Ryan Schmuhl arrived shortly after receiving the text message update. Part was installed fairly quickly. The thermostat was programed and given a walk through on how to operate. Ian was a true blessing today! Im a New homeowner and only been in my home since April. So it was a huge surprise that i was having issues with my toilet backing up into my tub! Recently I had a great referral from Angies list and decided to do the same to find a plumber. Comfort experts were the first to call and Rebecca was extremely helpful in setting appointment. Within the hour I had a knock on my door and was greeted by Ian and his personable smile! Although I was hesitant to proceed after the quote Ian assured me that he was knowledgeable and his integrity spoke volumes! He treated me like a human being first and customer second which confirmed I made the right choice in moving forward with him completing the repair. For this job, I worked on a evaluation on a gas furnace system not heating. I went through the system and it turned out to be that the gas was off. I asked the customer for safety measures if he had the gas company out here or did someone turn it off and customer mentioned that he had no one.
System was left running and in great condition.
Adding on, I scheduled an electrician to come service the garage door and also the tankless water heater switch for this customer.

For this job, I worked on a super tune-up on this 16 year old heat pump system. I went through all the mechanical and electrical parts of the system and checked for maximum efficiency. Filter was changed, UV bulb was replaced and outside condenser was washed. During my inspection I noticed the compressor over amping, I notify the customer that she has not added nothing to her system, and that it would really be helpful if she helps her compressor out, however customer rejected.

I went to the breaker and it was tripped, and wouldn't go on or off. I offered the customer's replacement and they accepted. Today I completed a full tune-up. When I tested heat, the burners lit, shut off after a few seconds, then tried again—pointing to a sticking/failing pressure switch. I replaced the pressure switch today, checked the tubing/vent, reset the system, and verified proper operation (multiple heat cycles OK). Outside, the compressor shows a high start-up (inrush) current and the run capacitor is low but still within tolerance. I recommended adding a soft-start kit to reduce that start spike and protect the compressor/control board, and to monitor or proactively replace the capacitor before it drifts out of spec. Homeowner approved and pressure switch was replaced today; system left operating normally.
