for our new house purchased 1999 had a substandard compressor, failing in its 8th year of life. We added a solar heat release vent, installed by your company that improved cooling efficiency greatly. On arrival system was running and heating with no issues. In cooling system produced a 27 degree delta with a 10 superheat and a 30+ degree subcool. Evap coil and blower dirty and restricting airflow. Supply plenums has significant biological growth. Customer understands recomended system replacement but is unable to do so at this time.

On this job I went through the system to see what was causing the no cool. Home owner had had a clogged up filter from the debris of the ceiling collapse. Caps drain lines and safety switch all checked out. System is back online and ready for cooling.

On arrival system ran and cooled as intended. Indoor unit was clean and in good condition. Uv system is in need of bulb replacement or an upgrade to an iaq200. Outdoor unit ran as intended but overamped on start up and the capicator was well out of tolerance. I recommended replacing the capicator and adding a start kit to lower the amp draw on the compressor on start. When I left system was running and cooling.

On this job I found a bunch of tree limbs on the units. Thankfully it didn't damage the unit to much. The Cooper line was pushed in. It was blocking the system from rejecting heat. Other then this the system test in tolerance for cooling side components. I recommend a bulb for the uv and a easy start for out side.

On arrival system running and heating. Tested furnace functionality and performed CO2 testing. Found heat spots on heat exchanger and verified previously diagnosed pin holes. Did not find any ppm of CO2 while testing. Advised that heat exchangers are critically important for a furnaces safe operation. Customer wants to address this in a month since he is currently having a new roof installed.

09/24/24 TS- toilet tank fill valve was not functioning properly and needed to be replaced. Informed the homeowner that cleaning pods gunk up the works and I suggest they not put anything in the tank section moving forward.

Today I washed the condensor and changed the filter on this system. I inspected the heating and cooling side and added a icm easy start 16a. The system has a subcool of 8° and a td of 20. The system is over ten years old but still functions well. The easy start should give the compressor and longevity.
