Mike did an excellent job on both systems (heating and a/c), and thoroughly explained his findings. For the a/c system he found several things that required replacement and repair. For these he created a detailed analysis and cost estimates. We do need this priced out narrative to consider which one to attend to immediately.
Had the Generac Generator serviced for the first time today. Mark D. did a great job. Explained all the work to be performed and why it was necessary. Quickly handled the maintenance and left everything back in place. As always great service from Comfort Experts.
Friendly, knowledgeable and hard working
Great service with Jake today.
Jake came out on one of the coldest day last winter. He replaced a whole breaker box. Fast forward to today and we had a problem in the breaker box and he came out and fixed it in a matter of minutes. Very talented and very respectful. Thank you Jake.

Once again great service from Mark W (and Zack W). Had to replace a water heater. Same day service, easy installation with no hassles and a job well done. Work was excellent and they left the job site cleaner then they found it. I’ll never use anyone else for my plumbing needs.
Jonathon completed required service assessment in timely manner. Looks like complete report.
He diagnosed problems and replaced the necessary parts while providing explanations. Got the system running again!

Tyler, thanks great job/service as always.
Great service today from Tyler Scholes. He inspected my plumbing system and pointed out a couple of items that needed to be addressed. He made the repairs/updates quickly and explained and documented everything that was done. Left everything clean and tidy.
The technician was prompt and knowledgable. When done he fully debriefed us on what he had found, and what options we might take advantage of.
Coby arrived on time he presented himself in a very professional manner, he explained what he was going to do and why as he proceeded his work he wanted to be sure that I understood, he never did act as if this was something that he had to do, he actually seemed to enjoy his chosen profession, I am a Retired Customer Service Manager, but if I were looking to hire someone it would be him,
Blake and the team at Comfort Experts were fantastic. I appreciated the reccomendations they gave to ensure my ac and heating is working orooerly.
I have replaced the GFCI on the outside that goes to the water heater
For this job, I worked on a super tune-up on this heat pump system. I went through all the mechanical and electrical parts of the system and checked for maximum efficiency. In the indoor unit, system had a lot of biological growth however customer was aware and was not interested on any possible solution to remove that. In the outside unit, the fan was not running, I checked the capacitor and it was out of tolerance, capacitor was replaced and everything was functioning like normal. Thank you for choosing Comfort Experts, have a great day!

Super tune up Blower very dusty and inefficient Furnace rattles while heating. Could not pin down location but is either inducer or heat exchanger 25 degree cooling delta instead of 20 Filter line dryer has a 3.5 delta across it causing higher line temps and straining the compressor Evap coil extremely rusted and leaking refrigerant Setting up follow up for Toby no later than Monday. Homeowner will discuss everything with his wife and may reach out earlier

Today I'm happy to report that both system test in tolerance. The system td is 20°. THE SYSTEM subcool is 6 and superheat is 15°. They could both benefit from easy starts to help reduce inrush amps.
Came to customer's house for club visit and customer stated at the front door that everything inside his house is working and is fun and didn't need me to come inside so I went in the garage and did my inspection including the outside pool equipment and remaining outside equipment but everything looked good everything was up to code but talk to customer about adding search protection which is the only thing his panels are lacking
Came to job for switch crackling when turned on and opened it up and found a loose wire so talk to customer about it and we tightened it back up and everything's working perfect
On this visit I replaced a 40 cap and got rid of the hard start and added a new easy start
On this visit I looked at both heating and cooling of the system. I'm happy to report that they both test in tolerance. The td 20°. The filter is new and condensor is washed. Concerns High LRA 77 The system could benfit from easy start management system. This will reduce the in rush bye 75% give it added longevity and better job performance.
Came to job for GFCI tripping every now and then when storms happen and talk to customer about it and replaced plug giving issues
For this evaluation I inspected the customer's furnace and condenser. Overall everything looked good and all equipment was measuring within manufacturer specifications. I took a look at the customer's water heater as well as the electrical panel, when I took the plate off of the electrical panel the entire left side of the panel and breakers we're running extremely hot at approximately 130° f or 54° c. The rating for those breakers was 40°c indicating those breakers are running extremely hot however they are not tripping. This is a potential fire hazard as well as safety issue which I would highly recommend getting inspected which I offered a free referral for an electrician however the customers may want to go with an independent contractor. To get ahead of any potential issues I did recommend installing a whole home surge protector as well as a hard start kit for the compressor to prevent the compressor from overamping on startup and potential damage that could cause.
Level 3 48k gas horizontal $18,500
For this evaluation, the customers primary drain line had come loose at one of the joints. My best guess is that while I was working yesterday, I either stepped on the primary drain line or bumped it, causing that glue that was holding the PVC into the joint to come loose, and the water was dripping out of the primary drain line into the ceiling. I gave my sincere apologies to the customer and filled out a home damage report and let RYAN know what had happened.
For this cooling tune-up I inspected the customers air handler and condenser. For the most part all equipment was measuring within manufactured specs and running well. The compressor was over ramping on startup with a maximum lra of 152 amps however the compressor was pulling 160 amps on startup. I recommend it to the customer that we install a hard start kit to the compressor to keep the amp draw on startup below the manufacturer specifications. I also discussed installing a whole home surge protector inside the electrical panel. The customer wanted me to go ahead and install an April air filter upgrade kit which I did. A new filter will last her a year and will capture smaller particulates of dust and dirt circulating throughout the home. Thank you for choosing Comfort Experts!!
