Comfort Experts Inc. is your full home services partner in Cleburne. We look forward to working with you soon!
They were great. Helpful, patience and very friendly.
The service technician, Mike R, was very friendly and respectful. We have had several technicians from Comfort Experts over the past eight years, but Mike R is the best one we have ever had. He is a great guy.
Mike was very polite and respectful. He seemed to know what he was doing. The only problem I have and this is NOT Mike's fault is that the prices for these "Hard and Soft start up kits" are extremely expensive. I paid $379.20 for a "Hard Start Up Kit" in 2022. This kit online is only $49.11. Now, I am being charged $1241.60 for a "Soft Start Up Kit" and this kit online is only $259.50. I don't understand why there is so much difference in the price.

Today I showed up for an evaluation on the 15-year-old York heat pump system the unit was previously freezing up before the homeowner turned the thermostat to off and fan on however when I arrived it was 72° upstairs and the outdoors unit was continuously running this is due to a failed contactor welded set replaced the contactor and got everything operational as it should be however there was an arc flash whenever I opened up the indoor unit I was unable to find anything that was loose or burnt and I was not able to recreate the issue I also recommended replacing the defrost control board for the outdoor unit as a preventative measure but all we did today was replace the contactor

8/22/25 Evaluated dryer circuit. Initial readings at the receptacle were phase 1 to phase 2 = 244 volts. Phase 1 and phase 2 to ground 80 to 83 volts. Wire is spliced at non-accessible junction box beside sink that was added during a remodel. Recommend replacing with dedicated circuit from panel to dryer in flexible conduit through attic due to living in the country where mice are present. Total for circuit would be $1,724 – club savings $344.80 = $1,379.20. Circuit replacement needs to be scheduled for Tuesday August 26.
