit, Comfort Experts was outstanding! Autumn made an incredible first impression—friendly, helpful, and truly set the tone for the entire experience. When Daniel Andrade came out, he exceeded our expectations. He was friendly, professional, and, most importantly, honest—qualities that are hard to find these days. My wife and I were so impressed that we signed up for the membership because we don’t want to work with anyone else moving forward. Comfort Experts has absolutely earned our trust, business, and loyalty. Thank you! — Daniel

Upon arrival, I found the system's coils completely frozen, extending from the indoor to the outdoor unit. I verified good airflow, checked the blower filter and ducts, and ensured the damper operations and contactor were functioning correctly. The system requires thawing before further diagnosis of the refrigerant issue. I recommended turning off the AC and using the fan mode. The homeowner plans to have the original company address the repair.
On August 17, 2026, our team responded to a stoppage related to a comfort care issue. Upon arrival, we conducted a thorough assessment of the situation, identifying the root cause of the problem. Our skilled technicians worked diligently to diagnose and address the issue, ensuring that the comfort care system was functioning optimally. We meticulously inspected and tested various components, making necessary adjustments and repairs. Throughout the process, we maintained clear communication with the client, providing updates and explanations to ensure they were informed and comfortable with the work being done. Our team's expertise and dedication resulted in a swift resolution, restoring comfort and peace of mind to the client.
Upon inspection, it was determined that the upflow system was leaking water, causing a significant accumulation on the floor. Further testing revealed that the issue stemmed from clogged plumbing lines connected to the HVAC system. To resolve this, we coordinated with a licensed plumber who was scheduled to arrive and clear the lines. The problem has been addressed, and the system is now functioning properly.
Upon arrival, I identified that the keeping unit was not operational due to an activated hockey Park. After thorough inspection, I discovered that the clear drain unit was malfunctioning, preventing the system from functioning correctly. I promptly addressed the issue by deactivating the hockey Park and ensuring the clear drain unit was working properly. Following the repair, I conducted a series of tests to confirm the system was fully operational. Payment was collected via credit card, and I provided a detailed explanation of the work performed and the resolution achieved.
Upon inspection, the outdoor unit's fan was operational, but the compressor failed to engage, even after attempting to use a hard start kit. The system, utilizing R22 refrigerant, is outdated. I thoroughly examined the components and confirmed the compressor's failure. I discussed potential replacement options with the customer, emphasizing the benefits of a modern system. However, the customer opted to explore alternative solutions at this time, choosing not to proceed with the replacement.
Upon arrival, I addressed a jammed garbage disposal by removing debris with an Allen key, restoring its function. I then inspected the upstairs toilet, which was slowly running and eventually stopped. I flushed all toilets multiple times and allowed water to stand to check for level changes. No continuous running or leaks were found, and the water meter was stable. I provided estimates for replacing the toilets and rebuilding them, but the customer opted not to upgrade at this time.
Today, I replaced the universal motor previously installed by Cody with an OEM motor. The new motor is significantly quieter, ensuring it won't disturb the neighbors. This upgrade enhances the appliance's performance and longevity. The client had already settled the difference from the previous visit, as per the verification on the last visit's check summary. The job was completed efficiently, maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Upon arrival, I identified a clogged drain that had activated the Emergency Management Technology (EMT) switch, rendering the unit inoperable. I carefully cleared the clog and treated the drain to restore functionality. However, despite these efforts, the unit remained non-functional. I contacted the homeowner to discuss the situation and obtain approval for further action. After speaking with them, they agreed to the proposed plan. I will now coordinate with dispatch to schedule a follow-up visit to clean and clear the drains. This will ensure the unit operates correctly and efficiently.
As part of the evaluation process, I conducted a thorough assessment of the refrigeration system. I added 1 pound of refrigerant to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Additionally, I inspected and replaced two box caps to maintain the integrity of the system. The customer's system was examined for any potential leaks, and fortunately, no current leaks were detected. The system is currently in good condition, and the customer can proceed with confidence, knowing that the system is functioning properly. This comprehensive evaluation ensures that the system will continue to operate effectively.
I was called to address an issue with a system that was not cooling. Upon arrival, the homeowner informed me that the outdoor fan was not running, prompting them to turn off the system. I started by turning the thermostat on, but the condenser fan motor did not activate. After inspecting, I identified a faulty capacitor. I replaced the capacitor, cleaned the condenser thoroughly, and repaired the electrical fittings. Following these repairs, I tested the system to ensure proper operation. The system is now cooling effectively. Thank you.
During the service, I assessed the water pressure, which was measured at 100 psi using a pressure gauge. I informed the customer that this high pressure could potentially lead to future leaks, although Comfort Experts would not be held responsible for any such issues. The customer declined the proposed work and opted not to join the Comfort Care Club. Additionally, I checked the water heater, which appeared to be in good condition, and decided against flushing it as this service is not included in their plan. Regarding the upstairs shower, the drain was found to be slow, but the homeowner expressed a desire to address this issue independently. If further assistance is needed, a service fee will apply. I also noted that the shut-off valves under the sinks and next to the toilets did not turn easily, and I refrained from forcing them to avoid causing any leaks.
Upon arrival, the homeowner reported that the upstairs area was not cooling properly the previous evening. The thermostat was set to 68°, but the system was not turning on. I adjusted the temperature to initiate cooling, and the system responded well. The Delta T is 17.5°, indicating efficient operation. The refrigerant levels, electrical components, coils, and filters are all in good condition, and the drains are clear. The outdoor condenser fan motor has lost its UV protection, and the amp draw is slightly below the rated value, suggesting a possible thermal overload. The system is now cooling effectively, and I will return if the issue recurs. Thank you.
I arrived for a scheduled tune-up that evolved into a comprehensive evaluation. The customer reported the downstairs unit was struggling to maintain the desired temperature. Upon inspection, I noticed erratic superheat readings (2 to 15) and subcooling at 4. After discussing the findings, I explained that the system was low on refrigerant and the superheat was abnormal. I provided potential solutions but the customer opted to contact the original installer due to the unit's age. Thank you for choosing our services.
I arrived for a comprehensive cooling tune-up on the heat pump system. I meticulously inspected all mechanical and electrical components to ensure maximum efficiency. The refrigerant levels were found to be optimal, and I cleaned the outside condenser to remove any accumulated debris. The filter was also in good condition, contributing to the system's performance. Based on my findings, I recommended several improvements to the customer. She opted to sign up for our membership program and replace the capacitor. Additional estimates for other potential upgrades will be provided separately. Thank you for choosing our services; we appreciate your trust in us. Have a great day!
We successfully installed a soft start system to enhance the efficiency and longevity of the customer's equipment. This involved carefully assessing the existing setup, selecting the appropriate soft start components, and meticulously integrating them into the system. Our team ensured that all connections were secure and that the system was configured correctly to prevent any potential issues. After installation, we conducted thorough testing to confirm that the system was functioning optimally. The customer's satisfaction was our priority, and we are grateful for the opportunity to provide a reliable and efficient solution. Thank you for choosing our services.
I completed a service where I replaced a universal motor with an OEM condenser fan motor. The client paid $1006 for the universal motor. The OEM motor costs $1552, so the difference of $546 is due. Additionally, I will charge for two service fees totaling $178. The client will pay $368 today. I'm ordering the OEM motor and will return to install it and recover the previous motor. The call is paused until the parts arrive.
Upon arrival, I identified a power outage that had affected the system. I successfully reset the zone board, which displayed red and green lights during the zone switching process. This indicated that the board was functioning correctly. After ensuring that the system was operating properly, I confirmed that the unit was back to normal. The homeowner will be contacted to arrange payment for the services rendered. Throughout the process, I maintained clear communication and ensured that the system was restored efficiently.
I successfully installed a new zone board for the homeowner's HVAC system. This involved carefully assessing the existing setup, disconnecting the old board, and ensuring the new board was securely and correctly installed. I tested the system to confirm that all zones functioned properly. The homeowner will need to call to finalize the payment. This task required precision and attention to detail to ensure optimal system performance.
Upon inspection, the condenser motor was found to be faulty, and the dual run capacitor was also defective. I replaced both parts to restore proper function. After the repair, the unit operated smoothly, and the refrigerant levels were verified to be within the correct range. Payment was processed via credit card.
Upon arrival, I assessed the upstairs cooling system, which was operational but not performing effectively. The system was running, but it was evident that it was significantly low on refrigerant R22. I conducted a thorough inspection and confirmed the refrigerant levels. I then discussed the situation with the homeowner, explaining the need for a possible system replacement. To ensure the homeowner could make an informed decision, I arranged for a comfort advisor to contact them later in the day. For now, I left the system running as it was, ensuring it remained operational until further action is taken.
During the inspection, I identified a faulty zone control board affecting zone 2. While zone 1 was operational, zone 2, responsible for the upstairs area, was not functioning. To ensure the upstairs area remained ventilated, I disconnected the 24-volt wires from the zone 2 board. This temporary measure allows the renters to have air upstairs. I will inform the homeowner, who manages this rental property.
During the inspection, I meticulously examined the HVAC system, confirming that the coils were clean and the air filter was in good condition. I identified a slow drain issue and suggested clearing the drain lines. To maintain cleanliness, I recommended installing a germicidal unit inside the indoor system. Additionally, I advised adding a soft start kit to the outdoor unit for more efficient startups and to reduce compressor wear. All electrical components were tested and found to be functioning correctly. The system is currently running and cooling effectively. The homeowner needs to discuss the proposed options with their spouse before proceeding.
I visited to provide a detailed quote for necessary repairs identified by an inspector. I explained that certain issues, while flagged, were not mandatory due to the house's age and existing codes. However, I assured the customer that if these updates were desired, I fully understood and could complete them. I presented a comprehensive quote covering all potential repairs, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction.
I visited the customer's home to assess their needs. They required insulation for their suction pipe and p-trap to improve efficiency and prevent freezing. Additionally, there was a noticeable dent on the condenser, which could affect its performance. I provided a detailed estimate for these services, including the materials and labor required. The customer appreciated the thoroughness of the assessment and requested some time to discuss the estimate with her husband before making a decision. I ensured she had all the necessary information to make an informed choice.
