AC Repair & Installation In Springtown, TX

6/20/25 Upon arrival customer stated she's been having issues with system not being able to cool the house properly ever since one hour heat and air installed the system. Evaporator coil and condenser coils are heavily compacted with dust and dirt causing refrigerant issues. Also found in the top of the Airhandler there was a hole cut out that's been allowing unfiltered air by since install. Connection duct underneath house has fallen down and is blowing air under the house. Recommended adding in aprilaire filter box, cleaning both coils and Repairing the supply duct. Customer agreed to all repairs and will need this scheduled for 6/24/25 FIRST CALL WITH MARK W

Nest Tstat will not connect to wifi and goes blank with no real reason why. Replaced with 3 heat 2 cool Honeywell under warranty as customer didn't want wifi capability anyway left with system cooling

Customer states that water is coming from the secondary drain line. Technician found the emergency drain pan full of water due to a blockage in the primary drain line cleared drain line and added a drain pan treatment to help keep the line clear. System running and cooling the home upon departure.

Questions addressed, apologies given for the lack of communication. Item in question was a spare part and was a piston device. Homeowner had a question about a noise that happens in heat mode but we could not replicate. Blower motor bearings are starting to wear down hence the start up noise. Homeowner satisfied. System left In cooling 78°

Apon arrival talked with home owner. Performed a safety check on system. Checked both indoor and outdoor systems changed a blower capacitor. Checked drain line also. Txv is searching so subcooling is jumping around. Recommendations are a soft start kit so ac can be used while under generator power and to prolong the life of the compressor. Also recommended a whole home surge protector

Ran home run for dedicated 20 a outlet in master bedroom. Job complete.

Customer having issues with circuit breaker tripping. They have 2 9.8 A portable units on a 15a breaker. Discussed the load issues. Offered estimate to Install dedicated circuit to fix issue. Larger issue however is that their AC unit isn't cooling the home. Unit was installed 3-5 years ago. And have had issues ever. 1 hour did the work. Has had the, out over 10 times and the lowest she can get the house is 78 degrees. SCHEDULE ELECTRICAL WORK FOR THURSDAY MORNING 6/3 FIRST APOINTMENT. HALF DAY. When technician arrived the home was warm and the air conditioner was not working. So the Technician went into the attic and found the main 60 amp breaker was in the off position, so the technician checked for loose wires also checked for motor to be shorted out. Please note the breaker was off not tripped, I turned the breaker on checked volts, amps, temperature splits, refrigerant pressures including superheat and subcool, checked contactor, and the capacitor, checked the blower wheel, drains, filter, and duct pressures. I rechecked the blower motor after running for a while its drawimg 2.2 amps and the 15 mfd capacitor tested at 15.1 system is working ok at this time. Homeowner is using there free tune up for this visit.

Homeowner wanted to see when part would be in tech told them that it could be two weeks to a month to be on the safe side. Homeowner are leaving for a vacation next week they are going to see if anyone has the ecm motor

Upon technicians Arrival technician found that thermostat was not connecting to own homeowners phone

Upon arrival tech found that the blower wasn't kicking on tech checked and made sure that the blower was getting 240v as well as a 24v tech turned on and off the breaker tech found that the blower is having a intermittent issue and coming on and off Blower is working for now but will go back out if not taken care of

Came out and insulated drain lines

Made up extension cord for generator plug.

High humidity levels inside house, Adjusted blower slightly refrigerant levels were slightly low got the subcool to 8, cleared drain and replaced UV lamp as well

Came to job to look at tying in solar and has a lot of work and things to look at doing with solar and customer thought Nathaniel was coming out and I didn’t know too much about this solar stuff so if Nathaniel could come out today, that would be great it’s in springtown close to his house

Completed super tune up on Lennox system. Apon inspection of air handler found biological growth starting to build up. Blower wheel had minor dust build up. Blower motor and capacitor are within manufacturer specs. Drain is clear. Washed outdoor coil and checked refrigerant levels along with compressor amps everything is within manufacturer spec. Mini split is working properly also washed the condenser of mini split. Mini split tune up sold by technician.

Super tune up performed today on a Goodman straight electric system installed in 2019. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Psc blower motor and capacitor are acceptable. Blower wheel and evaporator coil are clean. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. Outdoor unit was washed and waxed. System operating properly upon departure.

Me and Jake found that the dryer it's self is the cause of the trip and they are gonna get a new dryer
