Alex was friendly and professional. The crew was quiet and cleaned up very well after their work was done. All members of the crew were nice to my dogs. He explained all the work that was done, showed me pictures and explained why they moved from one size duct to another. When they left, he made sure I understood what work was done and insured that the house was clean. I would have that crew in my house again to make repairs.
Mark W & Hunter are courteous and professional. They repaired our AC and even took care of some maintenance to help prevent future issues. It's great to feel cool again! Many thanks to these fine gentlemen.
Nathan was amazing!! He came out to look at why my outlets weren’t working. He was very thorough and nice. He found out the outlet itself had gone bad and that was the problem. I declined to have him replace the outlet only because I know to replace it myself and the price was out of my range for something I can do on my own. Would definitely use them again in the future though.
Daniel was awesome and honest with me on my issues. I like how he very hands on in showing me the issues that's going on with my hvac system. I would definitely trust his guidance for my ac repairs.
From the moment I set up the appointment and when the work was completed, I knew I made the right decision not going through my home warranty and reaching out to comfort experts. Mike is very very knowledgeable and was able to fix my AC quickly! He answered all of my questions and provided valuable information to help maintain my AC unit. I didn’t feel pressured in adding any services. He did a great job & great customer service. Thanks!
Leo, the consummate professional, did an exceptional job in customer service, answering any questions I had and making sure the service was exemplary. I appreciated the care he took of the equipment and my home upon arrival and before leaving. I highly recommend Leo for any work on your AC system.
Thank you SO much to Mark W for stopping to help me and my daughter on the side of the road with a flat tire on our trailer I couldn’t get off! He got us back on the road in no time. I will def be using them for any of our repair needs!!!
After contacting several other plumbers who wouldn’t be able to get me taken care of until the weekend, I got a recommendation to try Comfort Experts. Within a couple hours they had Daniel H on the way. I received a message when he was on the way and when to expect him, with a picture to know who was coming. He arrived promptly and was friendly. Got to work on my water leak and had it taken care of quickly. He was very respectful and even talked with my son about what he was doing and explained things to him as he went. My kiddo was super excited to be included in seeing what happened and how it was fixed. Awesome service, great plumber. Will absolutely recommend and will use again if more issues arise in the future.
We had our A/C system serviced today by a technician, Daniel, from Comfort A/C Experts. The technician was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He notified us while on the way, arrived on time, clearly explained what needed to be done, and completed the job thoroughly. Our A/C is now running smoothly. He also gave us helpful tips on how to maintain the system for better performance and longevity. Kudos for a job well done. I recommend them to anyone needing A/C work done!
Colby came out and inspected my a/c unit. He was so polite, knowledgeable, and informative. He offered options for repairs and was not pushy.
Alex and another gentleman spent the day installing a furnace and outside unit and they were also respectful, polite, and hardworking.

Get the Best AC Repair Arlington, TX Has To Offer

From Comfort Experts HVAC Services – Home of the Perfect AC Technician

When the scorching heat of summer hits Arlington, TX a well-functioning air conditioner can be your best friend. But what happens when your air conditioner decides to go on vacation during the hottest days of the year? That’s where a residential air conditioning repair service company comes to the rescue!

The Importance of a Well-Functioning Air Conditioner

Your home should be a sanctuary where you can find comfort and relaxation. A properly working air conditioner ensures that your indoor environment remains cool and pleasant, even when the temperature soars outside. Aside from the obvious comfort factor, a well-functioning AC unit also helps improve indoor air quality, prevents heat-related illnesses, and protects your valuable furniture and electronics from heat damage. And when you need to replace your AC unit or old heating system, we’ll be there to walk you through the process with options that fit you budget.

Signs of a Failing Air Conditioning System

If you recognize these signs early, it can save you from a complete system breakdown.

  • Unusual Noises – If your air conditioner suddenly starts making strange noises, like rattling, grinding, or squealing, it’s a clear sign that something is amiss. Unusual sounds often indicate loose or worn-out components that need immediate attention.
  • Weak Airflow – Is your AC blowing weak or barely cool air? Poor airflow might be caused by clogged air filters, ductwork issues, or a failing compressor.
  • Frequent Cycling – Does your AC turn on and off frequently? This short cycling not only hinders your comfort but also increases energy consumption, leading to higher utility bills.
  • Escalating Energy Bills – Speaking of utility bills, a sudden surge in energy costs without any other explanation could be attributed to an inefficient air conditioning system.
  • Uneven Cooling- Are some rooms in your house significantly cooler than others? Inconsistent cooling indicates possible ductwork problems or imbalances in your AC system.

DIY Troubleshooting: When to Attempt and When to Avoid

Almost everyone is a self-proclaimed HVAC expert (we’re kidding) and wants to be able to do things before calling a heating and cooling company.

There are some DIY things you can check that include:

  • Cleaning or Replacing Air Filters
  • Checking Thermostat Settings
  • Clearing Condenser Unit Debris
  • Addressing Clogged Drainage

Know when to seek professional help because anything else should and can be handled by the heating and air conditioning professionals you choose. Some of the perks of choosing a professional cooling repair company include experience, expertise, timely solutions, enhanced longevity of your HVAC system, and overall safety and assurance.

HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical Service FAQs

What are some ways I can save money on my heating and cooling costs in my Arlington home?

Saving money on heating and cooling costs in Arlington, TX, often involves a combination of energy-efficient practices and strategic home maintenance that include:

  • Schedule annual HVAC maintenance for your heating and cooling systems.
  • Install a programmable thermostat to automate temperature adjustments based on your schedule.
  • Seal gaps and cracks in doors, windows, and around pipes to prevent warm or cool air from escaping.
  • Ensure your home is adequately insulated, including walls, attic, and floors.
  • Use ceiling fans to circulate air.
  • Keep curtains and blinds closed during the hottest part of the day to block out sunlight and reduce the heat entering your home.
  • Replace incandescent bulbs with energy-efficient LED or CFL bulbs.

Can HVAC run on solar in Arlington?

Yes, HVAC systems can be powered by solar energy near Arltington, TX. Solar-powered HVAC systems utilize energy from the sun to generate electricity, which is then used to operate heating and cooling components. If you are looking to save money on their energy bills and reduce their environmental impact this would be a great option to consider.

How much does it cost to replace an AC unit in Arlington?

The cost to replace a Central AC unit in Arlington, TX will be between $5,000 – $12,000 on average.

Here are some factors that can affect the cost of replacing an AC unit:

  • Unit size and type: Larger units and higher-efficiency models (measured in SEER rating) generally cost more.
  • Brand and warranty: Premium brands and longer warranties can increase the price.
  • Labor costs: Rates vary by company and complexity of the installation.
  • Ductwork and electrical work: If additional modifications are need, it will add to the overall cost.
  • The size of your home: A larger home will require a larger AC unit, which will be more expensive.
  • The type of system: Whether your looking to install a ductless mini split, gas or electric central air conditioning system will determine your overall cost.

How do I know if my water heater needs repair or replacement in Arlington?

To determine if your Arlington water heater needs to be repaired or replaced check the following signs include:

  • Low water pressure: If you notice that your hot water pressure is lower than usual, it is a sign that your water heater may not be working properly. This can be caused by a variety of things, including a faulty thermostat, a clogged sediment trap, or a buildup of sediment in the tank.
  • No hot water: If you don’t have any hot water at all, it is a sign that your water heater has a serious problem. This could be caused by a number of things, including a blown fuse, a tripped circuit breaker, or a faulty water heater.
  • Age: Water heaters typically last between 8 and 12 years. If your water heater is older than 10 years, it is likely time to start thinking about replacing it.
  • Leaks: If you see any water leaking from your water heater, it is a sign that there is a problem. Leaks can be caused by a variety of things, including a faulty tank, a loose fitting, or a crack in the piping.
  • Rusting: If you see rust on the outside of your water heater, it is a sign that the tank is corroding. This can lead to leaks and other problems.
  • Strange noises: If you hear strange noises coming from your water heater, such as banging, hissing, or rumbling, it is a sign that there is a problem. These noises can be caused by a variety of things, including sediment buildup, a faulty heating element, or a cracked tank.
  • Your water has an unusual smell.

What DIY methods are effective for clearing minor drain clogs in my Arlington home?

Try some of these DIY methods to clear minor drain clogs in your Arlington area home:

  • Boiling Water
  • Baking Soda and Vinegar
  • Plunger
  • Salt and Hot Water
  • Plumbing Snake or Wire Hanger

While chemical drain cleaners are an option, use them with caution, as they can be harsh on pipes and may pose safety risks.

Can I perform electrical repairs myself?

No you should not try to perform electrical repairs yourself unless you have some type of formal electrical training and certification. Performing electrical repairs without proper knowledge and experience can be dangerous. It’s best to hire a licensed local Arlington electrician for any electrical work to ensure safety and compliance with electrical codes.

When should I consider upgrading my Electrical panel in my Arlington home?

If you have safety or increased power demands and your Arlington home was built more than 25 years ago, you should consider upgrading your electrical panel.

Here are some key signs to watch for:

  • Outdated panels may lack modern safety features like circuit breakers that trip quickly to prevent overheating and fire risks. Newer panels offer enhanced safety mechanisms.
  • If your house has aluminum wiring it can deteriorate and pose fire risks. Upgrading to a panel compatible with copper wiring.
  • If circuits are constantly tripping due to overloaded appliances, it indicates insufficient capacity.
  • Modern appliances like high-end refrigerators, electric vehicles, and hot tubs draw significantly more power. Your current panel might not be equipped to handle their combined load.

Even without immediate needs, upgrading to a panel with higher amperage (e.g., 200 amp) prepares your home for future electrical demands, like additional appliances or potential solar panel installations.

Hobson rep called me in May to set up appt for summer check up. I am a member of their club and I get this done for no charge at the time of service. I called them back the 1st of July and said I would like to have my unit serviced. They set me up to fit me in when they could. Joshua came by on the 5th. He was professional and sent pictures. He cleaned the leaves out of the base of my AC unit which was above and beyond my expectations. He showed up in the morning around 10 which I was very happy about.

Excessive delay in service.
I had to suffer in the heat with no AC for 17 days, cooking all my meals out on the grill even when it’s raining to not increase the temperature in the house from cooking in the oven or on the stove top. I have been a customer for 20 years and I feel that I was not taken care of and they should’ve provided a temporary window AC while waiting for the compressor part to arrive. Our technician, Mike did a great job installing the compressor when it arrived and none of this is his fault.

Upon arrival homeowner stated that system is working properly and has not had issues since yesterday. Thermostat on auto and satisfied, switched to cool and dropped temperature to keep system operating while diagnosing. I let him know I would still check system and see if I can find reasoning for system not working After inspecting indoor unit I could not find any issues and system was working properly Moved to outdoor condenser unit and only found a popped compressor saver kit, replaced under P&L warranty and system continued to function properly after new Compressor kit installed Checked Delta and had a perfect 20° cooling Talked to homeowner let him know I could not find any issues with system and it was operating as it should. Let homeowner know I switched out compressor saver kit and if system happens to have issues again to call the office and we can come look at it while it is failing. For this evaluation the customers upstairs system was not cooling however it was blowing air. I started outside and when the customer kicked on the system it was making an extremely loud buzzing sound and when I opened up the electrical panel there was ants everywhere. Ants had gotten into the contactor and burnt it up causing that contactor to fail. I replaced the contactor and if I'm doing so everything kicked on and started working, refrigerant levels and amp draws were all within range.

They are calling home Depot to get them ordered and then we'll be calling us to give us the confirmation number for us to pick them up and return soon.

After replacing capacitor I flipped breaker and both fan and compressor kicked on I went into attic to check Delta to confirm system is indeed cooling and had an 18° Delta and thermostat was steadily dropping Informed homeowners that it would take a while

For this tuneup, we did a thorough evaluation of the system On the inside unit, we got a 23° delta between returning supply As far as cooling goes, it is cooling efficiently as possible On the outside, no visible damage to any of the major components Wash the condenser from the inside out My only recommendation is to get a duct cleaning, dust and debris is the number one reason why air conditioners fail, prematurely The duct cleaning will elongate system productivity Thank you for choosing Comfort experts. They stated that the previous text left the damper for the first floor completely open but that their system could not handle cooling all three floors simultaneously. All the homeowners wanted was for us to close the dampers until the new damper arrives and works properly. Homeowners were in a rush to leave when I got there, there was not time to do anything other than close to damper as requested.
