I contacted Comfort Experts for their $49 A/C tune up special. Justin P arrived on time and explained in detail the scope of the inspection and services provided. Justin was very attentive as he not only listened to my questions but then answered all of them with great detail. Justin performed the inspection and cleaning of our A/C system and provided a very detailed assessment of his findings complete with detailed photos. I couldn’t have been happier with his work ethic and professionalism. If I were a business owner, he would be exactly the type of employee I would hope to hire! Evaporator coil is heavily blocked and leaking detectable refrigerant. Coil has a history of freezing. Blower wheel has extreme buildup and heavy biological growth. Filter system is poor. Condenser unit is not level. Refrigerant levels are low. Inrush amperage on compressor exceeds manufacturers tolerance. Contactor is buzzing. Homeowner wants condenser unit moved around the corner. As I uncovered all the issues, decided to talk to a CA 4/5/25 @10am. Homeowner needed information to give to his insurance company of the year of both systems so I made an estimate with that information and emailed it. I also encouraged him to not deliver the information to insurance company if he infact replaces the system. System is functional but heavily diminishing in performance.

Tech talked to home owner 5amp fuse kept blowing as soon as it was installed tech tried and the transformer popped. Tech installed a new transformer and unit was working perfectly fine tech made sure everything was running properly
