Cooling time performed today on a Trane heat pump with air handler installed in 2015. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Refrigerant levels are in range. PSC blower motor and capacitor are acceptable. Blower wheel and evaporator coil are clean. No drain protection has been installed. No surge protection has been installed. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Outdoor unit was washed and waxed.

Need to return tomorrow to make repair. The restoration company is removing water from home tonight so I can make repair tomorrow.

Upon arrival Customer stated ductwork underneath the house was loose and had fallen off. During inspection found that the ductwork had fallen and was crushed. 1 roll 14 inch duct needs to be ordered

Found unit to be locked out on high pressure I inspected condenser coil and indoor filter “both are not very dirty” before resetting the error code and running the unit in heating upon starting unit the home was at 64 degrees I adjusted the refrigerant charge over the course of 50 minutes before the home reached the target temperature of 72 degrees Left thermostat set to 72

S t u completed while performing STU on system I found water near TMP drain for water heater asked customer if I could perform a quick inspection on the water heater and I had found some corrosion on the exterior of the tank after further questioning customer explain to me that they go through water heaters every 4 to 5 years which is too often. Customer is not ready or prepared to replace this water heater so we decided to try to extend the lifespan as much as possible therefore we are going to install a electric anode rod, flush tanked water heater in the process, and bring electrical up to code. Need to return on the 27th to complete recwork, I will gather materials.
