HVAC, Plumbing & Electrician Service FAQs

How much does it cost to replace an HVAC system in Weatherford?

The cost to replace an HVAC system varies based on factors like the size of the home, the type of system, and local labor rates. On average, a complete HVAC system replacement may range from $5,000 to $10,000 or more. High-efficiency systems and additional features can increase costs. It's advisable to obtain multiple quotes from reputable HVAC contractors, considering factors like energy efficiency and warranty, to make an informed decision based on your specific needs and budget.

Why won't my furnace or AC turn on in Weatherford?

Your furnace or air conditioner may not come on due to a broken thermostat, a tripped circuit breaker, a clogged air filter, or problems with the ignition system. Other possible causes include issues with the pilot light, bad wiring, or a damaged capacitor. Start by looking at the air filter, the circuit breaker, and the thermostat settings. In order to ensure that your heating or cooling system operates effectively, it is advised that you speak with an HVAC specialist if the problem continues. They can identify and solve the exact issue.

What are the causes when a furnace doesn't provide enough heat near Weatherford?

Insufficient heat from a furnace may result from a clogged air filter restricting airflow, a malfunctioning thermostat, or issues with the ignition system. Additionally, problems with the pilot light, a faulty thermocouple, or a malfunctioning blower motor could be causes. Inadequate insulation, leaky ducts, or issues with the gas supply may also contribute. Regular maintenance, such as changing filters and inspecting components, can help prevent these issues. If problems persist, consulting with an HVAC professional is advisable for a thorough diagnosis and effective resolution.

Efficient plumbing systems are the cornerstone of a well-functioning home. Beyond the convenience of a smoothly running household, optimal plumbing efficiency also translates to significant savings on water bills and a reduced environmental footprint. We understand the importance of efficient plumbing and are committed to helping you achieve it.

Inefficient plumbing can have a significant impact on the environment. Water leaks and wastage contribute to unnecessary strain on local water resources and increase your carbon footprint.

Upgrading to enery-efficient toilets and faucets is a simple yet impactful way to conserve water. These fixtures are designed to use significantly less water without compromising on performance, helping you save both water and money in the long run.

Upgrade to eco-friendly fixtures, such as low-flow showerheads and aerators, to reduce water consumption without sacrificing performance. These small changes can make a big difference in both your water bill and environmental impact.

Prevent clogs in your drains by being mindful of what goes down the sink or toilet. Avoid flushing non-biodegradable items, such as wipes or paper towels, and use drain screens to catch hair and debris.

Schedule routine drain cleaning to remove buildup and prevent blockages. This can be done using environmentally friendly solutions or by hiring professional plumbers for thorough cleaning services.

Leak Detection Systems

Undetected leaks can lead to water wastage and potential damage to your property. Our advanced leak detection systems utilize cutting-edge technology to identify leaks early, allowing for prompt repairs and minimizing water loss.

Water Pressure Regulation

By upgrading your electrical system, you not only improve efficiency but also mitigate safety risks and bolster property value.

Electrical Panel Upgrades

Electrical panels, also known as circuit breaker boxes, distribute electricity throughout your home. Over time, these panels may become outdated or overloaded, leading to potential hazards. Regular Inspections

Schedule annual electrical inspections by licensed professionals to identify potential hazards, faulty wiring, and outdated components. Prompt repairs and upgrades ensure a safe and reliable electrical system.

Surge Protection Installation

Shield your home electronics from power surges with dedicated surge protection devices. These safeguards prevent damage from lightning strikes, utility grid fluctuations, and appliance malfunctions.

Whole Home Generator Installation

We understand the importance of reliable backup power, especially during unexpected outages. Whether it's due to severe weather, utility failures, or other emergencies, a properly installed generator ensures that your home remains powered, safeguarding your family and valuable electronic devices.

Standby generators are permanently installed outside your home and connected to your electrical system. They are equipped with an automatic transfer switch that detects power outages and immediately activates the generator.

Heating tune up performed on two system home. Both units are carrier heat pumps with air handlers installed in 2022. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Ecm blower motors are acceptable. Inside of air handlers are clean. Heat strips are in range. Both systems reversing valves and defrost control boards are working as they should. Attic insulation is low in many spots. Refrigerant levels appear to be low on both systems however both systems are at the same level meaning that may how they were installed. Highly suggest adding attic insulation, a compressor saver on each outdoor unit and a UV system to improve air quality in the home.

Due to the bulb being a year outside it's effective use, biological growth is present inside indoor unit. Compressor inrush amps exceeded manufacturers LRA even with a start capacitor in circuit. Refrigerant levels are outside of tolerance with my manufacturers data calling for 7-9° however the system is struggling to get to 2°.
