Garrett Y. was our service technician and came with all the equipment needed to perform our annual Spring tune-up. He was extremely knowledgeable and very professional during his time at our home. He has been trained well, with a thorough understanding of all the workings of our HVAC unit, both inside and outside. We were able to get someone out right away after we called them to check our current A/C. Justin P came out and handled all of our concerns AND the repairs we chose in the same day. It didn't feel like someone was just trying to find line items to make money off of. He was informative and not pushy at all, while also being very patient with my kiddos (they always want to know what tools are being used lol). Not sure if everybody at this place is like Justin but we had a great experience!
My husband is most impressed by how clean the A/C unit was after he cleaned it for us. 10/10
Because our water in this area is not the best we have had to use salt to soften it, and then we had to add a reverse osmosis faucet in the kitchen so that we could actually cook without all the salt and so forth. When Daniel came out from Comfort Experts to do a routine inspection for us, he told us about Halo ultimate that would not have to use salt and would do such a good job that we wouldn’t have to use the reverse osmosis and that we wouldn’t have to do anything to it for 10 full years. We told him that we would be gone that morning for several hours, but would leave the garage door up so that he could work. By the time we got back, he was already through. He had cleaned up. He had flushed out the hot water heater and was telling us exactly what we needed to do for the next couple of days until he could come back out and turn the system on. We not only love the Halo system, but can’t say enough for Daniel. He has a really fun personality and made us feel both comfortable and confident. Thank you Comfort Systems and Daniel!!

For the school and tune up I inspected the customer's furnace and condenser, all equipment was measuring at the manufacturer specs and running well. Customers refrigerant levels looks good and they are ready for the hotter months ahead.

I took the filter out because it was not the right size customer is ordering the right filter. inducer motor amperage within range and all safety are working. showed the customer how to change out the uv bulb. Capacitor outside was within tolerance. The condenser was cleaned. All amperage is on the condenser was within range,and the refrigerant had a subcool of 6. I brought up the code violation of the combustion air intake being blocked by spray recommend to get that fixed as soon as possible

On this job I inspected the gas furnace and found everything in tolerance. I did find a bad uv bulb. Today they have decided to upgrade to the iaq200. Heat differential is 30 system has a new filter and is ready for heating season.

For this evaluation I showed up to the customer's house and the downstairs unit was not running. Inside there was a call for cool, but only hot air was being blown. There was no sound coming from the condenser to indicate the capacitor was out, which I did test and it was still within tolerance. However there was not high voltage at the contactor and the breaker was tripped at the disconnect. I unplugged the compressor and turned the system back on and the fan ran and did not trip the breaker, indicating the compressor is grounded. Customer stated after the storms in May, that's when she started to notice that her AC was not running as efficiently. My phone the customer that this is because the compressor is basically fried and that is the heart of the system and there's no refrigerant being pumped to cool the house.

For the schooling tonight I expected the furnace and condenser, all equipment was measuring with a manufacturer's specs and running well. Due to the condenser being 5 years old I recommended a compressor saver to lower the amp draw at in Rush and the customer decided to go with that as well as a pan strip as her drain line was starting to be slow with training. At your installing the compressor saver the inrush went down by approximately 30%.

Tech arrived at a membership tune-up. Upon inspection, the capacitor was within specs. The contactor was in working condition. The condenser coils were hosed off to assist with air flow across the coils. The surge protector was functioning. The filter was dirty and replaced. The drain was clear and bleach was poured. The UV system was functioning. The Delta and refrigerant was within range. The customer was informed of recommendations today. We will wait until the next trip to upgrade the UV system when the current bulb is expired. The system was functioning upon departure.

The drain was clear and bleach was poured. The heating system reached complete ignition. The UV system was not functioning. The customer was informed of recommendations today. She decided to move forward with replacing the capacitor and adjusting the refrigerant. These tasks were performed and tested. The system was functioning upon departure. She will consider other recommendations and call back in at a later date.
