I requested information from Hobsons Comfort Experts on purchasing a generator for my home. Jeremy S was able to answer all my questions from size of unit, approximate price and location, and how it would work with the local utility co. Coming out a day earlier than originally expected, he was very knowledgeable and able to identify possible location, answered questions about noise, approx purchase price, and how it works with the electric co. Jeremy was respectful and didn’t mind all my questions. Thank you so much for quickly responding and giving me an idea for what to expect on an estimate!

Had issue with a contractor boring a fiber optic line in my area ..come to find out the contractor bored through my sewer line going to street Mark and another coworker after working all day stayed until their job was fulfilled and worked well past midnight to do so..they went above and beyond their duties to do so!!! Performed two system tune-up checked all electrical connections in both air handlers changed customer provided filters customer also provided drain treatments for both systems checked all electrical connections for heat pumps all electrical components were within range refrigerant levels were within range wash condensers out with water recommended whole home surge protection customer stated he had talked to the electrician about surge protection estimate will send an email customer would also like to have the office call for whole home search protection
Upon arrival customer stated system would not cool during evaluation found the heat pump to be locked out on high pressure cut off reset system and found that the condenser fan motor would not run check high voltage to the condenser fan motor in low voltage fan motor was receiving proper voltage plugged low voltage plug into board condenser fan motor came on potential for loose connection of low voltage causing fan motor to not run per Brian if customer calls back with same issue order outdoor control board
Install 18k mini split for back room
Adjusted refrigerant charge. Verified blower speed. Removing service fee, charging the unit was not an option the day of installation.
Customer lost power in the home and the thermostat date and time needed to be reset. Customer put batteries in the thermostat and reset the time and date. System operating normally at time of departure.

Maintenance performed today on a 26kw generac air cooled generator. Oil, oil filter, air filter and spark plugs were changed. Valve spacing checked and found to be within spec. Battery checks as good. Perfomed function check and reset maintenance schedule. System running normally at time of departure.

Fun arrival customer stated he feels at the house is very humid also stated it may be just his body but would like to know pricing on dehumidifiers ran a quick system check just to make sure that the system is working properly and make sure the airflow was correct it's your refrigerant levels were within range found no issues with the system customer decided to set up appointment for tomorrow for the comfort advisor 10 to 12:00 confirmed by the office
Upon arrival customer stated that the back room would not receive any air flow during evaluation found that the duct for that room was completely off reattached and sealed duct and also replaced door on capacitor that was weak customer has an extra room that was added on after building the house that does not have any air conditioning customer wants to have comfort visor come out to talk about a mini split Comfort advisor setup for tomorrow 12:00 to 3:00 confirmed by the office
Perform tune up on 2021 train air handler and heat pump found biological growth in air handler filter was extremely compacted replaced filter found bull run capacitor below tolerance while running recommended replacement and compressor is over Max lra talked with customer about home and budget protection club UV system micro air soft start and replacement of the capacitor Customer wanted to talk with wife about potential repair wife was not home at this time
Performed Tune up on Amana system Drains need clearing Filter needs changing UV lamp needs replacement Home would benefit from added insulation as current insulation levels in attic are low Replaced weak dual run capacitor under warranty Washed condenser coils Left with system in cool Recommended UV lamp replacement or upgrading to more efficient UV system, adding compressor saver or upgraded Micro Air Soft start kit to reduce inrush amp draw on compressor
Perform tune up on 14 year old Goodman air handler and straight pool condenser during tune-up set the system to cool system ran for approximately 2 minutes before shutting down found that was losing 24 volt to y for cooling. Check thermostat make sure the thermostat was still calling thermostat was turn thermostat off and then turn it back to cool system ran for another 15 minutes before doing the same thing also found that the condenser fan motor bearings are starting to rub refrigerant levels are showing below range found no signs of leaks at this time condenser coil does have dust and dirt buildup recommended replacing condenser fan motor and thermostat or potentially having a comfort advisor come out to talk about replacement due to the age of the system and multiple issues. CUSTOMER NEEDS ESTIMATES OF REPAIRS MAILED(PHYSICAL COPIES) SO HE CAN TALK WITH BROTHER AND THEN SCHEDULE A COMFORT ADVISOR TO COMPARE REPAIRS VS REPLACEMENT
Bon arrival customer say that the system was doing nothing at all during evaluation found the furnace and air handler to not be running check high and low voltage check calls from thermostat check time low voltage at the condenser found no issues look through previous codes found no previous codes connected cool cloud to the furnace Furnace needed update updated system recommended running new thermostat wire from the furnace to the condenser to wire legacy to negate any issues between communicating system left with system in cool

Generac maintenance scheduled for Tuesday the 24th for a two year old generac 24kw air cooled generator. Performed a super tune up today on a 3 zone carrier air handler and heat pump. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. No drain protection has been installed. All amp draws are within spec. Refrigerant levels are acceptable. Outdoor unit was washed and waxed. System running normally at time of departure.
3/19/26 Pull toilet we'll have to return tomorrow to run camera down the vent to find septic tank
Upon arrival discussed with the customer the issues he was having today upon inspection of the unit I verified voltage and electrical connections system charge is accurate and filter is clean System has a 20 degree delta in cooling and is operating as it should
Arrived to no heat. Found that the primary electrical control to the heat strips had shorted and caused the 3 amp low voltage fuse to pop. Replaced primary electrical control and 3 amp fuse. Performed function check. System running normally upon departure.
