AC Repair & Installation In Cresson, TX

4 systems total. 3 systems in main home. Customer states that there is an abnormal amount of dust accumulating in the home. Upon further inspection, the technician has discovered mild dust build up starting to form on all 3 blower wheels and evaporator coils. There seems to be some air bypassing the box filters due to the construction of the filters and boxes. No apparent leaks in the duct work. Suggest a duct cleaning and a filter upgrade to prevent further buildup. Attic insulation level is currently at an R38. Main system does not have any drain protection. Filter boxes are as follows Upstairs system : 28x17 Main system : 28x21 East side system : 28x20

Downflow propane furnace installed in 2021. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. All safeties are working properly. System is operating efficiently at this time.

Performed plumbing tune up. Could not access water heater at this time. Appliance is located in a closet in the sewing room which is full of equipment gave options for misc repairs. Customers would like to talk it over before making decisions

5t goodman gas package 2014. No manufacturers warranty. System down upon arrival. Homeowner had Daffen out to diagnose. Confirmed low pressure switch trip which was Daffens diagnosis. Circuit board code confirmed this as well. Refrigerant control valve (TXV) compromised. I performed a courtesy leak detection and detected refrigerant molecules on the intake bottom side of aluminum evaporator coil. Compressor inrush Amp current exceeded manufacturers data specifications. I educated Homeowner on his systems performance. We discussed the option of the TXV replacement but upon finding refrigerant molecules present at the evaporator, we focused on the bigger picture. I helped him understand what all goes into the major surgery of the system and that it may not be wise to spend that much on a repair with no manufacturers warranty. Came out for an evaluation found breakers trip due to a break in the condensate line allowing moisture to cover all of the electrical components one breaker would not turn back on had to replace it under warranty and fixed the drain line got rid of the old accordion style hose and replaced it with 3/4-in PVC Left it easily removable for future service Pausing this job for the office to collect payment for the service fee

7/5/24 Upon arrival Customer stated 4 mini splits aren't working correctly, one in upstairs is blowing but not cooling as should. In mothers section of home one is leaking on the wall and upstairs has one that isn't even coming on at all. Master bedroom doesn't seem to keep up as should. Upon arrival system was off with fan on During inspection turn system on and verify that outdoor unit fan motor was not turning on but compressor is running and this was caused due to the capacitor being below tolerance and not allowing the fan to stay on and compressor is running only due to the fact of the compressor saver Spoke to customer and got a new capacitor installed and talked about a maintenance agreement he said he would need to think it over before committing to a maintenance agreement Left customer sound for system operating properly and cooling

Took capacitor payment out of today's payment since the fan motor comes with a new capacitor System is on and operating efficiently Fan motor amp draws look good

On this job the thermostat was the issue. I installed a new one got the system back online. Ssytem heats and cools in both functions. The tD is 18. Filters are clean.

Tech Cody arrived to customer's home. Inside the coil and blower were both clean, the homeowner did not have new filters for me to install. The heat strips functioned properly and I poured a gallon of water into the drain. Outside the compressor and fan motor were running properly, when I hooked up my guages I found the refrigerant charge to be correct. I washed the coil and finished with a waxing of the unit. Main unit 4 ton 2005 electric. Secondary unit 3 ton 2005 electric. Systems are functional at this time. Due to age and refrigerant availability it is highly recommended to replace. Home was empty upon arrival, grounds keeper wanted a report. Home is listed for sale and selling "as is".

Customer had thermostat on fan on which is reason unit did not turn off. Outdoor did not turn on. Checked wiring and seen everything was fine and turned on system. Outdoor turned on. Seen refrigerant was a little low so went ahead and added some and let customer know unit is cooling again.

During inspection verified that system was working properly Spoke to customer about recommendations for the system that would help the reliability of the system and customer stated that husband just changed jobs and that now is not a good time for them to move forward with anything Left customers house with system operating properly
