Recently had our 2 A/C systems "serviced" for a nominal fee. The "service" was just electrical and temperature tests and arranging a sales appointment. Our clogged condensate drain was ignored. We were told we had a leak in the newest system and they scheduled someone to give us estimates. We paid Arthur Hagar A/C for a second opinion. They flushed the clogged condensate drain, installed a cleanout and showed us that the refrigerant was NOT leaking. They also showed us that the gauge readings matched the specs on the units.

They were SO QUICK to respond to our inquiry for service and Derek was wonderful. He was so polite, respectful and helpful! Not only did he fix the issue, SHOW ME how to prevent and fix it myself if it happens again but gavce me several helpful tips and options should we need further help! Had issue with a contractor boring a fiber optic line in my area ..come to find out the contractor bored through my sewer line going to street Mark and another coworker after working all day stayed until their job was fulfilled and worked well past midnight to do so..they went above and beyond their duties to do so!!! Previous 04 codes (locked rotor) that were reset by the customer when turning breakers off and on. Found compressor saver failed. Replaced with new one and left with system in cool
Super tune up performed today on a Goodman heat pump with air handler installed in 2022. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Blower wheel and evaporator coil are clean. Air filter was changed on this visit. Refrigerant levels are in range. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. There is no drain safety switch installed. Outdoor unit was good washed and waxed. Customer declined all repairs.
Install 30k downflow heat pump with standard filtration, code kit, tstat wire to outdoor and remove and cap off fresh air intake from inside unit closet

Super tune up performed today on a Trane gas furnace with straight cool condenser installed in 2017. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Furnace inducer motor is grinding due to loose bearings. Inducer needs replacement. Refrigerant levels are in range. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Outdoor unit was washed and waxed. Air leaks are present at the evaporator coil unit needs to be resealed. Compressor saver is recommended to help with the reliability and efficiency of the unit upon start up.
Customer states that the system was not blowing cold. System was off upon arrival. Turned system to cooling and it started up. Refrigerant levels are in range. Delta T is 18 degrees. Supply air temp is 58 degrees. Evaporator coil and blower wheel are dirty and should be cleaned. System stayed on and was cooling for the entire time the technician was in the home. Unable to find a reason for failure. May be an intermittent issue.

Super tune up perfomed today on an Amana gas furnace with straight cool condenser installed in 2011. 20mfd blower capacitor is reading 15mfds. This is out of spec an needs to be replaced. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. System does not have enough return air. System has (2) 8×25 ceiling grills, each with a 12" duct. This is supplying less than half of the return air needed for a 3 ton system. Attic insulation is very low. Highly suggest adding more insulation to improve the efficiency of the home. There is no drain protection installed. No emergency drain pan underneath the coil and no drain safety switch. If there is a blockage in the drain the only place for the condensate to go is through the ceiling. In order to install an emergency drain pan the unit will need to be lifted and suspended from the rafters, install the drain pan, adjust the flue, and adjust the supply plenum so the drain pan can fit under. 9/17/25 We will drain and remove old equipment and install a new 40 gallon propane water heater with lifetime warranty. This includes combustion air, aluminum pan with drain, and flood stop safety valve. Lifetime warranty is good as membership is active We will perform a gas test on entire system to determine if there are leaks. If leaks are detected, we will give options to locate,repair, or replace. We will return on Monday 9/22 to complete work will need helper. All day job We will install a new tankless water heater. We will remove existing equipment and haul away. This will include new electric circuit, rerouting water lines and moving propane line out of closet. New tankless will be an exterior unit mounted o n end of home. 9/22/25 After install, we converted to LP gas and performed start up on unit. Working as it should at this time. Performed Tune up. Customer had a dual run cap that he replaced himself. Systems are 11 years old. Had recommendations for both systems but customer did not want to go through with anything due to the age of them

I have finished my electrical tune-up gfci's are present and working their electrical panel is definitely on the older side but it's working perfectly fine no surge protection and it's a 100 amp system so although an upgrade is definitely recommended they haven't been in the house for long so they need to think about it
Came to house for plumbing issue but ended up talking to customer about a few issues he had and ended up fixing one of the issues and customer said they would call us back out to do the other one cuz they had to go somewhere but also scheduled for the plumbers to come back out on Monday
Arrived to no cool. 04 "locked rotor" code present on the outdoor heat pump. Compressor saver failed. Replaced compressor saver under warranty. Performed function check. System running and cooling upon departure.
